We've been customers for maybe 25 years. We've bought and serviced a gas fireplace and several grills over the years. We ordered a new grill - great experience. Then things went downhill. Rich's no longer does its own delivery. They depend on a vendor to do the delivery, followed by a Rich's person to come up and hook it up. We scheduled the delivery for Friday. The Wednesday BEFORE the delivery the Rich's person came to do the install. He said no problem, the delivery people would do the install. Seriously? A gas grill? Friday rolls around and the grill was delivered. The delivery people didn't know how to turn the grill on to verify it was working. It wouldn't turn on. They then closed the grill lid and turned on the gas and continued to try and turn the grill on. This is dangerous. I stopped that action immediately. It took Rich's a couple of weeks to get another service person over to check the grill and verify it was installed correctly to our gas line, and make sure it was working correctly. BTW - it took 2 emails and a call to the salesperson to get the service department to respond to do the scheduling. They don't answer the phone or return calls anymore. All done with email. Sales - 5 stars. Service scheduler - 1 star. PS Great grill.

The combination of cast stainless grills, sear temperature infrared side burner, rotisserie and smoker versatility, and convenient drip trays convinced me. They shipped me a pre-installed unit with a natural gas fitting within one week, and the local carrier could haul away the old grill for a small additional fee. I had two minor issues upon delivery, the cabinet was missing two side screws and the natural gas coupler did not fit our NG outdoor fitting. Michelle took care of everything and quickly arranged for one of their installers to return a few days later to install the correct cabinet screws and also able to install a reducer on our NG outlet to fit the NG coupler. The grill exceeds expectations, and I appreciate Michelle's personal attention and professional service. I highly recommend Rich's for the Home for any outdoor grill needs.

So, I called just to check and boy was I glad I did- their price for the faucets was almost $200 less (each) than at Aurora Plumbing! I had some email back and forth sorting out the finish details and Mike was super helpful and pleasant, despite some stress on my part. They look like they've got a lovely selection of interesting designers. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to browse the showroom.

We were then told afterwards that we would need to pay a restocking fee in addition to shipping back to the distributor. I asked to know the amount to help decide whether I should try to sell privately, though our phone call was ignored and we were charged said fees. * we were told that we would be charged as items arrived over several weeks. Instead we got a single surprise $10K+ charge on the credit card, and most things still have not yet arrived. The staff still has not yet answered emails or returned calls with our questions about this transaction. * the amount that was charged to our credit card was several hundred dollars more than the receipt. We still do not understand why this happened and whether or not it will be corrected. I can't say that I wouldn't go back, but I would go in understanding I would need to manage them very closely. They were not customer focused, though did have better overall prices for items that we ordered.

We needed something that worked with our alabaster/ivory tile and Mapei Alabaster grout--and fast. We were immediately and thoroughly helped by the owner, who was not only knowledgeable but incredibly validating. She confirmed my instincts about the white-white trim looking cheap against our tile, even mentioning she doesn't stock it for that exact reason! I had started to feel like I was being too picky or difficult, but she reassured me I wasn't--and that meant a lot. She had multiple alternatives that looked significantly better, and she made a confident, trustworthy recommendation. She knew my tile, was familiar with the grout color, and--miracle of miracles--had exactly what we needed in stock and ready to go. Krafter's land only sales 'standard' cabinets. A standard Lay-Susan is 35 X 35 with a door opening of about 12-inches on each side. .. so.... How did my NON-Standard 33 X 33" lazy Susan come with 6" openings?.. 3-to- 6" inches less than the standard opening? I have three-Blind-Corners. Krafter's COULD-NOT accommodate a cabinet that would fill this whole area. They wanted me to accept a cabinet that would only fill part of this space. Hmmmm! Aren't blind corners a standard? And they don't accommodate? The planner's ambition seemed to desire to fill my walls with cabinets... it did not matter if the lower cabinets were aligned with the upper cabinets... did not matter. Putting in a two-door cabinet on one wall and putting two individual single cabinets across the way (thus minimizing my storage space).. and the there are the spacers .... An inch here, three inches there.. all eating up my precious storage space. Oh it Looks Gorgeous.... But nothing is aligned--- 4 cabinets up top, three on the bottom and none of the lines match. The cabinets themselves are beautiful!.... And I am a baker. I asked for roll-out shelves/drawers.... My baking shelf has 10# white flour, 10# wheat flour, 5# of both white and brown sugar..... guess what?.... Their roll-out shelves can-NOT carry this kind of a load... this load will cause dragging and musfunction. Hmmmm And the final clincher..... you buy- puck up and install--- they are yours. No returns. But they are pretty!
