"Tiffany" argued with me about my mom's nail color choice and then didn't say anything when she realized my mom and I were right about the color being wrong. Pretty rude people. Great! It's different than any nail salon I have been to. They give you a menu to choose what you want. At first I was overwhelmed with the amount of things on the menu but I just wanted a simple pedicure. I went for the Rock Pedicure and I highly recommend it if you want something simple yet luxurious. They buff, trim, massage, exfoliate (as most spas do) but they also apply a nice green mask to your legs to make it nice and smooth and bring out hot rocks for a hot rock massage on your foot! Other women in the salon went for more adventurous items that included a tray of fresh fruits etc to use for their spa. I will definitely be trying other things on the menu next time! read more

The gent that did my nails was very sweet and a wonderful character that made my experience much better...that being said... I called before coming to see if they had time for a quick mani they said yes, but I still waited well over a half hour. Once in the chair, it was an ok experience, but my nails ended up being uneven... I have had better manicures. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this salon. We had a group of six go, 3 pedis, 5 manis. While it was busy and we did have to wait some time, each service was thorough, not rushed as expected. One friend even had the wrong nail color put on and they fixed it immediately. The pedi was standard, but I tried the dipped nails, along with a friend. I am super impressed with the color selection and how well they turned out. I have tried quite a few nail salons in Lubbock, but this will quite easily become my standard salon. I have ingrown toenails. It's not pretty and it's quite painful. Every time I have gotten a pedicure here, the staff know exactly how to cut my nails to alleviate the pain and make my feet look presentable. I absolutely love coming here and the service I get. Amazing service! I went in off of the reviews and I am so glad I did! They were all so nice, and explained everything out and my options for what polishes I could use! I had Tina work on my nails and they are gorgeous, she took her time, and she was super nice. My nails are neat, clean, and exactly what I wanted! The prices are super reasonable too, for a gel manicure it is $28, however I got a student discount, so it lowered it to $25! I've been to several salons in Lubbock, and this one is definitely the one I'm going to stick with. They're very nice, clean, quick, & meticulous. Lynn is my technician, and she makes an effort to really converse with me. My only complaints are that on occasion they become understaffed, so I have to wait longer than anticipated. Terrible experience. Went in on a Sunday to get my nails done with my friend and I was not spoken to by the nail technician (who I think was also the owner). She took about an hour and a half on a simple full set of acrylic nails with shellac because she was too busy talking to her employees and worrying about other customers instead of what I wanted. She then proceeded to mess up one of my nails on one hand and thought she could fix the problem by making the same nail on the other hand look the same. I went back in on Tuesday to ask her to please make the nail she messed up look like the others and she refused to fix her own mistake. They were so rude when I came in with two of my nails broken a day after I was there they blamed it on me and said they would fix one but that the other was not that actually broken it was a scratch ( I showed them the acrylic was cracked all the way) they fixed both and rushed me out. I have been there many times and they are just not what they used to be. So terrible. I just had 2 more nails break!! It's 2/7 today and I got them done on 2/4. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I went here twice. The first time was fine but took forever--over 2 hours for a mani-pedi. The second time, they were not very busy and a young man did my pedi. He was clearly new and untrained and took over an hour for a basic pedicure and he didn't do a top coat. He cut my nails so crooked that when polished with my dark color that they looked like little uneven pebbles on my feet. For my manicure, I asked for a gel french manicure. I wanted my nails cut shorter and they ended up being uneven. The young, pretty, bored woman who did them made the white 1/2 moons too deep and we had to correct a couple of times. Worst of all, within a week the sides of my nails were already flipping up because she left polish on the skin and cuticles. I get manicures faithfully every 2 weeks and this was ridiculous. There are lots of other places to try and I wlll not be going back here. read more

