Many of my questions went unanswered, and I often felt I had to repeatedly follow up for information and updates. In fact, I had to contact Zillow for corrections when that's the realtor's job. The home remained on the market for an extended period with very limited feedback provided to me. Aside from being told the house showed well and one buyer wanted a larger downstairs bedroom, I received little information regarding buyer or agent impressions. After consulting another real estate professional, I learned that several staging and presentation changes were recommended immediately that had previously been dismissed. I had suggested these changes for staging purposes and was told, "it's fine." This left me questioning whether my home had been positioned as effectively as possible from the beginning. I was also surprised to discover that the website printed on the business cards was not functioning properly. As a seller, I expect marketing materials and online resources to be fully operational. My biggest concern was that I did not feel informed throughout the process. Selling a home is one of the largest financial transactions most people will ever make, and I believe sellers deserve clear communication, realistic pricing guidance, timely responses, and proactive marketing. This was my experience, and I hope it helps other sellers ask detailed questions about communication expectations, marketing plans, and pricing strategy before signing a listing agreement. I would not recommend her services.

Right away he was very friendly and addressed me and my partner's needs right away. First impressions really mean a lot to me especially in the field I work. Alvin definitely left a very good first impression with us. Instead of getting to the administrative stuff (so boring) he took the opportunity to get to know us, which made us feel appreciated as a valued customer. Alvin made the paperwork experience fun. We shared a lot of laughs and he made us feel like we could take off our shoes and relax while he puts in the work. Also, he's LGBT friendly, which I was a huge plus on my end. After all the administrative stuff was done (super boring) he took a look at his calendar and was able to squeeze us in to view a home nearby. We arrived at the first viewing. Right away Alvin knew what we wanted after getting to know us a bit. One of the things I admired about him was that he never used his own personal opinion about the house unless we would ask. He pointed out some things right off the bat that may need some work but also noted that he's not an inspector. He would tell us not to fall in love too quickly and be patient. He advised we should look at other homes first before making our first offer. Our first offer was on a home along Cushman Ave in Tacoma. We experienced falling in love w/ a 1 bedroom home and 1 bath. It was about 700 sqft (wtf?). When Alvin took us to view the home, he pointed out features and potential upgrades for the future. I also liked that he explained the difference between updates and upgrades. Alvin was definitely on that offer by being persistent with checking in and mediating what exactly was going on. We ended up writing a letter to try and secure the home with the offer we put. Unfortunately, we were outbid. Ugh, I'm so glad we didn't get that tiny 1 bedroom w/ an awkward mirror on top of the tub. Alvin's lesson was don't jump the gun too early because there may be something else better out there. However, he pointed out that if it's what we want he will fight for it! It was time to put another offer on another home. Our last offer which totals 3, we finally got accepted. It was a total upgrade from that little Cushman house. After all that crazy stress about getting outbid and all the wondering, Alvin always kept our spirits lifted by telling us not to worry and that "he will" get us into a home. His words came through to me as confident and uplifting. When we did the walkthrough I was excited and he would remind me in a joking way not to get too excited. That really helped me focus because as a first-time homebuyer I was just ready and willing to get this over with. Thanks for keeping me in check Alvin! He took us on the tour of the house and pointed out anything he could. Everything he pointed out did not leave any biased feelings about the house, but rather things to look out for. Even when the inspection came back with some little things, he was on it right away. He would tell us that he's going to make sure these things are taken care of before move-in. Alvin kept his word and never left any promises or mentions unfulfilled. Overall, if you're looking for someone who is true to keeping his word and treating you like a person/friend instead of a general customer, then I recommend Alvin. There was never a time where I was skeptical about him. He smiles a lot, he has a respectful demeanor, he's trustworthy, he's not greedy or money-hungry like some other realtors out there who just want to put you in a home right away so they can get that paycheck, and most important he was very communicative. In any friendship/relationship communication is the key! This guy really showed where he needed to be. Another fun thing about Alvin was that we had so many laughs with some of the houses we looked at. I remember seeing an old house with a creepy little door that reminded me of Paranormal Activity. We would laugh about those things which prove to me that Alvin is just a person and not a money-hungry realtor. I can write more about him but this review is already super long. I give you props if you read the whole thing. Thank you, Alvin, for everything. We are settled in and we appreciate everything you've done for us. I also really love my orchid you left for us when we got our keys. I appreciate the welcome gift/card and it really made us feel like a friend of yours rather than a client lol. You have been persistent, honest, and reliable. If you're boss ever sees this they better recognize! Lastly, anyone could be all those things I mentioned, but you outshined people I've come across in your field. P.S. I'm keeping the sold sign for my man cave lol.

He will learn what you like and dislike, then help point that out in the houses. His scheduling is masterful, no matter what he will keep you able to visit houses. We ended up seeing something like 35 - 40 houses in the end and he didn't complain at all while rescheduling everything for me because I ran late most of the time. Great guy, and I enjoyed working with him. The only thing that would've been nice is if he knew the financing process slightly better, but that isn't really his business.

