The food here is tasty. A bit on the greasy side, though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although the staff are friendly, it was pretty busy when I went.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a few tables and outside seating. Fairly comfortable place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food was great! The waffle fries......AMAZING!!! The burgers were delicious. I love the different types of burgers they have on the menu. I definitely will be going back soon.

The cheeseburger does not look that great but it is very tasty. The truffle and Cajun fries are very tasty but were a little soggy from being in the box. The staff was friendly. Mason Dixon Cafe owns this burger place which is iconic in Fredericksburg because it used to be Mr Dee's and burger place that was around for a very long time. Overall I like this place and will be back to try more.

So glad I was FINALLY able to visit Eats Burgers! This dive burger joint is a nostalgic 90s diner for us to experience today. Simple, affordable, and clean with a professional staff. Food is served hot & fresh. Great place for kids to sip on a soda & eat a burger.

About a 1-1.5: We stopped by Eats Burgers when we were in the area, excited to see a local burger place that also offers hot dogs, fried seafood, and desserts. We ordered: +the Eats Classic burger - this was a quarter pound of local beef used for the smashburger; came with American cheese, pickled red onions, lettuce, and tomatoes; we did request for the Eats sauce to be on the side, but they forgot it; I wasn't a fan of this, as I thought the patty was not seasoned, and the buns were a little off; the hubs enjoyed it, though! +a Chili Dog - this is usually served with a deep-fried all beef foot long dog, but you can make it 'battered & stuffed' (which, I did) at an upcharge; I was curious in how this would turn out, as I was thinking a corn dog type of a situation; it was more like a funnel cake batter, but it was super thick and dense, which made it unenjoyable; I also wasn't a fan of the type of hot dog they were used; this was topped with cheese sauce, sour cream, and jalapenos, but the guacamole and the pico were missing... +a Large Waffle Fries with Cheese Sauce for Dunking - the waffle fries were well-fried and crispy; the cheese sauce was okay; I felt that it had a heavy 'flour-like' taste to it Once you order, you pick it up from their Pick-Up Window (if you're sitting inside), or they bring your orders out to you if you happen to be sitting outside. The inside of the place was way too warm (not sure if it's from the kitchen or the blast of the heater?), so we went for outdoor seating. The place is super cute, as I love the teal blue-like and orange color combo, the burger statue that's out on their patio, and the super friendly staff! Plenty of parking in the two side lots they had. +friendly service +indoor and outdoor seating available +plenty of parking

The food is okay so I don't understand the hype. The Vic's burger is more expensive than the regular ones which doesn't make any sense to me. The sauces are good. I could taste the old oil in waffle fries and Brussel sprouts. This place isn't for me.

Tried to order three different beers, and every one of them was "not available today," which is restaurant talk for "the truck's late and so are we." Artie the bartender just gave this little shoulder shrug that said, "Partner, I don't make the rules, I just open the bottles." The place itself helped the afternoon along. The building is laid out so you can see just about everything from your stool: bar, tables, who's coming in the door, and whether your food is on its way. Sightlines were wide open, nothing cluttered or cramped, and the whole joint looked super clean, like somebody actually cares what it looks like before the crowd shows up. So we did what any sensible, thirsty people would do: picked two other beers, ordered some apps, and decided not to take life--or the tap list--too seriously. The beer we got was cold, the food was hot, and Artie turned out to be the kind of bartender you come back to see more than you come back for the menu. We'll be back, too. Lewis would've gotten a whole column out of that shrug. The food was excellent, too. The fish bites alone just about made the afternoon; if the beer list had completely fallen apart, we still would've called it a win on those.

Since learning that, we have made our own oyster tradition and seek to have them in January because it can't hurt! I saw that Port Oysteria was participating in FXBG restaurant week which is happening now and thought it was a great opportunity for us to try someplace new and get our oysters. While we did not order anything from the restaurant week specials (there was only one at lunch, and a couple more after 3pm) my wife and I did enjoy a nice lunch today. The chargrilled oysters were just right for us to share as a starter and very tasty. My wife had the fried oyster po-boy and I had the blackened grouper sandwich; both were delicious. The coleslaw was good as was the Parmesan mashed potatoes. There is a good beer selection on tap and an interesting cocktail list. Our first beer choice was out, but our backup choices were good. Service was good but the restaurant was not very busy. The atmosphere is interesting with moody, dark painted walls and bold murals and a mix of '90s grunge and alt-pop music in the background. We definitely want to go back for dinner sometime and try more of the menu.

For dinner on our first night, we opted to give Brocks Riverside Grill a try and we were not disappointed. Our waitress, Mckewen, was super friendly and helpful with both ordering selections when both of us have Shellfish allergies and later pairing our entrees with wines. For starters, we ordered drinks. My wife ordered a glass of Chardonnay and I ordered a Spicy Margarita. We shared an appetizer of Crispy Brussel Sprouts and bread rolls that came with a delicious oil and garlic dipping sauce. The main dining area was sparsely attended by other dinner patrons, with large windows to one side overlooking the river. For entrees, my wife selected the Roasted Beet Poke Bowl which she described as "light and refreshing" and I ordered the 16-oz Marinated Ribeye, cooked to Medium along with sides of mixed Seasonal Vegetables (sliced Zucchini & Squash) and Redskins Mashed potatoes with an order of mushrooms to go on top of the steak. I also ordered a nice glass of Merlot wine to go with it. The portions were generous, and the entrees perfectly prepared, and very tasty. If there was any fault at all, it was that the ribeye was a little too laden with a ring of fat rather than simply marbled, but otherwise no complaints. For dessert, I ordered a slice of Key Lime Pie and my wife ordered Crème Brûlée. Both were appealing to the eye and each bite beckoned us to take another bite. It is certainly someplace we would go to again.