While in town for work, I had some major time to kill so a coworker and I decided to go get our nails done. This is always such a gamble, being that nail salons are a dime a dozen, but, I wasn't traveling back home for another 4 days so I figured I'd go. I had called around the time they opened to see if we needed an appointment and was told no. Being that it was a Saturday, I asked if I could make one to secure a spot, since I figured they may be busy. They said no again because there was no need and we headed there (a 5 min drive from our hotel so about 10 mins after I called). When we got there, we signed in, told them what we wanted and were told it would be about a 10-20 minute wait. No prob...until an hour had passed and we were still waiting. We aren't complainers so we didn't bother them about it, plus we didn't really have anything else to do anyway. Finally, after about an hour and a half (they really were not busy, I'm not quite sure what was going on) they began working on us. We had acrylic overlay fills with shellac polish. They did a pretty good job and I was overall pretty satisfied with the service. Because of the long wait, I didn't get to get a polish change on my toes like I wanted, but that's ok. The pros: cleanliness, modern inside, decent job on my finished nails, large selection of shellac polishes. The cons: it wasn't an overly friendly atmosphere (no one was rude or anything, but no one really went out of their way), the waiting shenanigans (about every 10 mins they'd said "5 more minutes" until it was over an hour later), they work at a slow pace (not necessarily a con, I don't mind people taking their time to produce a good result, but if you're in a hurry, you may want to come when you have more time), the waxing services take place out in front of people in the open (I didn't have any waxing but caught myself staring bc I was surprised it happened right there in front of everyone). If I lived here, I don't know if I'd make this my go-to place, but it was fine overall. read more

All the workers here are very nice, however my experience here left me never wanting to return. I spent nearly 4 hours at this salon just to get a basic manicure and pedicure, while other customers who came in after I did got serviced first. The pedicure seemed rushed and I only received half the treatments that I paid for. My manicure was rushed as well, and it just ended up looking completely awful. To top it all off, I got acetone spilled all over my clothes, staining my shirt and I didn't even receive an apology. I ended up with a $70 manicure and pedicure that I could've done myself and done a much better job on. This was my favorite salon and I thought I finally found a nail home! But then I realized I was wrong. They have some good nail techs BUT they are always packed and busy and of you don't get there early, you're out of luck. You may be thinking if they are busy, it means they have good service.... not always. They value money over customer service, get you in and out and if they mess up a nail, they can't fix it right then, you have to wait. I got my nails done Friday the 16th and realized soon after that my thumb nail was crooked and it's noticeable to me, other nails had messy paint job and I can feel lumps on my nails and this is GEL! I haven't had a chance to go back and I refuse too! This has happened in the past with new nail techs there who do shoddy, quick work but I went to one of the veterans and he screwed up! I liked the fact that they offered free tub liners when you get a pedicure and drinks but really I paid 65 dollars for nothing. read more

I'm new to town and was in dying need of a pedi and new set of nails. I saw this place has many decent or okay reviews so why not give it a try? Well the lady doing my toes was VERY rough. So rough I probably said "ouch" or "ooo that hurts" the whole time!! She kept insisting that she wasn't hurting me saying "that doesn't hurt" when in reality if it didn't I wouldn't of said it did. Anyways, I then move on to my nails which came out to be a total disaster... I asked for the same color as my toes nails and she recommended a color that looked similar and after putting it on my nails the colors were in no way similar.. then I prefer thin, not so chunky nails because my hands are small and they look really weird if they are thick and chunky. I let her know my preference and she does exactly what I ask her not too. After being there for a whopping 2 hours I just decide to jet out of there without making a scene because they weren't listening anyways. I have gave this place 2 stars because the nails tech was nice and kept conversation, however at some points they were not professional at all. I will not be returning. read more

If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. Bad customer service on the part of one of the manicurists. She looks punk rock and speaks English without an accent. I had grey shellac originally, and when she finished painting my nails a sheer pinkish shellac, you could see some of where she left grey on my nail underneath on 3 of my nails. When I brought this to her attention, she said "no, that's your skin." I said, "no, see its grey." She said "then next time get a manicure, too." My first time going to this place will be my last. And I have no problem spreading the word to family and friends. I'll gladly drive the distance to go back to my previous place. At least there, they believe in Customer Service! Terrible. I saw this place had decent ratings and for the price I thought I would give it a try. The pedicure was the worst I've ever had. He didn't massage. I had to ask him to exfoliate again. He rushed through the whole thing. My feet look no better then when I went in. I had already made the appointment for a pedicure and a gel manicure so I decided to go ahead and get that. I picked my color and he brought back the complete wrong one. I mentioned it was wrong and he argued saying that it was in fact the color I chose. So I decide to let him proceed. After the 1st coat I mentioned again that I didn't think it was the color I selected and he argued again. So I let him finish. Then I grabbed the swatch and showed him that it was in fact the wrong color. He re did them in the correct color. That was all only 3 days ago and my toes and gel are already chipping. Never again. Lesson learned. I will stick to my previous salon. read more