Two names to remember: MICHAEL ROBINSON and COREY MATNEY…read more Michael is the owner of this branch, and Corey an agent. Together these two guys are our "Aces in our Pocket!" Michael's expertise is amazing and undeniable! He can read and process real estate unlike anybody I've met. If you're buying, he can give you a really accurate feel for true value - and house quality. -- And he'll be totally honest with you! (Not a lot of schmoozing here!) When selling --- WOW! This is the guy for you! Again - he will be honest with you. He will tell you straight-up what he thinks your house will go for ... quickly. We have met with many other agents ... and many of them give us numbers that are "fluffy" to say the least. (If not overpriced - and I say this humbly, because as we sold our house, we had to deal with the reality of the "agents'" idea of value - often too high ... and the reality of what a buyer would pay) Michael will be up front - and may even sound a bit lower asking than other agents would encourage. But - TRUST ME - he knows what it takes to sell... without being on the market for several months (or longer!). Yet, he is still capable of hearing you out --- and totally worked with us on getting the most (the fastest) out of our home. And let's not even talk about contacts... Michael has been around Tacoma for a long time ... and knows EVERYBODY! Corey Matney worked with us (in tandem with Michael) -- he was our main buying agent. He was so on top of it with looking for houses. He wasn't stalker-ish (and don't even pretend you don't know what I'm talking about!... some agents are just flat-out creepy and annoying!). He understood what we were looking for - price, size, and motivation. This Windermere office has my highest respect -- and we've worked with A LOT of different agents/companies/offices! I - as a rule - have little time or respect for real estate agents (I know ... that's pretty rude of me), and I don't give out respect freely without it being earned -- so, the least I can do it throw up a YELP review! Give them a call -- and hear them out!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON!! I attended an estate…read moresale put on by Kellie & and accociate of hers named John on Sunday the 23rd of August, . My friends & I encountered a dog there who did not respond well when approached, so my girlfriend who is a groomer/trainer said we shouldn't engage it. It did hang around off leash though. I purchased one of two "identical" bedroom sets & a chest. I was to come the next day to pick up. The following day I showed up with my handyman w a flatbed trailer. I was offered my bedroom set $ to be refunded to me if we would help them move stuff out of the house & take to the dump. I really needed the money, so we stayed. 5 hours later, I was returning with boxes she had asked for & her dog was out in the driveway. As I walked past her she launched her teeth into my upper left thigh. I went straight to the bathroom to check. It wasn't good. I calmly asked if their dog was up to date on immunizations. They said "She bit you?" Then they started yelling at each other over who let the dog out of their site! They were totally unconcerned about me (did not even ask one thing about how I was or anything) Kellie took off & left me there with John to finish a 6 hr day. Didn't give me her contact info! My handyman got John's phone number. The next day, my dog bite was infected, & they had not returned my payment as promised. I called & left voicemails & texts of photos of my thigh bite w John several times to get their dogs immunization records. No response. I had to do some detective work to even find out who Kellie was/who had put on the sale. She had only told me that she was out of Tacoma, only doing the sale in Buckley because she had gone to school w the deceased. I found her & left an unreturned voicemail. By then her associate, John, texted back that he did not care if I went to the hospital or not. That was it. I went to Covington Hospital to the ER on Tues Aug 25th with fever caused by an infection from the dog bite. Shots + 2 weeks of really strong antibiotics & pain! The next day I tried calling again & she happened to answer her phone. She said she did indeed run that estate sale, but she did not remember who I was!!! I reminded her that the 4 of us worked together all day on the prior Monday clearing out that house in return for a refund for my bedroom set (That was not even the bedroom set I saw! 2 identical, but they gave me a set that was dented, scratched, stained, & disgusting, while keeping the nice set for herself) She said sternly, "I do not give refunds OR exchanges. I don't know who you are or what you are talking about." I then said, well, I'm the one your dog bit. She then yelled, "You only CLAIMED she bit you!" What?! Did this information immediately jog her memory as to who I was? I told her I needed their info for my insurance & expected my promised refund for my work. She refused. I said I would have to make a police report. She laughed really loud and said "Good luck with that!" And hung up on me! I had an emotional break down at that moment. How could people be so horrific & deceitful? Rude does not even begin cover it! KELLIE PROVED TO BE AN UNTRUSTWORTHY IRRESPONSIBLE LIAR TO ME. THEIR DOG BIT ME and they refuse to take any accountability for anything they promise, say or do. She lied to me & I'm now having to dispute my purchase through my credit card company, offering her gross & damaged bedroom set back, when ever she wants to pick it up. I had to make a police report, deal w health isurance that wants her to pay my hospital bill, and get advice from an attorney because I was traumatized by this WHOLE experience with her & didn't know what to do. I'm not suing her, I'm not that kind of person. I don't want her dog put down as it was HER and her associate's fault the dog, (I found out had bitten people before!) was unleashed around strangers in someone else's home. I am taking measures to make sure they stay accountable as possible, as I found she was one of the most indecent & uncomassionate humans I'd ever met. I read her website & could not believe she's been in business this long! This is NOT A WOMAN YOU WANT TO PROPERLY AND ETHICALLY TAKE CARE OF YOUR LOVED ONES BELONGINGS. She has seen these photos of the damage her dog did to my leg...she doesn't care! She even told me her associate owned the dog & he's not on her payroll so what ever happened has nothing to do with her. NO ACCOUNTABILITY! This was run by HER business correct? She is licenced bonded and insured, so why not use her insurance to pay for my hospital visit? Why work me all day and not follow through with my refund? Her inactions and words have proved to me that she can be an absolutely horrible person who is irresponsible & unaccountable for her own mistakes. She had not one drop of compassion after their dog attacked me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! If you do, be prepared for possible unwelcome surprises on your property.
