The business model has clearly shifted toward greed over customer retention. I called for a simple pruning estimate--a job they've done for me in the past--and was told it would now cost $250 just for the estimate. While they claim they'll credit it back if you hire them, it feels like a transparent attempt to trap customers or gouge those who aren't looking for a massive tree removal. It's clear they are now only interested in high-ticket jobs and have zero regard for the loyalty of long-term local clients. If you're looking for a fair arborist in Santa Rosa who values returning customers, look elsewhere. I won't be calling them again.
