I used to go to Legacy nails for almost a decade because I follow Ana. She works there and she's amazing and she does a wonderful job but the owners and the staff is extremely rude. They don't have any etiquette how to welcome you. Speak to you or make you feel comfortable. I usually go to another place but a friend had heard of this place and insisted we try it. Initially we walked in and was met by one of the young men (an owner) and he's rude.. "Pick a Color" .. No prices listed the technician tells you the price based on what you want done and anything special is added to a base price. I think their prices are high compared to the cleaner salons around so just beware. For a pedicure all the nail techs carry around these caboodle boxes with their tools and the inside of those were soooo dirty and dusty. You can tell they don't clean the tools and they use them from person to person. They get paid for the number of services they do so they just churn people through. I won't be back. read more

First of all, be aware prices have changed so ignore the old price list. I have attached an up to date price sheet as of March 24, 2019. My Apple maps originally took me to LA nails in the TJ max parking lot, know it is directly behind the TJ max. You will see a sign that says Legacy Nails before you turn in. The building it's located in looks very well maintained and as soon as you walk in, it's like any typical affordable nail salon. No fancy seating or receptionist just employees hard at work who greet you and ask you what you'd like done upon arrival. They have all the regular polish colors on the left wall once you walk in and they are color coordinated. Coming in on a Sunday I expected them to be fairly busy but it was pretty mellow for 12:30. Sadly they didn't have much staff working so my two minute wait turned into 20 minutes very quickly (I did a walk in so I can't complain!) they seem to seat you quickly if you're getting a pedicure which is nice that you can wait with your feet soaking until someone is ready for you. I ended up leaving before services could happen because after about 25 minutes I was a little tired of playing on my phone. Side note I did not have an appointment so I can't really complain about the wait however, they did tell me two minutes which isn't the best way to start a nail relationship. This review is solely based on the prices, atmosphere, and location. read more

The lady did such a poor job and literally charged $65 for this. They're not all the same shape, not straight, not even and are all different sizes. She also pressured me the entire time to get coffin shaped. On top of the nails being horrible quality for $65, she kept getting on her phone and having everyone come look at my nails. Not to mention she didn't clean them up/ and they're literally see through where the color is because she rushed and only did one coat. She also asked me about a tip which just wasn't going to happen. Something needs to be done because that's not right and I honestly feel crazy for even paying for these. Very clean place, lots of staff. But I got a gel manicure and literally within one week 3 of my nails chipped and one ripped. Not worth the $30 plus tip. UPDATE: it's been like one week since I got my nails done and it's the worst Gel manicure I've ever had, 4 nails have already chipped and the remaining nails are on the verge of cracking. My nails are very very strong and I've been able to keep my gel manicures in tact for upwards of a month but this manicure couldn't even last a week. I think they use really low quality gel polish is the only conclusion I've come up with. Overall will not be returning. read more

I used legacy mail spa at Pooler frequently and the one in Savannah a couple of times. Last visit was not satisfactory. I did not get hot towels, only one coat of polish was applied for pedicure. I usually get a buff manicure. This time there was no shine to the mail. I also has to refile a few nails because they were rough or not shaped well. I called the next day and the manager just asked me why I didn't say something at the time. Yes, I should have, but I had a lot on my mind and was distracted. No apology. Two stars for Peter because he does well but the morale of the staff is low and they don't know how to keep their customers happy and admit when they made a mistake. Peter was on vacation and they referred me to a rookie nail tech, apparently. My nails are a medium long length and when I went in he thinned the acrylic too much during my fill and my nails started cracking where my real nail ended , come to find out they are cracking at that point because the acrylic was not built on top to support the length of my nail. I live in Pooler so I was going to let a nail tech fix my nail that was close to me but she advised me to go back as other nails were like that below the surface more than likely. When I got there and was polite and discreet about my nail issues they were defensive, unapologetic and started talking in their native language and laughing. The nail tech proceeded to tell me he would charge for each nail and they continued joking in their language. Not going back, my money is good anywhere and money isn't the issue it's the principles of business and they have none. Find somewhere that gives a darn. read more

This is a new "Pick Your Color" nail shop. I chose this location because it was new and seemingly would have the least risk of contracting a foot fungus from the pedicure bowls! I hope I was right! The chic at the counter was less than enthused to greet me when I came in and offered a barely audible" Hello" and pick your color. They do have a decent selection of gel colors, which was a plus. The tech doing my pedicure also did my nails, which was fine with me. I'm not the type who cares for convo when I'm being serviced, so her quietness was a.o.k. My nails and feet are perfect! Paid $55 for a gel pedicure today at this place. The girl who performed the pedicure used one tool, nail clippers. She left spots of my old blue nail polish. She didn't file my nails or buff them before she polished them. She did not remove the cuticles. She did not remove any dead skin. She did not remove the little ingrown nails that develop over time. Thin polish spots were left on my nails, while polish was left on my skin. Also, remnants of the mask were left on my legs for me to remove on my own. She rushed through and then ran off. I asked another employee for a nail file and filed my own nails where she clipped them carelessly and left sharp ridges because she never filed them. This, of course, left the front edges of my nails with no polish on them and a sort of "dirty" look from the filing. I did notify a manager. He removed the remaining blue polish from before, with a small file, but did not re-polish those spots. He ignored the other issues I mentioned. He did not offer any type of discount, nor an apology, at all. I paid the full price without argument and will never go back! read more
