It is a sunny morning and I come here for breakfast with my wife. This bakery cafe is not too far…read morefrom our home and we have been here a few times before. Now they open Mon - Sat 8 am - 4 pm which is better. This is a very welcoming cafe. Every time we enter the cafe we are warmly welcomed by the owner or the staff members. To me this is really a +1 star as I believe business owners should connect with customers so they know better what the customers want relationship building is important to local business. We ordered the Daisy dogs and Mozzarella twist. They are freshly made and baked in the kitchen. Texture and taste are natural and yummy. Coffee is undoubtedly in good quality. The vibes is good. The ambient music not too loud and the light condition is perfect. I'd definitely recommend this bakery cafe and visit again more often.

Fully expected to see more than presented, our biggest surprise was how expensive their baked goods are for the size. Compared to Michele's Cake Shop or Cafe Artigiano, it was underwhelming and overpriced. There were a handful of small tables available, the shop was virtually empty. We did not find anything suitable to eat so we decided not to stay. I can't comment about the coffee quality but I think they need to reconsider the prices and selection if they want to build a loyal following.

What a delightful find! Elysees Cafe, nestled within the Alliance Française Vancouver on Cambie…read moreStreet, is a beautiful, open space that clearly prioritizes creativity and innovation. Opened in 2024, it perfectly embodies what a modern cafe should be, offering a unique blend of handcrafted coffee and pastries with French and Mexican flavors, all presented with an artistic vision. I enjoyed a pleasant 20-minute walk from home to the cafe for lunch on a beautiful day. Arriving around 11:45 AM, the place was bustling! I weaved through busy patio tables to reach the counter inside. The staff, despite the lunch hour rush, were wonderfully efficient and friendly. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and their hearty Bowl de Provence--a delicious salad featuring farro, egg, and potato. I seemed to be in the mood for all things green that day! On my way out, I grabbed a croissant to-go, which made for a perfect snack during my walk home. While I can't speak to the parking situation firsthand, I did notice street parking available on Cambie, as well as potential free street parking in nearby residential areas (just be mindful of permit restrictions). I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their enticing food options and specialty coffees or teas!

I was biking nearby and decided to stop by to grab something to drink on a warm summers day. I got…read morethe yuzu matcha drink and found it was more like a matcha latte. The yuzu was difficult to taste as it was mostly stuck at the bottom despite multiple attempts to mix it. The matcha was good but wish it had a stronger taste. Lots of seating area both inside and outside which makes for a perfect hang out spot for the summer.
