I am a patron who loves to gamble and frequent PNW casino resorts. I have a higher tier players club status at most, but this was my first time at Legends. While I write this review, I'll try to keep in mind the price to stay overnight at Legends was $99 compared to other beautiful casino resorts which start over $199. With that said, Legends has a great pool facility, with a mini water park feel, including a lazy river and slides. That is the highlight of the visit. The casino and the rooms were disappointing. Service at check-in and the players clubs was decent. But nothing personable or worth remembering. Just service without a smile. I played over $1,000 into 8-12 slot machines, and it only went down. Never did I get into a bonus, or feel like I was winning for a moment. This is a huge deal to me. I understand win vs loss, but I at least want to feel the thrill. Machines were tight, as well as QUIET and sticky. Back up at the room before 9pm, (soooo early and bummed), I took a shower. I was so itchy after the shower. The bathroom felt sooo dirty. The steam made the bathroom and room smell like mildew when wet. That is how i know it is very outdated, needing a major deep cleaning and updating. Might give Legends casino floor a second chance when in Yakima, but have zero desire to stay overnight again. read more

The Hotel part of the resort is nice. It has reasonable rates and nice, updated, clear rooms. The casino part of the property is very dated and just a depressing atmosphere. It's dark and dingy and the staff isn't very friendly or even welcoming. This is consistent over the entire property and over a few visits over years of time. If you need a nice, clean and decently priced place to stay while you're driving through or staying in the area, it's an option, but just don't expect friendly service or anything but a dingy casino with just okay food at just okay prices that's populated by staff that's doesn't seem like they enjoy being in the hospitality business at all. To the management, you have a beautiful facility on the hotel side of the property! Why not match your beautiful property with the level of service and hospitality that the property deserves? It's consistently horrible and unpleasant service. There's consistent apathy, laziness and a clear lack of giving a dang about the guest's experience. This is not how to run a business. It's constant excuses and the same poor service and attitudes every single time we've given your property a chance. Sadly, we probably won't return and wouldn't reccomend staying here to anyone reading this. read more

i liked that it was smoke & alcohol free. the front entrance was closed for construction so we had to park far away from the hotel. there should be parking for hotel guests only. i was not impressed by the room cleanliness. some popcorn bit close to bed & torn bed sheet & hair in the shower caught up by the dragging curtain. for the price, meh. read more

Booked a 2 bedroom suite. It was NOT a 2 bedroom. It was 1 bedroom with a living room. They provided me a roll out bed which was too small for any adult and stated they would waive the fee for the roll out bed, as if that made up for the false advertisement of a 2 bedroom (At first, the staff Alyssa, was going to charge me for it until I stated that would be ridiculous. She stated that would be her only accommodation to make up for the missing bedroom). The couch and chairs were filthy. The toilet would not stop running, even after they supposedly fixed it. There were dirty fingerprint marks on the bathroom door and gouges in the door. The floor was filthy. I reported my issues to the staff and spent hours wasting/hanging in the hotel waiting on the director (Lisa Ortloff) to contact me (from 10am to 6pm). I was told by her staff all day that she would call me, that she was supposedly in meetings. Until my final call to them, I was told she went home for the day and never contacted me!! Customer Service Experience and the Room experience was just HORRIBLE! Worst stay ever. Do Not Recommend!!! read more

