For the past 10 years I've been going to Legends to enjoy the kick off of March madness aka, the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament. The food is always great as are the drinks! I love that it's a sports bar with plenty of TVs so you can watch all four basketball games at once. And it's a great environment. Unfortunately, every year I have to ask for them to change the TVs to the games. They always accommodate, however I wonder why they aren't tuned into the big sporting events that are happening. This is a decent spot to stop for a drink. I stay in a hotel in the area frequently so I've seen it at differing times throughout the day. I always sit at the bar. There is a decent amount of regulars who can fill it quickly, they're all fine and accommodating but if the bar is your thing get there early or late. The service is good or not so good depending on which bartender you get (they are always the same). The food doesn't appeal to me, I've tried the burgers a few times and they always are cooked more than I ask for and never seasoned. So I just opt for a few beers and grab dinner elsewhere. read more

I never do reviews! Partially because I forget, but today's visit to Legends Grille deserves one. Our server, Candice, was absolutely amazing. Let me start by saying we brought our 16 month old so it's always a 50/50 chance things could go south if she doesn't feel like sitting and eating. Candice was so welcoming, attentive, and honestly we couldn't find a single flaw with service or food. Even the kids portions are huge! And there's nothing that makes me happy like not having to make dinner because the leftovers are a plenty!! Also, I almost never crave wings but today I did and I'm SO happy we went here just to try it out. Very clean! And a modest but cute Christmas decor and seasonal drink menu. Came here with my family, and adults and kids were all very happy with the choice! Excellent food with reasonable prices. My husband and I shared the bbq wings which were excellent. My kids had Mac and cheese and pasta and were very content (and it's hard to please my kids), my husband had the Legend Burger with fries (amazing!!!), and I had the Cobb salad with honey mustard dressing- was perfect. We arrived as a two top on an early Thursday afternoon. The bar was starting to pick up due to March Madness, and we chose a booth. Enjoyed some Happy Hour full bar specials and Bavarian pretzel appetizers (hot and delicious). Dined on steak (perfectly cooked) and fries and buffalo chicken quesadilla. We just came back from a quick trip, coming off I95 and Legends was a better choice in deciding where we would go for 'National Cheeseburger Day'! They offered every burger on their menu, except the sliders, for $5.99 w/ a side. You had to buy a drink for the offer. Excellent grab for a table of 6. I couldn't get a good photo because we were starving and these perfectly cooked burgers with all of our requested toppings hit the spot. Our server Nicole was super sweet and very attentive. We stopped here on the way home 4 years ago at the the original location because it was listed as a "Steelers Bar" on the Steelers app. The food was great then and we were coming home the same way this time from the Richmond night race. The new restaurant is a superior upgrade from the old one. It is more centralized to hotels. Upon entry we were greeted by a 3 hostess/hosts which instantly saw our shirts and hats and gave us a booth that had a prime view of 4 games including our game. On to the food. The wings we ordered were cooked perfectly and the mild sauce had a nice taste and a little bite at the end. They didn't have celery (which our amazing server apologized time and again for. It was her first day). We both ordered burgers, and let me say these were some of the best I've had at a sports bar. So juicy and seasoned so well. They need to seriously make this their attraction. For dessert we split a cheesecake which was decent. The beer menu is small but they have a good cocktail menu. If your looking for a solid meal, or maybe just a great game day place this is it. The food was good, the service was good, my only issue with this establishment is the vaping that they allow. I'm eating dinner and the person at the table next to me is vaping in full view to the staff. It's cool. I went to the old location a few years ago and it was not memorable but at the new one, fair. My server was really personable, fast, and attentive but not annoying. I had the Voodoo Chicken based on a recommendation from a guy sitting near me and bourbon chipotle chicken wings bc my wife said their wings are good. The Voodoo chicken came with sausage and chicken over rice and peppers w toasted bread. It was ok. I was warned it spice but it wasn't bad at all. The food was good but could use a little more flavor but it was still good. I would try again. The wings, that's where it is at. Ordinary restaurant nothing too out of the woods. It does remind me very much of TGI Friday's. The food was alright. I had grilled hot wings and they were dry, small, and hot but not inedible. The chicken tenders were also a sign