Under Aerofit's ownership, there were 8. Back in the day, before COVID and Trufit's intentional neglect, Longmire was crowded by young and old alike. Most of the treadmills have been replaced recently. It's time to replace the rest of the old equipment. It's not good for the Trufit brand to ignore the sad state of the equipment.

I initially experienced planet fitness as a guest of my daughter for a couple of weeks. I enjoyed the facilities so much that I joined! the access to equipment that works at all times, clean restrooms and friendly staff have been my favorite thing about my home location. The staff are always moving around the gym cleaning, checking to see that all guest are doing ok and making their presence available if needed. Mrs. Brenda always greets my husband and Me as well as all guest by name which makes our experience very personable and valued! I have even enjoyed all the new gym friends I have made! when I commit to anything itself for the long run! I'm a planet fitness lifer!

Cons - bring your wallet. $40 for a thirty minute lesson seems extreme. Our last lesson was with the facility manager, and no joke, he was on his phone for the majority of my niece's lesson. We were there on time, but our lesson started five minutes late as he was out in the main area talking with people. During our 25 minute lesson, he took two phone calls and checked his texts 7-8 times. So basically every 3-4 minutes he was on his phone. For $40 you think he could give us full attention for 30 minutes. Twice he said "good job" to my niece when she completed the action she was practicing - when he was looking at his phone and not even watching what she was doing. We had another lesson with a different instructor and he was super good. Focused on my niece the entire time. Actually gave her 45 minutes as when our lesson was up, he said he didn't have any more for the day, so he gave her some extra attention. A-plus for that due. Great facility. Some really great and friendly staff. And some great instructors. But if you are going to charge $40 for a thirty minute lesson, you should give that student a full 30 minute lesson.

It's obviously not the biggest, but it has just about everything you could need to get a great workout, whether you like cardio, powerlifting or anything in between. The staff at Snap takes a lot of pride in keeping the gym neat and spotless. Every time I'm in there, I see staff wiping down equipment, mirrors, windows, etc. Fresh, clean towels and wipes are also provided for members. They really value their clients and work hard to show it. One of the greatest keys to success in fitness is consistently showing up for exercise. The vibe at Snap is more enjoyable than the large gyms and I find myself wanting to go everyday. I'd highly encourage anyone considering gyms to give Snap a shot...and I hope you love it as much as I do!

The contract language says cancellation must be handled in person or by certified mail, and it is buried far into the 14 page agreement. It's ironic that they let you sign up easily online, but cancelling? That speaks volumes.... This may vary by location, so anyone signing up should ask for the cancellation terms in writing (and give yourself plenty of time to read it thoroughly) before agreeing to the membership. Also, keep proof of cancellation--either written confirmation from the gym or certified mail tracking. Be nice if they'd ditch the 1900's style customer service.

Although I've taken Jay's class before this one was structured differently. It was inspired by therapeutic yoga so at the beginning of class we talked about the purpose and class plan and started with breath work. It was a small group so they devoted more time to suggesting healthy recovery postures for my numerous athletic injuries. Jay and Donnalee are life long yoga practitioners dedicated to sharing their vast knowledge of yoga. I walked out feeling longer and lighter and was able to sleep soundly for an entire night without nagging back pain. I planned my entire trip around the class and I was so glad I made extra accommodations to be there at that exact time. Give this wonderful studio a try!