Fantastic! A "must try" and one we'll visit often…read more We're in the process of moving to Fburg and decided to have a nice dinner. I looked through Yelp and picked F132 as our first meal in the new town. Great choice! We didn't have a reservation, and it was Friday at 6pm, so we were placed on the bar seating wait list. We were seated in 20-25 minutes, which was super fast and great with us. Lesson learned for next time, make a reservation. But, if you choose or wind up at the bar, the service is great and seating is comfortable. The bartender was with us quickly and walked us through the Happy Hour specials. Drinks, apps, etc. they had a good variety of things in HH and many seemed interesting. But we were there for steak, so we let him know and he took our orders. In the meantime, he got us waters and bread service. While we waited, we watched the bar staff make some amazing concoctions including smoked old fashioneds, and all manner of flavors, textures, and mixtures. I don't really do cocktails but there were egg whites, chocolate sauce, fruits, mints and great presentations. They also were serving HH food and the Happy Dog looked filling: the truffle fries were served in what looked like multi-pound platters. I had the filet with French onion soup and corn salad. My wife had filet with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. The bartender explained sides change frequently and are selected by what is available farm fresh. The corn salad was a sort of chilled street corn with some peppers and stuff. Very good and the corn was so fresh. French onion soup was delish! Absolutely perfect. Black eyed peas were great. I didn't try the mashed potatoes. The steak was the star. I don't know what's in their house rub, but it's perfect. And the steaks are cooked under an 1800 degree broiler so they get that perfect sear. Both were cooked at the perfect temperature. And the meat was trimmed so there was nothing but butter-tender beef. Let me be clear-THIS IS THE BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD! The service was perfect. My glass never fell below 2/3 full, and we never were waiting on service, but it was non intrusive and really made the experience so much better. A++! Wherever you are reading this, stop what you are doing, and RUN, don't walk to Fahrenheit 132. You'll thank me later.

Yes, there are "trendy" restaurants downtown with a larger and rotating, seasonal, or farm-to-table menu. But Olde Towne Steak & Seafood is wonderful. The steak is always cooked to perfection, the shrimp in the Shrimp Cocktail are ENORMOUS, the stuffed mushrooms are (chef's kiss), their cocktails (especially dirty martinis) are wonderful, and their prime rib is as big as an infant's head. The interior could use a bit of an upgrade. I went there for my Senior prom in 1990 and although it is still cozy and inviting -especially fireside-the clean, classic decor could use a bit of a perking up. No minor issues like decor can obscure the wonderful service! A LOT of servers in this area consider waiting tables just a job to be done and gotten over with and customers a nuisance. Whether they truly feel it or not, the staff here present themselves as practicing their vocation. But none of this compares to the warmth and personal attention of Mrs. Hyon Harding, the owner. Mrs. Hyon always greets you like you are a welcome guest - not a dollar sign. She takes the time during each visit to personally visit each table to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and you are happy. And it is not just some token "drive by." You can tell she really does care and wants you to have a good experience. All of this beats truffle fries and Mac and cheese, rosemary mashed potatoes, and "locally foraged mushrooms" in my book and always will.

Went on a Sunday night and there maybe 5 other tables occupied, each had over 5 patrons and we had a table near the main fireplace. The atmosphere was as expected no change over the years. Room temperature was great, a bit cool for my wife but that is normal. Our sever (Callie was exceptional and very responsive to our requests) came to the table promptly and took our drink order. Water and tea, no alcohol. Delivered quickly. We also got bread, not warm and very unimpressive. Orders were placed we recovered our salads with dressing on them and I had requested it on the side, not a big issue butt the meal proceeds to go down hill rapidly from there. My salad tasted like it had been sitting out for a while (wet wilted and soggy) and the only flavor it had was the fresh cracked pepper. I honestly expected more from the salad then iceberg lettuce, 2cherry tomatoes and a couple of cucumber slices. Blue cheese dressing was only identifiable because it was what I requested. Prime rib was over cooked but the portion was as ordered. Bake potato was dry and very overdone, 3 servings of sour cream to make it editable. My wife's seafood was equally tasteless, the lobster was great but the scallops tasted funny". Had more bread during the meal cold and tasteless. The best part of the meal by far wast he dessert, chocolate cake with whipped cream and strawberries, plated beautifully. Overall a 2.0 for the meal quality was mediocre at best, desert and service would rate a 4.5 (Callie was a 5.0 as a server). And the owner manager did not come by our table but did visit all the other tables. On the way out she said how was your meal I said very underwhelming and she just glared at me. I didn't complain to keep our 36th wedding anniversary fun, but after getting in the car and driving off my wife stated that wasn't worth it we will find a new anniversary place. In my opinion we could have eaten at a big box steakhouse (T/R) 5 times and higher quality for the ($150) price.
