We hired Mitch to do a bath remodel, widen the kitchen doorway, install tile floors throughout the entry, kitchen, bath and hallway and hang a new front door. We interviewed a total of 8 contractors, and he was the ONLY one to give us a written estimate. He is very pleasant and easy to work with and I work in the design build industry for a living so that says a lot. He suggests ideas and if issues arrive, as they always do in construction, he handles any problems promptly and respectfully. All the tile work was very well done, and I am particularly picky about details. They even finished earlier than expected, which was a real nice bonus since we had to move out having only one bathroom in the condo. We purchased a new home this year. My wife wanted her walk-in closet upgraded to more than some place to hang her clothes. I considered all the well advertised walk-in closet installers, but a friend said I should give Mitch at Legacy Remodeling a call. Mitch came to our house. He saw the closet and we discussed what we wanted. He offered his suggestions, which were things we hadn't considered. He drew up the plans and we agreed on the cost. The job was completed in a day. We were so happy with the results. There were also a couple of other "handyman" things that I needed fixed, and Mitch and his team also completed those for us that day (garbage disposal install, toilet installs, lighting fixes). For example, even though it was sealed, I noticed that the drain for my new tub wasn't 100% overlapping the tub's cutout drain hole. It was probably not a big deal, but Mitch wanted me to have peace of mind and had his plumber adjust the drain so that it was properly centered and covers the entire cutout of the drain.   Mitch's prep work to ensure my property was protected was very much appreciated. For example, my flooring was brand new. Knowing that, he applied high quality flooring covers to ensure that my flooring was protected with the best products. Each place he or his workers stepped into was covered. I would recommend Mitch for your home projects. He will give you a fair price and like with any service provider you hire, just make sure to discuss everything up front, have open communication every day to ensure your project is going well. If I could give Mitch more than 5 stars I would. He came in to save the day when another company did half the work of a water damage/drywall repair project and then ghosted. Not only did he finish the job right away for us and with superb communication and speed, but he also recommended a couple other areas of repair that he noticed needed fixing when nobody else did (and they actually did need it!). The time and care he took with our home was highly appreciated and valued. last month I hired Mitch and his team for a home improvement. The home improvement was my kitchen. he helped me work through some difficult situations in my 1949 tracked home. He helped me measure out my countertops, take away overhead cabinets that I no longer needed, help me with the entryway from my living room through my dining room into my old antiquated kitchen. I had some water damage underneath my floors and he helped me maneuver the beams underneath my linoleum floor, help me replace electrical and painted the entire kitchen. I have to say, without him I couldn't have gotten anything done. He was very patient with me.
