To take a deposit before any prices are decided (shady) and then keep the entire deposit when the prices given are not what expected, is LEGAL (according to how paperwork is written) but immoral Would not do business with a place like this After receiving a response from the owner I want to let her know this is not customary to all caterers in the area to keep full deposit after doing nothing 5 months previously! CATERING: CARFEUL WHEN GIVING A DEPOSIT! We wanted a food truck for my son's graduation party in upcoming August (yes! we booked 6 mos ahead of time). Megan sent us TONS of food info for catering, wedding, and "food truck". The services provided with food were not clear. There were no prices, but we had to give a $750 deposit to save the date. The first proposal came in yesterday and they quoted $8,220!!!! That is $82.00 per person! We explained we just wanted a food truck, but they actually do not have a "food truck". It is a trailer and grill with 5 staff. We said this is not what we wanted at all, but even with cuts the price couldn't come close to other food trucks we look at that came in at half the cost! We understand that the deposit is normally non-refundable, but that is just cruel to keep $750 of our budget when they have done nothing for it! The date is still 5 months away! Lehigh Valley BBQ is a new restaurant in Easton that specializes in Texas Style BBQ. This establishment has a huge following on social media so I'm a bit surprised I'm the first to give a Yelp review, but it will be my pleasure! Let me start off by saying my server was fantastic. She was friendly, timely, and made my first visit memorable. For food, I started off with the BBQ Nachos and finished with the Mac Attack Burrito. The nachos were layered perfectly with pulled pork, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, jalapeños, salsa, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, guacamole, and their signature BBQ sauce. It sounds like too much, but it was actually the perfect amount of ingredients. The Mac Attack Burrito is stuffed with their signature Mac 'N Cheese, beef brisket, and their signature BBQ sauce. Always on the hunt for great BBQ we decided to give this a try. We went with an order of the cornbread, which they gladly let us split between the sweet and jalapeño. Topped with honey and served with marmalade butter was just a little disappointing. Served cold, the butter wasn't able to melt. The Jalapeño was underbaked and both lacked the salt to complement the sweetness. Smoked wings are always a favorite but these were a little too charred and dry that didn't get much help from their accompanying sauce. Nachos with brisket were overly salty and missed the mark. Slider combo with fresh cut fries seemed like a great way to try all the proteins (pork, beef brisket and chicken). The chicken, overly salty never let the slaw and sauce come through. Brisket and pork were fine but the accompanying fries were not crispy and under seasoned compared to the other menu items. read more

I have very mixed reviews on this place. We went here for lunch on a Saturday. The place was empty. The owner was very nice and explained the menu to us. She took our order and I heard her tell her staff that she was leaving and would be back later. .. We ordered some wings and the brisket Mac and cheese egg rolls to start and the also the ultimate fries to share. We waited almost an hour for our wings and like I said, we were the only people there. The wings were inedible. They were rock hard, so either way over cooked or really old. However the sauce they were dipped in was good, but the wings themselves were horrible. While we were waiting, 2 gentlemen walked in and told the staff that they had an order for pick up. .. apparently they missed the order and didn't have it ready for them so they asked them to wait at the bar. I think those guys were there about 30 min waiting for their food. Our egg rolls came out. MUCH bigger than what I was expecting. They weren't terrible. They were actually decent. The ultimate fries came out. We did it with the pulled pork. The fries seemed old but the bbq, Mac & cheese and baked beans that they were topped with was pretty tasty. We got Thor's Hammer and let me tell you, it DID NOT disappoint!! We picked this up for the "big game" and everyone was super satisfied. There was definitely enough food to feed 4-6 adults. Ohhh and it was sooooo delicious! I cannot wait to go back to try more. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal. There was two different kinds. The fries were so good especially when we drizzled the bbq sauce on them. The beef shin was super tasty and we even had leftovers... definitely worth it and so happy we gave it a try! read more