Heard about the Thursday night seafood Buffet so I had to check it out. Paid $49.00 to get in, not bad. Got plate and looked around, the selection was actually fitting for the price. I tried the crab legs, "Cajun" shrimp, plain shrimp, butterfly shrimp, mussels and asparagus. It wasn't too bad. There really want to many other items that looked enticing to me. Manager of gift shop is rigid . I bought a ring that was broken . She refused to refund my money. It took the very nice director of the casino to refund my purchase of the defective ring. For only a few dollars more, I ended up having a suite for the night. A big beautiful room, very clean. Casino was clean and I ended up winning a little cash so that was fun. The coffee shop was nice. Went there in the morning. The only downsized was the restaurant that was sort of hit and miss but you can't have everything perfect. Rooms are nice but the customer service is not. We have been waiting currently for 1.5 hours past check in. Our room still isn't ready. I have never been to a casino that was so disrespectful.. if I could give 0 stars, I would. My fiancé and I love to play blackjack, I get it was a Saturday night and we both know that any casinos may be packed. All the players were playing and speaking Spanish, and if you play blackjack you know you hit 14 against a 10. The players started speaking Spanish with the dealer and I've never felt like the game was rigged so much. The dealer took a quick look at the card and said something in Spanish to the player, the player then stood on a 14. This player hit 14, 15 and 16 against 8 and 9s.. but not a 10?? What??? I'm still so dumbfounded about that logic. But the dealer ALWAYS looked at the card before the player made his "decision" as to hit or stay. EVERYONE knows when a dealer is showing a 10, you have to hit. I'm just so disappointed that this was our first time here and it was so rigged, and I can guarantee we will never be coming back there again. We were also playing free bet and tell me why the dealer pulled 2 10s and then 2 aces. That's a dealer push... the dealer was confused that it was a soft 22???? That made no sense. Either they're hiring people that have absolutely no idea what they're doing or they're hiring people to help rig the games. I love casinos but I truly NEVER want to come back again. It's not Vegas but this place is actually pretty cool. It's on a dry reservation so there's no alcohol and the property is smoke free (not smelling like an ashtray at the end of the night is a plus). Fairly cheap but decent food and a nice hotel. Only reason it doesn't get five stars is because the surrounding area is a little rough (lots of poverty) but hopefully the casino can help change that. read more

By far the most rude staff....never friendly, always too busy to help people. Even though "busy" is shuffling their feet ignoring players whose machine has errored, etc. Machines are tight! You'll see maybe 1 jackpot per visit. Never the hustle of workers like at wildhorse or snoqualmie with workers paying out jackpots. Food court is all microwaved food. Nothing actually cooked with the exception of the crab boil. Literally the only thing that deserves an honorable mention. Beer/Alcohol not allowed here....well because.... if you know the area, you know. This also makes for their concerts to be under sold and often canceled. Rooms are decent but only because hotel is fairly new and Literally nobody stays here. Also the parking lot is very worrisome. People have been mugged walking to their cars. Usually only 1 sec van patrolling at a time. And last time I asked for an escort I was told they don't have parking security after 2am. Not smart when they are open 24hours on weekends. Oh, and never visit the last stall in the restrooms. You will often be solicited to for a few bucks.... sadly not joking. Overall...be careful. Dont expect to win anything, and don't expect a friendly fun atmosphere. read more

Checked in, stayed the night. Ok room. Standard. Until we were up in the morning, I wanted to open the curtain to get natural light. I went to the window, about to open and saw a BED BUG. I took a video and photos with time stamps. It was room 4029. When we left, the "person in charge" did not give us a receipt of our charges, gave us a 'valet manager' business card and told us to contact him about it for "appeasement." Really, the valet manager. The one who parks cars? We came back to speak with another worker and he assisted with us and gave more information and a proper business card to contact. This is the first and most likely last time I will stay here. My review is purely in regards to the hotel and not the gambling section as I didn't spend any time or money there. We were supposed to have been checked in at 3 pm and after one of us waited in line for an hour they informed us that our room wasn't ready. It wasn't until about 5:30 that we got to our room. "The Huckleberry Suite." I understand occasionally things get behind, but um, doesn't everyone have a phone now? They could have at least even texted us to give us an eta. Nothing. I am not a 'world traveler' so now I guess I know what a 'suite' really is. Meh. There were no blankets on the bed. After requesting 2 blankets (as I was going to be sleeping on the couch) at the front desk, an hour later they brought 1 blanket. We then had to go to the front desk again to request that other blanket. Waited an hour and had to call the front desk again. Finally they sent one up. If the impression they wanted to leave me with was "It's all about the Bejamin's" then, I guess they succeeded there. read more

It was fine but we got to the casino at 5pm and we were told our room wasn't ready yet. The housekeeping was "behind" and reception couldn't give us an estimate for when it would be ready. After being on the road for 5 hours we were ready to relax but weren't able to get into our room until 7:30pm. When we were told 3pm was check-in! The casino is dry so no alcohol allowed, but otherwise it was a decent time. Just don't expect to get into your room before 7pm lol. read more

