Erick Barragan and his crew cleaned up this 75+ year old cedar tree that came with the house. Branches had grown over the roof and were hanging over two neighbors backyards. Beautiful tree but so so messy. He showed up on time and confirmed what we had already discussed during the meeting for his price quote. He had his men carefully climb the tree since we did not have access for large mechanical equipment to be used in the backyard and they removed all the dead and overgrown branches. He has an amazing chipper that ground up all the limbs and branches and made the job go faster. He found a 12 inch diameter branch that was 80% split through that we had not seen and would have potentially fallen this winter! He had us look at the trimmed tree to confirm it was to our satisfaction, then had his guys do an amazing clean up job. Branches and needles from our roof, the neighboring yards and even debris that had fallen before he started his job. His price was competitive. He is fully licensed and insured and I had done work with his father, Jesus, six years ago that I was also very satisfied with. I really appreciated their knowledge of trees - telling me that this wasn't the right time of year to trim firs for example - who knew?' We hired Jesus and his crew after calling several other services and not getting call backs. Jesus answered the phone, set an appointment, came on time. He quickly demonstrated his tree knowledge and sought to understand our goals. They arrive bright and early on the morning of the service and quickly got to work. His team was polite, professional, and did a great job. Jesus does most of the cutting (particularly on the major works). His son also did some trimming, removal, etc. They left us firewood. I called Jesus Barragan to trim and prune 1/2 acre of mostly oak trees. A day after Jesus finished, my landscaper arrived to do some work, looked around, and said, "What a beautiful job".
