Your Company is a fraud. HERE IS A OPEN POST TO THE OWNERS OF LEGION TRANSFORMATION CENTER IN NEWARK. They had a 30 days for 30 dollars promotion. I validated at the beginning that there was no active action required on my part, i.e. I would not be required to do anything at the end of the 30 days. At the end of the 30 days they made an unauthorized charge on my card for $125.00. They acknowledge it was an error on their part. (I have an email to that effect)I spoke with owner (Mitch) who claims he is not sure they could cut a refund check. He indicated he would have to speak to the accountants and get back to me. After numerous emails and a conversation with staff member Frank they have chosen to go dark. What course of action do I have to take next?I can only draw the conclusion This is a poorly run business in the guise of a scam. I want my money. I've been a member for about a year and a half now. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the best part of going here are the workouts. They really mix them up and keep them interesting. The workouts target different parts of the body on different days. Sometimes it's a mix of free weights and calisthenics, sometimes it's all aerobic, but it keeps it interesting. Working out in a group also keeps you honest! The only downside is it's a little pricey compared to a lot of other gyms. read more

This was an awesome and at times anxiety filled experience. I joined Legion's infamous 20 lbs challenge. I walked in six weeks ago as a skeptic, after six weeks I'm happy to say I not only lost the weight, but I developed a habit that I believe I can sustain for a lifetime. The atmosphere of Legion is far different from your average gym facility. The team workout serves to feed both your challenger mentality and provides ongoing encouragement. The workouts are challenging, but the coaches and members help push you through. I have been on this wellness journey for some time and this is the first plan that I was able to commit to till the end. I had a great experience at Legion while completing their 6 week challenge. I needed a push to get back into the swing of things after summer vacation, and this really did the trick (and so much more). On June 23, 2021 I agreed to pay half of the fee for the bikini weight loss challenge over the phone with my credit card. That was a Wednesday. The following Saturday I attended the first session. It was not a good weight loss option for me a person with Multiple Sclerosis. I sent a text to the salesperson that following Monday I needed to cancel. She said she notified Frank (manager?) via text. I kept getting pushback and Mitch Vannoy another employee said I could not cancel because it was a special program. I was never told that when I initially paid. I filed a complaint via the Better Business Bureau and the Delaware Attorney General Consumer Complaint department. Despite the continued pushback from Legion Transformation, I finally got my money credited back to my credit card on August 9, 2021. I signed up for their program and never will again. read more

If you want results then I would recommend legion. I had been struggling for years trying to diet and workout on my own terms. Finally I found legion and decided to try out their 6 week challenge. They make workouts fun and it's nice because they have workouts all day long so it's extremely convenient even for the busiest person. I've been with Legion more for 12 weeks and I've already reviewed it on Facebook,  if you haven't seen it,  check it out!  This time I'm going to concentrate on the facility itself.  The "front end" area consists of the front desk, men's restroom, an auxiliary room, and a room that I could only assume is a lounge/meeting area with comfy chairs and benches. The "back end " or workout area is where the magic is made..  it's a very large room separated into two main areas with and open wall in the middle that have TRX bands hanging from them. A changing room and women's bathroom.  I can't speak for the women's bathroom. But the men's bathroom is clean and well stocked. There is also an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on site,  which is very important and potentially life saving... There isn't any intimidating equipment, no crazy contraptions that you have no idea how to get into,  let alone know how to use.. its mainly dumbbells,  medicine balls, ketel bells, and barbells, etc... There are a few rowing machines and benches as well. The floor areas are both rubber matting and something I would consider closely to turf. There are 3 garage doors,  which a few may be open for fresh air and natural light...   The newest addition and star attraction are the giant fans that are hanging from the ceiling.  They may look like they are moving slow.. but man, they can put out some air!  Love that new edition to the facility!  Overall the facility is large, roomy, organized, clean and a great place to workout. read more

I participated in the "lose 20 pounds in six weeks" program, twice, and lost 20 pounds both times. I am a fan of Legion. I've tried many diets and workouts and this program by far has given me the best results. The program takes a all-in six week commitment. Participants are given a very detailed, step-by-step program to follow. The coaches, workouts and office staff are wonderful. The program will work for all fitness levels, weather you want to lose 20 pounds, or lose 5% body fat. Exercises can be modified to support any workaround needed. The meal plan was easy to follow. The immediate support group of past and present challengers is incredible. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking to get back on track with their health. The program and Newark staff earn 5*. The cons and reason for the 4*: Legion sells their own supplements. They are higher priced than what you can find in local supplement stores and online, however, you never know what you are getting in the other brands. I'm willing to spend the extra and get the supplements from Legion. However, I would highly recommend that you do not buy / pre-order any supplement from Legion unless the item is in stock and you can walk out the door with it. For both challenges, I pre-ordered supplements and they took a while to arrive. The last time it took five weeks for my supplement order to be 100% filled. So, be cautious of that. 2nd con, the monthly membership post challenge is extremely high. I would love to become a member, but unfortunately cannot justify the high cost. But I would still recommend to everyone to do a challenge with them. Good luck! read more

I had signed up (and successfully completed) one of their 20 lb 6 weeks challenges last summer, took a few months away, and missed it so much that I signed up for another challenge in January. The coaches all have great attitudes and are very helpful, workouts are intense and get you moving. I will be doing another 6 week challenge, working towards my goal weight. Love it! read more

I have never really workout in my life. I was feeling lethargic, had really bad headaches and added a few pounds over the years. To make the story short I was not happy with myself. I wanted to be lean and toned and of course be rid of my pouched area. I found legion at the right time as my unhappiness grew. The coaches are amazing. They work with u in altering the workout to your needs. They help you with your diet issues to try to get u on the right tract to eating healthy. They make the workouts extremely fun bc I was excited to go everyday for 6 days a week even tho I had limited time due to my busy schedule but made it work for me. I did the 6 weeks challenge and had an amazing time here. By the end of the challenge I lost 6%BMI and a few pounds. Legion is the best gym for body workout. Good excercises and intense. Coaches are good and encouraging. But personally they are expensive.

I completed the 20lb in 6 week challenge a week ago. It was definitely an experience. The team there are very energetic, supportive, and push you to do your best. I am happy with the weight loss and inches lost in the past 6 weeks. I highly recommend this program to anyone and everyone. It works if you follow the instructions. I am energetic, don't need vitamins anymore, and my knees don't hurt as much. It's a great feeling. I have learned a lot and plan to continue my weight loss journey with this new information.
