Bed bug we found on my sister

(accidently posted to the wrong Legacy the first time, this is updated for the Reno location, we stayed in Reno) There are bed bugs here. We found them in both rooms that we have booked. We really hoped that we were wrong because, yuck, but these are definitely bed bugs. Yes it's cheap. But that's what you get. Unless you don't mind being home some extra critter, don't stay here. Now we are calling to get our money back and book somewhere else.

This place is straight disgusting walls and carpet are filthy A/C does not work furniture from the 70's It was 85 degrees in the room all night. So uncomfortable.

My biggest complaint was how LOUD the motor of the air conditioner was I filmed it while it was on and showed the front desk personnel who agreed it was loud and told me maintenance would be in to fix it. I don't know how or if they did because we were away from our hotel room morning and early afternoon. When we returned the motor was still loud but not enough to have the motor run quietly. From this day on I had anxiety going to sleep each night because of the motor but it was either sleep in uncomfortable overnight temperatures from the day or try to sleep and mentally down out the noise of the air conditioner. I was offered a floor fan which I thought was tacky. The utter disappointment of not being offered another room or refund for the first night or something to counteract the loud air conditioner and sleepless nights. The hotel itself is going through renovations. I will say this, Revamp the entire building because it reeks of cigarette smoke in and around the building despite having the No Smoking signs. Unless you're there to Gamble, no problem. Otherwise, No.

Keep looking, after coming here for years, it just keep getting worse, it seems they don't maintain anything. The people are really nice, the place has unfinished paint in the rooms, AC that doesn't work right, toilets that run, sadly, it seems to be failing

This is an older property that's mostly a time share resort. This hotel is NOT non-smoking, take note of this for those who don't want to smell a lot of smoke. There's 1 building for smokers and 1 building that they tried to keep for just non-smokers, but it's not totally smoke-free (you can still smell the smoke, the air circulates throughout the complex). Our room was ok, it's been updated some, with granite counters in the kitchenette (with an ancient mini electric stove) and bathroom, but there's still the popcorn ceiling in the main part of the room. The shower was TINY but usable. The AC was cold enough, but the air filters you could see were filthy dirty and the air intake was BLACK as night, so gross. The queen bed is more like a double, but was comfortable enough. Thankfully, we didn't experience bed bugs. Also, it's totally true what others said about the floor, it's FILTHY, both the tile and the carpet inside the room. They must never or almost never vacuum and steam clean the carpet nor mop the tile floors, so bring slippers and wear them. My kids (like all kids) like to run barefoot and their feet were black after only a few minutes. Yuck! The mini golf course is a joke, (like a super tiny it was made out of pieces of wood and not like the ones you would see at a mini golf course/water park type amusement parks) was literally falling apart. The rest of the room was ok, but the sofa bed was TERRIBLE, the mattress of the sofa fold out bed was sooo thin, you could feel every spring. Even my kids had a hard time sleep on it and they're light. They've remodeled some areas like the business center (printer did not work at all, wouldn't print as it seemed to have had a hard time receiving the data from the PC to print even a small document), and the play/game room, but the swimming pool was older and had sooo much chlorine in it and even in the heat of summer, b/c it's an indoors pool, it was still super cold, really almost too cold to swim in. The sauna was tiny, but ok for a few people unless you want to be packed in like sardines. The gym was small, and had older machines, but it was clean. Parking can be tight but we didn't have any probs finding a spot. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful, but not all (read on). Overall, this place was more like a Days Inn or Best Western at best and really more like a Days Inn... Also READ THE FINE PRINTS at check in, there's a $4.99 "green" eco fee to "support their efforts to be more environmentally friendly." Sure. And then I was surprised by a $5.99 per night fee charged onto my credit card the day before we checked out that was NOT disclosed at the time of our booking through hotels.com. So I called and Ashley put me on hold each time and said she was checking people in and when I called back later she said she was checking people out. She said she left a message on my phone but there was no record of it on my Google voice number which is set to record all voicemails and transcribe them. And then she claims that she knows for sure I was informed of the resort fee at the time of booking. Not true. I ended up getting a credit from hotels.com for a future booking b/c they verified that indeed nowhere was I told this place has a resort fee... She was also quite rude when I asked about that fee. Not coming back, it's definitely not a "resort." Thank God we had an ok time there at the time.

The security guard at night was super creepy. We felt stalked. We reported him. The manager seemed like she cared but we got no compensation. Also the BBQ grilles that are promised had no propane and we had to wait to get the propane filled to cook Birthday dinner. To top it off the carpets are disgusting and the creepy security guard looked in everyone's windows. Meanwhile a dirty diaper was outside our sliding porch window. The only window.

Somebody may have be lightly murdered here.