this place was ordinary as I am a firm believer that the chicken tenders define a restaurant. These particular tenders where less than ordinary as I could of gotten better at a Zaxby's, Popeyes, or even McDonalds. The service was alright, the atmosphere was bland. Traveling from CT we Could not beat that it was across the street from the Hampton ! Great happy hour and food specials on Monday ,Tuesday. Sweetheart got drumettes only of wings(his fav no matter where we go) Liked but not loved. I ordered the steak tips asking the waitress/bartender if tender, sent back to salty and did not let knife go through. Instead ordered the burger special and was happier. Okay this review might start off a little weird, it's not often that one of the memorable element of a restaurant is it's restrooms. Squeaky clean and smelling so fresh. Well it was just one of the elements of this establishment that will ensure my husband and I come back. At least 40 TV keeps the options open for the many sports being broadcast at any given time and they have this cool little speaker they bring to your table so you can hear the game BRILLIANT!!! The food was also excellent, definitely sports pub menu but well executed. Service was attentive without being disruptive to the game we were watching. Coming into Legends Grille, I knew exactly what kind of decor to expect and what kind of food to expect. Sports bars can generally be a great place to get a nice juicy burger and some greasy onion rings, fries or some wings. Of course, Legends has all of the above on their menu. My husband and I came in last Friday night. It started raining when we arrived, so we ran in quickly and were seated immediately. The general crowd was over 55 I'd say (we felt 'young' being in our mid 40's). This doesn't bother me at all, and actually was one of the few incentives to come back and try them again. The outside of Legends is very nice and the inside is decent, but a little disappointing. They weren't busy at all when we arrived, and it took some time for our waitress to finally make her way over to our table, but we were eventually able to order our usual water with lemon, a couple of unsweetened teas and we also requested an order of ' bacon cheese fries' for $6.99, which come with melted Colby Jack cheese and bacon and a side of ranch. She noted that they needed to brew more tea and that it would be about 10 minutes or so, and we said that would be okay. When the cheese fries came out, my husband and I both looked down at the small plate, and you could just hear the disappointing music in the background between the two of us...'womp womp womp' on the trombone. Let that play out in your head for a second. Okay, I am used to Chili's and other places bringing out cheese fries steaming hot on a sizzling skillet to our table, but here in front of us was a small white plate, that wasn't even hot, with some soggy fries laid out and some cheese that had sooo obviously been microwaved on top with bacon bits. And next to it was this tiny little condiment cup of Ranch, which we went through in no time (disappointing or not, we ate the fries because we were hungry!). When I asked for 2 more small cups of Ranch to finish off the fries, the waitress said she could bring us one more, but if I wanted 2 more, that we'd have to pay extra for the extra sauce!! Are you freakin kidding me? Pay extra for Ranch? No. Just no. This is not McDonald's. We are at a dine in restaurant. Sauces should be unlimited; at least within reason. Three small Ranch sauces for a plate of cheese fries, would not be unheard of. For our entree, we split the Bacon Cheddar burger for $10.49. It was good; not great. Generally at these types of establishments, I am expecting a thicker, juicer burger, but it was the thickness of a Whopper at best. We got it with sweet potato fries, which I think was an upgrade, and a huge mistake, because they were just awful. Should have maybe tried the onion rings instead. Despite my review, we may give this restaurant another try. We won't order the cheese fries or the sweet potato fries, but maybe the onion rings, some wings or loaded nachos. We want to like this place; we really do. But for now, I'd say, there are far better sports bars to choose from. read more

This was a nice treasure to happen upon! Stopped in for lunch because we were staying nearby. A couple of us got fish and chips. One of us got the burger and I got the fish sandwich! The onion rings we excellent too! Everyone was happy with their meal! The service was excellent! As a bonus u get 20% off your bill if u are a Vet! So since it was a rainy evening, and Legends was so close; we went back for takeout. We ordered some chicken wings and salad for dinner! The order was waiting for us and again everything was good! Decided to come here after painting some pottery around the corner. Upon arriving, it wasn't busy for lunch time on a Saturday which was nice. Waitress quickly came over and took our orders. We ordered the chicken dip which wasn't spicy, it had a good flavor overall. I tried the mango margarita which was delicious. Also, the grilled wings and a house salad.