I pre-reserved 2 adjoining rooms #6030 & #6032 for one night 7-15-23. Check-in time is 3pm. But when we arrived @4:30pm we were told our rooms were double-booked and given to "the band", that they were full... but would try to find us rooms "on the same floor". 45 min later (5:45pm) with no call back from reservations, I told them we would just drive on & that I expected NOT to be charged for rooms NOT provided. Well, you guessed it, the rooms were charged to the card I originally used to "reserve" the rooms. After being given the run-around by legends when I called to complain, I was told they would "compromise" by charging me for "only one of the rooms" because they were "working on getting us rooms". It is NOT acceptable that NO rooms were available late in the day, after bumping our reservations in favor of a VIP. Standing in the reservation desk line next to me were another couple that said the same thing happened to them. I believe that they make a practice of double booking like some airlines do, and leave you out of luck. I have the impression they don't care about their patrons, just the almighty dollar. We stayed the night this past weekend for the Jefferson Starship concert. First, we didn't realize it was a non-alcohol casino. That was a surprise but ok. Upon arrival we went into the casino. The first stop was to get the reward gambling cards. My husband and I were in line for some time. (Only one person at the desk). I left the line for a few minutes to go to the restroom. Upon returning was mortified. They had another person working so the line went fast. My husband just got to the front of the line. Both employees basically screamed at me. They told me I had cut in front of the line. I explained I was in line and yes, this is my husband. It was horrible. We received our cards but it tainted a bad picture as we had just arrived. The reason for the four star is because of that. The room was clean and nice. The food was good and reasonably priced. I just wished they didn't treat me like a criminal upon arrival. read more

We traveled from California and part of our group booked rooms here. We went to hang out with them and took some beer with us. As we entered the door the security guard asked my boyfriend for his ID I didn't know why as he does not look under age. Security guard started calling in his ID and not tell us wha was going on. When I asked what the problem was he kept calling the ID in and twirling on his chair and wasn't telling us anything. I insisted and asked what the problem was, he finally said there is no beer allowed here. I said "oh we didn't know that, no problem we will take it back to the car". He said nope, it's not allowed anywhere on the premises. I DID NOT KNOW THAT. I said okay then we will take it out and leave the premises. By then I was upset and raised my voice as he was not responding to me. Then he said "I don't need to talk to you". Then three other workers showed up and told me I didn't have to be rude. Well if he's not telling me what's going on I have the right to know why you are calling all your staff over. Other securities and management came over demanded my ID and I guess they ran it. Came back and said this was a warning for me as I was being rude. I was simply demanding my rights as a citizen. Anyhow, they ALLOWED us to stay and gave us our beer back. Why? It's not allowed. At that point I decided to leave as I felt I had been treated as a delinquent by security guards who we're probably bored. I checked their website and nowhere on there do they state alcohol is not allowed. When my friends booked the room it they gave the non-smoking policy but nothing about alcohol. I failed to check the entrance doors to see if there were any signs. I think that they should be more clear on their policies in the website for us travelers and not wait until one arrives to make a huge scene in front of their customers. We went there for the New Year Event. Prior to going called to speak to someone about it. The person working in the gift shop was pleasant and didn't seem to be annoyed that I called and had questions and I didn't feel that she was rushing to get me off the Phone. Once we arrived security I'm assuming was parked nearby. They were helpful in calling a lot attendant to come get us due to a handicap person with me. It didn't take long for the transport to get us. Once we got in. You can definitely tell there is smoking going on. If you are like me sensitive to it. You will probably start coughing immediately likeI did. When we got in line to enter their event center. The line moved fast. Was not expecting all the party stuff they gave us. The seating in there was set up to where there really isn't a bad seat. I liked how they left the center of the floor open for people who wanted to dance. Also the air was easier to breathe in that section. Probably because it my have it's own air handler and there is no smoking in the area. They do have restrooms and a concession area. They do make it walker and wheel chair assessable. There is not a designated area. We were able to find a table that was willing to share their space. read more

Covid is still impacting this business heavily. The buffet area is down and changed to a order at the hostess area, get seated and served at a table situation. The food was mediocre, but given the service style it was kind of expected. The server that we had was very nice, cheery and aimed to please. I suspect that many of the employees are new and inexperienced. Some are extremely nice and others are rude and dismissive. I used the valet service and David was my main guy. He was very professional, ran to get my car and made sure I was taken care of. There was an older gentleman that worked the alternate shift and he was very good as well. Our suite was huge and the built in fixtures (sinks, shower, tub) were great! The furniture in the room was not comfortable and very clunky. The bed was comfortable to me, but a bit too hard for my wife. The view of the mountain range in the horizon was very nice. The pricing was really good and made up for any of the minor issues. We enjoyed our stay and would return again. read more
