I stopped in late-morning on a Saturday June afternoon. As expected in a store featuring soap, the aroma upon entering was both pleasant and overpowering. The was a large assortment of scented soaps, one of which was "beer" , as well as moisturizing creams, lotions, and skin sun protection. A mostly sunny day motivated me to procure a 5.5 fluid ounce Coco-mango sunscreen mist with SPF 30 for $18.95 which I have obviously not tried just yet. Unfortunately, I didn't take any indoor photographs to post as I was the sole customer, and I would have probably felt awkward taking pics with the service attendant in full view. If you're into a variety of fun soaps as I am, although currently well-stocked, this is someplace you ought check out! As an aside, it takes a lot for me to rate someplace a 5 star, so it's not that the shop was at all deficient, just a bit small, powerfully scented, and moderately pricey, but this is, after all, a quite popular and delightful town and destination! read more

I've been coming here during my yearly summer vacation for about two years. I am OBSESSED with their variety of body soaps and they all smell incredible. The prices are very reasonable and they also have other cosmetics (they don't make them themselves but they are still fantastic) like natural deodorant and fragrances. What a lovely experience we had! It smells heavenly as soon as you walk in and is well organized. As we walked around, the shop owner (I believe) was very attentive. He was cutting soaps as we perused and let us smell the bars. I shared that myself and some family members have various skin conditions and he quickly pointed me in the right direction. Visited on a whim a few years ago. After talking to the down to earth and knowledgeable soap dude we decided to give the soap a try. We have a child with super sensitive skin and allergies, and I myself have sensitive skin. We were thrilled to discover we can use LEH soaps with no issues and our skin feels great. The soaps are rich and moisturizing without leaving an unpleasant film behind. The products smell so lovely! We have also recently tried a few other skincare products from LEH Soap and have found them to be effective and non-irritating, as well. I have often bought products for gifts and the recipients always rave about them. Unfortunately, on my last weekend visit to town I couldn't catch the store open. So disappointed! I love this place! The shop owner is interesting to chat with and the soap is just amazing!!! I made my first purchase about 6 weeks ago and it was love at first lather!! Lol! The soaps are smooth and moisturizing! The scents are clean and reminiscent of salt air. I already have some favorites. This shop is worth the drive from Annapolis to stock up!! This is such a cute store filled with self-care bath goodies! They sell a variety of handmade soap, sugar scrubs, and body butters with delightful smelling scents such as pina colada and almond crumble! Great place to pick up local unique souvenirs for family and friends back home. read more

Visited twice in July 2023. Incredible, vast selection of soaps, skincare, and hair products. There are so many unique scents of soaps that smell amazing. The woman in there was very kind and helpful and even gave me some free samples of soap. The prices aren't bad and are affordable. You can pick up a great bar that they make in house for around 5-6 dollars. They even have body scrubs and lip products. The scents of the soaps are very fragrant but in my use of the soaps, they don't irritate my skin. I will definitely be back! read more

My best friend has a summer house in Rehoboth, and every time I visit from the West Coast, I have to stop in and purchase something. Customer service is outstanding. Where do I start. I have been coming here for about 3 years. Cindy, is the manager there, and is mostly the reason this is a 5 star review. Not only does Cindy give the BEST customer service, the soaps are literally life changing. I don't use any other products except LEH on my skin. Every product in there is a must try. My girlfriend and I recently just did our Christmas shopping at LEH and we can't wait to give everyone their gifts. Please stop at this place if you're on vacation in Rehobeth! Cindy is the best! Today I wandered in while my husband was next door getting coffee. As a newly expectant mother, I was interested in finding new liquid hand soaps and hair products with natural ingredients. I was not greeted when I came in (others that came in were). I have to say I had the weirdest experience here. With a soap and scents shop one would expect to allow the customers to actually SMELL the products. I was about to buy some expensive delicious Rose bath soap from France and was interested in two particular liquid hand soaps. I tried to smell the soaps and the middle aged saleswoman with shoulder length dirty blonde hair who paid no mind to me before, ran over and said that "those are not testers" and proceeded to take the soap bottle out of my hand and place it back on the counter. Um, what? How do you test hand soap?! I told her that I would absolutely want to smell a product before spending $17 on it! Who wouldnt?! She proceeded to grab the bar soap wrapped tightly in paper in the same line of product and told me I could smell that. Right. I couldn't smell it barely at all through all the wrapping. She continued to argue with me that there was a "safety seal" and that was "someone's soap" to the liquid soap of interest. It may have been air compressed but there was no seal...for the SOAP. And that soap was about to be mine if she hadn't approached me like that. I actually enjoyed the scent and ingredients and was planning on buying it. I left the other product and told her I wasn't interested in buying anything at that point. She just lost a pretty good sale with her odd approach and terrible salesman skills. I felt like I just got treated unfairly and absolutely will never return there. You should allow your customers to SMELL your products and if there are some in particular you don't want anyone to TOUCH and SMELL, I recommend a specific sign next to that product saying so. read more

I admit to having a soft spot for this kind of store; I love going to places like Lush and splurging and pampering a bit. This small store definitely fulfills that desire to pamper and relax. Though it is small inside, it is very well-maintained and organized. The products are clearly displayed, prices are on the products themselves, and the staff is always willing to help make recommendations and answer questions. I have gone a few times, and have always been treated graciously and kindly by the employees. They are not shy about sharing samples or a punch card for people like myself who tend to spend more than average in a place like this. That brings me to another point- the prices. Of course, products like this are not as affordable as soaps that can be bought in a grocery store or pharmacy, but they are far less expensive than similar retailers- such as Lush. They are a great quality and feature enough variety to please. This is a must visit, even if you just need a creamy soap to soothe sunburnt skin. By the way, that sunburn-soothing soap does work. read more
