I left SF for my trip to Lubbock and didn't have a chance to get a mani/pedi and both were desperately needed. I came here as it was recommended by my parents for a basic no polish mani and a basic pedi with polish. I came right at opening time and it wasn't busy and had just a few people working. I didn't wait at all and was quickly attended to and while seated at the pedicure chair was handed the list of services to choose from. The person that did my services seemed very green and almost afraid to touch me. While very gentle, I feel like he didn't get my cuticles on neither my feet or hands very good at all and it seemed he kept asking what to do next and where to find what he needed. I get that basic services at nail salons are not the norm these days, but I'm basic and keep my nails short and clean. Perhaps this just isn't what they are accustomed to doing here. Service was friendly enough and the place is large and modern looking located in a small shopping center. They had a large selection of powders and dips for nail art. The cleanliness that I feel is important in a nail salon wasn't apparent and for that I could only give 3 stars. (Nail dust everywhere, messy tools and supplies haphazardly about and this was all at opening time, which is when it should be the cleanest IMO.) My toes look great, nails eh, and for basic services and no polish on my hands (just toes) I paid $75 before tip, which is what I pay in SF for what I consider a much better experience all around. read more

Great!!! When I went in it was very quiet and there was little to no talking but that wasn't a big deal to me. The man who did my nails was very precise and wanted to do the best he could. He was amazing! My nails are 100% the same to my reference picture but I never expect perfection. They are well done and very symmetrical. The prices were so good! Well.. where do I begin.. This is BY FAR the WORST nail experience of my life. I got there a little late for my appointment, but it was only by 5 mins. No biggie. She sat me down and started soaking off the nails I had on prior, and then started finishing someone else's nails. I wasn't upset about that, I understand the nails need to soak a bit. But, in order to get the process going , she needs to check on me from time to time. Not just leave me soaking for an hour. They over book themselves which is the problem. Anyway, wasn't too upset about that, just annoyed. Finally it was my turn. She starts drilling off the rest of the nail, then stops and gets a tip and starts ripping off the rest of my nail!! Lazy!!! I thought to myself, just get through it. She kept trying to get the nails off, and is having a hard time, so she asks someone to do it. He then proceeds to literally RIP MY REAL NAILS OFF!! My nails were bleeding!!! I told them they were bleeding, and she was like "that's OK, I'm going to put a nail on top of it" My nails still hurt!! And because they ripped my nails off, the fake nail is coming off.. I went without an appointment right when they opened. Service was quick and pleasant. I've gone other times where it takes 2-3 hours for a mani pedi and they are ALWAYS busy when you go later in the day or on the weekend. My nail tech was very sweet and listened to everything I wanted. They also are VERy clean and use standard hygiene of sterilized tools changed out for each customer. I'm happy as usual! The several times I've been, it's been okay, nails are overpriced in my opinion and they don't clean their nail tools which led to an infection in my nail, they don't communicate very well on how much something will cost until after but I have to say the atmosphere is great, and the pricing for waxing is awesome. I had booked an appointment and came in only for her to tell me to come back the next day, no biggie people have bad days so I came back for another appointment the next day and sat for about 45 minutes before I was gotten to then I asked for coffin and got a lumpy mess was there for about an hour and a half and still didn't get my design (which was simple lines) she put another client that had an appointment after me before me so I had to leave with no design (paid 60$) and was told to come back in the morning I came back to get my design and had to wait an hour to get a 10 minute design and then was charged an extra 15$ after having to come back 3 times at this point I left and told myself I wouldn't come back well it's not even three days later and my nails are falling off. I did a walk in and I feel I should've just set up an appointment but after reading reviews and watching Savannah answer the phone and not write down what time a client wanted to reschedule for I don't think they take appointments seriously. I signed in once I arrived for a full set and pedi. I waited for like an hour then, they were like okay go sit in the chair to get a pedi and i sat down then watched as they put the girl who came in AFTER me to start getting her nails done. I was upset bc instead of putting me to get my nails done first, they put me to wait for the ONLY man doing pedis to finish the lady next to me, which took almost another hour. I waited about 30 minutes before I asked why I was just waiting and Savannah came up to the counter, she could tell I was upset and she was "you are next, YOURE next, just please wait" i asked her how much longer and she just said "not long" she did come off a bit blunt/rude but I was like okay and then I noticed that girl who got there after me finished her nails right when I was gonna finally going to get started on my toes, when in reality I could've got my nails done and right after went straight to get my toes done and then left but I was there for like 3 1/2 hours and 2 of them were just waiting savannah ended up being the one to do my nails, she was in and out of doing them, going to attend other clients, or talk and ask them questions, but she did do them SUPER FAST. she seemed busy/ distracted not only the whole time she did my nails but the whole time I was there. which Ik they were busy but in reality I should've never been put to wait twice and had someone who got there after me be put before me. After I left and got in my car, I noticed how dirty my nails had been left, there was glue and they were really clumpy on the side, from a distance they looked so cute but up close they were very messy. When I got home I filed them and they ended up looking fine. I saw Savannah interact with other customers, along with the other techs, it did seem they have a good relationship with some of their regulars but if you're new you kinda get put the to side. I originally booked what I thought was an appointment(via messenger) for me and a friend. We walked in and I said I had an appointment. The lady asked for my name and then asked if I booked through messenger. She had us sit and wait for a minute, then moved us to two pedicure chairs. We sat there for an hour and fifteen minutes with no other acknowledgement from staff. A male staff member that had spoke to almost every other woman in the salon walked right past my friend and I to the lady seated next to us, offered her a drink and chatted her up, got her ready for her pedicure, and then walked right back by us without so much as a word. It was not terrible but to be honest, I have been to better salons in Lubbock that do a better job then this nail salons. For starters, I don't ever leave reviews unless it was very good or not the best. To be honest, my nails look great, kind of a little crooked but great. My toes on the other hand, not at all what I was expecting, the guy that did my toes, I guess was new but didn't understand what exactly what I wanted, I didn't realize until I left how ugly and disappointed I was with the outcome of my toes. I understand that he had appointment but it was kind of ridiculous to start on my nails then push me off to someone else who couldn't stop fidgeting with her phone. Then it comes time with the bill, I was not expecting my total for acrylic nails and shellac pedicure to be $110. That's a little too much overpriced. I typically can spend $70-$90 for acrylic nails and shellac pedicure and be a 100% satisfied anywhere else I go! I won't be coming back here. It was so disorganized and they didn't have enough staff for the amount of patients that they had. I hate the way my toes look and it was definitely not worth the $60 I spent on them.
