No wifi :( Came here for a remote work day and was sad to learn that there was no wifi. Aside from that, the menu and food is decent. I tried the Sasquatch sandwich which was alright, but I would have preferred any other cheese than American. Coffee selection is limited to one type of drip coffee. Fresh and unique. So delicious! Cute place. Friendly staff. The sandwiches were quite big and price is right.

Well just a few things to note about Lexington. Due to the actions of another restaurant in Lexington we try to avoid eating there. Politics should not be part of the dining experience. We found Legendary Eats on Yelp and decided to try them after reading the reviews and due to the fact they offer outside dining. When we entered we first noticed the cleanliness and then a wide selection of mostly sandwiches on the menu. We both ordered the El Cuco which is basically a Cuban sandwich. It was excellent and under $10. We will definitely return when we come back to the DC area. read more

Stopped in for lunch before heading West, and it was awesome! I had the Nessie and my husband had the Leroy Jenkins and they were both very good!! Love grabbing a sandwich from the spot whenever I am in town. I have had the Balrog and Jackalope. Both were excellent. The Jackalope was somewhat sweet with the fig jam. The prosciutto was alright and if you enjoy prosciutto you will love this sandwich. I was more of a fan of the Balrog which is their take on a cheese steak. I felt kind of bad being a know-it-all I pointed out that Garuda is a Hindu god associated with Indonesia and the Sandwich is basically a Vietnamese Banh Mi. After reading all the five star reviews, I had really high expectations. The lunch menu looked great! Sadly, we were too early and had to settle for breakfast.. My husband ordered The Sasquatch. He said it was really good. My daughter got a jelly bagel, my son got a sausage egg and cheese bagel, and I got a sausage egg bagel. I was charged extra for going no yolk. Our bagels were okay, nothing 'legendary'. For our food, three bottled drinks and a coffee it was over $35! Also, the cashier seemed angry, like she hated her job. The chef was nice though. Stopped in for a quick lunch, got one of their sandwiches, the flavor was complex, great ratio of meat to other ingredients, 2 thumbs up.

Italian Sub is amazing. It will taste great. It will fill you up! Nice quiet seating. Restaurant is near W&L.

I was going back and forth whether to give 4 or 5 stars. I very seldom give 5 especially if I've only been once. Ultimately I went with 5 and will adjust for future visits IF necessary. I almost always go with an Italian sub on my first visit and the sandwich I judge delis on. First, it's HUGE! This is definitely multiple meals and great bang for your buck. The quality of meat was top notch and changes I would make are adding pepperocini and like to see is a toasted option. Now that I know this place is legit and aptly named, I can't wait to try another sandwich and wish I had come here earlier in my visit. When surveying local business owners about a great place for takeout lunch, Legendary Eats came up every single time. Had two great experiences- and sandwiches- with Legendary Eats. The Jersey Devil was literally two meals so remember that when ordering- awesome Italian variation. I called the second time and asked for a recommendation for "roadworthy" sandwich as I had to dash to the airport; Mariah took the time to walk through some choices with me. The Moth-man totally fit the bill, and was such a great variation on the grilled cheese. Legendary Eats is an awesome addition to Lexington! Will always visit when in town. read more

We were passing by Lexington on a road trip and trying to figure out a non-fast food option for lunch. This sandwich shop fit the bill. I called in our order while we were on the road and the man on the phone was very nice and promised they wouldn't start making our sandwich for a few minutes, since we were still 15 min away. When I ran in to pick it up, he was on the phone with another customer who had a LOT of questions. I waited several minutes just to grab my sandwich, which wasn't his fault, but there were two other employees in the back that it seemed like could have helped me. But, it wasn't a huge deal. The sandwich was their Italian sub (I can't remember what they call it) and it was STUFFED full of meat and other fixings. I could barely take a bite! LOL! It was pretty tasty, felt like it was missing something in flavor but I couldn't decide what it was...maybe picked peppers? If you like a lot of meat on your sub, this is your sandwich! This restaurant is brand spanking new and after waiting patiently, it's finally open! I went in on their third day of opening and the place was busy and bustling. They've named all of their items after mythical creatures and have artwork on the walls depicting some, it's a cool concept! It was super hard to decide what to go with, but I tried the Garuda, which is a Banh Mi sandwich, and it was so good, I was sad when it was gone. Great portion sizes, great place. Ate here with my daughter in October. I got the prosciutto with mozzarella on a delicious roll that was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, delicious, and my daughter got the portobello mushroom sandwich but we realized after it had already been brought to our table that it contained an aïoli dressing which my daughter could not eat because she's allergic to eggs. I was so impressed with this place because the chef insisted on remaking the sandwich for her even though it was my fault for not checking the ingredients ahead of time.