Ah, the old bait and switch. A classic! What you do is reserve a room with two beds and one pullout couch for that heavy snorer in the group that drew the short straw, and you instead get the surprise of TWO orangy  pullout couches and one bed, while the short straw chuckles maniacally to themselves. Now, this is not even an option on the booking site, so it was nice that they upgraded us to this secret suite. After admiring our double pumpkin pullouts, we went out for dinner and drinks in Dirty Vegas, a beautiful smoke filled utopia of impatient buffet patrons, chain smokers, broke brokers, and wasted thrice remarried couples. But how to describe the casino atmosphere...Take Los Angeles on the worst day, put all that smog, exhaust, and self loathing indoors, and you've got a recipe for the next hit Yankee Candle. We returned around 1am to make up our double davenports only to discover we had no blankets, no pillows, and no sheets. Probably all a clever ploy to make the next hit internet video, 5 girls, one bed. The gals were not too keen on the idea so we went down to find a staff member. They were no where to be found, probably off sleeping in some awful CA King beds, so we took some pool towels to make due. Still not quite enough coverage for our terrific trundles,  we called asking for help and eventually got a hold of a genuinely nice security guard who found us a couple sets. The room was very cold that first night and sadly, the brillo pad-like blankets didn't quite do the job either. Unable to get heat in the room, we just had to put on a few layers of clothes. See gals?! We DID end up going glamping after all! Now, one of the biggest mistakes hotels make is providing a sturdy supportive mattress with a soft pillow top cover. Plush garbage! What you need is a thin, hammock-like therapeutic mattress where you really get to experience every supportive spring jutting into your lumbar, pelvis, and scapulas, each spring big enough to hit at least four or five ribs simultaneously. After our first night of roughing it in the wild indoors, we decided take preventative action against the icicles that formed around our nostrils by asking for a couple additional blankets. We were told that there were not enough for the "other guests", which was totally my fault because when making the reservation, I never checked 'Yes' to the last question on the questionnaire, "Would you like to be considered as one of our 'Other Guests'?" After a modest amount of begging, we scored a couple more brillo-blankies. No sweatpants over cocktail dresses tonight! By this point in the day, our keys had stopped working, so we brought them all down to get the latest software update. A sharp listener might have caught the staff mentioning a different room number than the one we were currently in, a room 4... something, leading us to believe they had indeed switched us to a more awesome room, room 101, modeled after the greatest freeway in Los Angeles. Not the fault of the hotel, but for about two or three hours that second night, someone continually moved all the furniture around in the room above us, the moan of wood on wood cutting through the night like elephant seal in heat. It nice to see someone really take the time to efficiently feng shui their temporary living space while providing the people below them a new age sound track. And the acoustics we're bang on! But the thing that finally caused us pause that second night was the various fluids we noticed on the couches, a pillow, and a pillow case. Some of it was definitely blood, which is understandable. Heck, I'm full of the stuff! But most of it was completely unknown. A giant brown stain soaked through one of the fun foldouts. I'm all for conservation, but 20 years after a murder took place in your bed, it's time to retire the ol' gal. Man, if those walls could talk... The freezer smelled exactly like the casino floors, which you had to admit was a clever way for previous guests to break the no smoking rule in the room, as well as stay cool during the summer. Some of the outlets didn't work, which was fine. Less indoor light pollution. We eventually heard back from management and recieved a refund for a few of our inconveniences. They also conveyed their deep concern in relaying these stain problems to the third party responsible for cleaning their linens. Go get that third party! That one pillow case with blood on it definitely is a deeper concern than the fantastic futons from 1544, the piss/murder bed, lack of linens and pillows, and the frozen cancer box. Get those bastards! So what is my review? We'll, if you're a sensible person who values their health and comfort, try the sidewalk right outside the building, just to the left of the human turds. If, however you are a struggling comedian and looking for about 15-20 minutes of material, then this place is a freaking gold mine. Just make sure you bring a hazmat suit, as the resort no longer provides them for their guests.

    Chair rips

The sheets on bed had a couple of holes the chairs were slightly rip. The worst part was the musty odor from the shower curtain and hair that was on the shower head. I have a receipt that shows that taxes and fees were paid for. We asked for the shower curtain to be exchanged when we got back shower curtain was not n a chair. We're we expected to change it?

Worst. Hotel. Ever. Checked into our room and found worn furniture in desperate need of replacement, and a toilet full and clogged from the previous guest. When we were transferred to a different room, this one was equally worn and the shower had shampoo splashed down the side of it. Housekeeping didn't even cover the very basics. The pull-out couch mattress was ripped. The "heating" system was a portable window unit on wheels. Good thing we brought ear plugs. I wasn't expecting the Ritz....but I expect clean and functional at the very least. This place missed the mark by a mile. NEVER AGAIN.

This hotel is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at it should not be considered as a Resort it should be considered as a motel $142 a night no parking rude customer service bathroom falling apart hot water only worked 32 inch TV that didn't have cable only a DVD definitely would not go back to this place I don't think should be considers a resort. You can hear people a whole conversation next door to you the air stayed on no matter taking it turning it off nothing it's stayed on 24 hours a day in the snow it's already cold only two handicap parking on the lots not enough parking just all-around horrible experience never never go there ever again
