Crooked attorney, I have had so much spam and mail sent to my home address regarding any fire that happens in LA, since the Eaton Fires my mailbox has been completely spammed by their ads. I had spoke with 4 different reps confirming "they will let their managers know to stop mailing" thru out the years but they continue to send spam. I retained Legal Corner to assist with multiple legal matters. Most of my experiences within the firm were positive, particularly with attorney Arthur, who was professional, respectful, responsive, and handled my matters appropriately. Unfortunately, my experience with Judith Jeremie and Josh was the opposite. I repeatedly experienced interruptions, unanswered questions, difficulty obtaining basic information, and a refusal to provide meaningful supervisory review when concerns were raised. When I requested a different attorney on a single matter, rather than addressing the issue professionally, unrelated matters were impacted, creating unnecessary confusion and stress. What was most frustrating was that I was not asking to terminate representation. I was simply requesting that one attorney be replaced on one matter. Instead of receiving a straightforward resolution, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The firm should review how client concerns are handled, how requests for supervisory review are addressed, and how attorney reassignments are managed. Clients should not feel punished or retaliated against for requesting different counsel. Arthur was excellent, which is why I believe these issues are related to specific individuals rather than the firm as a whole. I work for a business that these people KEEP calling. The people who call are unprofessional and seem to have no concept of what they are doing or requesting. They say they are reading notes of conversations we had and then say nothing that was said. They KEEP calling and SAY they are helping their clients, but in fact, they seem to be a SCAM! Incompetent. A 50% contingent fee is ridiculous especially when you yourself has done all of the work as far as the discovery, investigation etc. it doesn't make sense to charge that kind of plaintiff 50% when you literally have to do nothing but go into court and fight a low risk case with flam dunk evidence. I am so sad and frustrated with this law firm, and I think these reviews are fake,because they took my case in late 2024 through lawyer Nick. Shortly after, he told me he already had a no-negotiation offer of $10,000. Shortly after, they sent documents for me to sign, saying I would only receive $4,500. Up to that point, everything was fine. Shortly after, I was detained by immigration. I had my husband inform them of my situation. In response, they said they would contact me or send a letter to the detention center where I was being held. They never did. When my husband called them again, they said they wouldn't give any information because he wasn't the owner of the case. I was in prison for 11 months, and in the end, they deported me to my country here in Africa. When I got out, I contacted them, and they told me my case was closed and that they had already sent my check. I wanted to know how I could send a check knowing that I still had to decide whether I wanted a direct deposit or a check. And when I ask questions, they transfer my calls to Vanessa Salas, who yells at me like a child, and other times they ignore me until my credit runs out. I feel exhausted and don't know what to do because all I want is to know if the check was actually made and sent, to track the check, and if someone took it, a legal order has to happen, but nothing has. Vanessa threatens me, as if I hadn't informed them about my situation. And as if that weren't enough, I don't believe they sent that check to my address, and I think that knowing I was detained, they took advantage of the situation and don't want to give me the money. They are inhumane. How can they take money from someone in need? Knowing that during the case I spent days unable to work because I was sick, and the fact that I was deported makes my vulnerability even worse, I question where the justice is? I feel abused, discriminated, threatened, and taken advantage of because I don't know who else can help me, even if they are lawyers. What you did to me was very inhumane, and I need this money. I won't let it go like this. Because I have nothing to start my life, the money is already mine, I am not asking for you to give it to me, I was injured at work. There is a God who sees everything and punishes acts of injustice and violence, especially for people who deal with laws like you. Please, I need my money, and I will never recommend anyone to you after everything you did to me.
