    Enjoying Lexington, VA.

Pasties wonderful. Friendly staff. Relaxing place to be. Thanks. Service was good, the Americano very good!

    Cinnamon roll and Latte

This place was super yummy! We tried a latte, iced coffee, cinnamon roll, and chocolate croissant. I loved the cinnamon roll so much, I had to buy a second before we left! It's pretty affordable with our total being less than $20! The vibe was a little questionable and we felt judged for being in our pajamas, but we were able to get past that because the pastries were so yummy.

Iced lavender oatmilk matcha, very very good!

I went to Italy last year, and this cute shop made me reminisce on some fun memories while enjoying a delicious iced lavender oatmilk matcha. The service was super fast and kind! They have lots of variety for every customer.

What a great cup of coffee. I was on my way home from NC back to central VA and wanted a good cup of coffee before I made it back to Richmond. I found Prontos online and thought it would be a great place to stop. I got a vanilla latte with oat milk and a croissant and it was around $9. More than I would want to spend at Starbucks, but for a great coffee - it was worth it. The staff were nice and the inside was clean. There was only one open table insides but I decided to sit outside and enjoy the cutest Main Street. I'll be back in the area at the end of August and I can't wait to get a cup of coffee here again! If I lived in the area I would come here all the time.

Ended up here twice and enjoyed my "Cremespresso" (honestly could get that pumped through my veins) and their strawberry cheesecake gelato later that afternoon.

Such a cute little coffee shop! We stopped here during a road trip and really enjoyed their friendly service and coffee. We also ordered a sandwich which was okay, but like nothing to write home about. They don't have a lot of seating, about 3-4 tables inside, so not a ton of seating options especially for a larger party--more of a grab and go spot. Masks are currently required for everyone regardless of vaccination status.

This place is fantastic at both gelato and coffee. Friendly staff, very clean, 4-5 tables to sit at, wifi. Definitely a must-go.

I was hungry and not in the mood to move my vehicle from the hotel parking lot as street parking in Lexington can be a challenge. I arrived at about 9AM and the only other customers were 2 college age girls who never exchanged a word with the other since they were on their phones. I ordered a Hillel and a large coffee. The only available creamer was pumpkin spice which I'd never had in my life. What is a Hillel you ask? It was salmon, caper, onion, and cream cheese in a bagel for about 10 bucks, however either it was tasty or I was starving and would have enjoyed a spam sandwich. The college aged staff were reasonably friendly, accommodating, and my order was ready in a jiffy. The cafe is located on the campus of Washington & Lee University whose current president has a left-leaning agenda for its students. Not a bad deal for a quick meal if you're hungry. The portions aren't huge, but probably more in line with quantities more conducive to health, and prices are somewhat high. PS I don't like pumpkin -spiced coffee

I have visited this restaurant several times over the years and never expected exceptional service…read more Really only ever the bare minimum. Unfortunately, even that appears to be too much to ask. On my most recent visit, I arrived alone and took an open seat at the bar, which seemed like the obvious choice for a solo diner. I immediately noticed food from a completely different fast-food restaurant scattered across part of the counter. Since it was on the employee side of the bar and both employees were standing behind it, I reasonably assumed they were eating between tasks. In fact, one employee was actively eating from the food while on the clock. While unprofessional, I chose to overlook it. What I could not overlook was the behavior of the employee I later learned was named Betty. Rather than greeting me or taking my order, Betty decided to make comments about my choice of seating to the other patrons sitting at the bar. Instead of speaking to me directly, she chose to publicly imply that I had done something wrong by sitting in an open seat clearly intended for customers. When I asked whether she was referring to me, she confronted me and explained that it should have been "obvious" that the area occupied by their fast-food meal was reserved for the employees. Let that sink in: an employee eating food from another restaurant behind the counter felt entitled to publicly criticize a paying customer for sitting at a customer seat because it interfered with her personal breakfast. The entire interaction was embarrassing, unprofessional, and incredibly disrespectful. The issue wasn't the food. It wasn't the seat. It was the astonishing sense of entitlement and complete lack of customer service displayed by someone whose job is to provide hospitality. If employees want designated dining areas, management should provide them. What should never happen is a customer being publicly singled out and treated like an inconvenience for using a seat intended for patrons. Needless to say, I left without ordering. I will not be returning, and I will be sharing this experience with others. Poor service is one thing. Being openly mocked and confronted for sitting in an available customer seat is another level entirely. This restaurant already struggled with mediocre service. After this experience, it has earned something far worse: a reputation for making customers feel unwelcome.

Had a few cars out front so we thought that was a good sign. We sat ourselves. I got the special of the day and my husband got turkey sandwich. Ordering was interesting the server was abrupt. I laughed after she walked off because she was so sassy to my husband. He was asking her what came on the sandwich and she just kept repeating you tell me. This restaurant needs to be cleaned. Everything from the front door to the restrooms. The carpet is not cleanable. They need to replace the foot all together. We had met 10 bikers at the restaurant that was closed and a couple of them were sitting at a table right next to ours. They were not impressed with anything at this restaurant either. In fact when the one biker got his food he turned to me and said "does this look like a hamburger to you?" I will not be recommending this restaurant but I will have to say. Our server was really determined to keep our drinks filled. She literally took it from my hand without asking and filled it. I just laughed a little awkwardly. She grabbed one of the biker guys glass. He said HEY really loud. She was already halfway across the room and she responded "I will be right back" My special was not great but edible and my husband said his sandwich was ok and we were super happy our entire meals with endless drinks was 11 dollars total. I have to say their prices are great. If they made a few improvements they would be better

I don't mind scuffed up tables and cracked vinyl chairs, but I draw the line at actual dirt smudges on the wall. Even though I ordered pie from a case (definitely not home made) the only thing we ordered that came was the chocolate milk. Two stars since the waitress was understanding when we left and didn't charge us for the milk. Avoid.
