I absolutely guarantee that if you are looking for something pretty under $20 to decorate your home with this is NOT the store for you. This is a well established business - 35+ years - run by professionals within the luxury collectible, antique, fine art, and designer home furnishings industry. Becky has been a tremendous resource for me and many of my friends. I have referred her many times to people who are looking to resell items such as Waterford, Royal Doulton, Baccarat, Lalique, antique asian art and mid century modern furnishings. If it's signed or has a maker's mark and I wasn't able to google much about it's origin - or better yet - found it to be sold online for more than $100 - I would consult with Becky first. Very cluttered store... there is one person, attendant basically in all corners of the store, the front part, giving looks as if you're going to steal some thing. In my opinion things are over priced, I'm not sure they know how to haggle or go lower on prices. And if you don't see it, they don't have it, and they're not gonna get it for you, and I'm under the impression and they don't care. It seems like they try to make the isles more safer/uncluttered. They're the sweetest I asked them to put a Ring on hold for me bc I wanted to pay in cash later that day...I went back to the beauty school I'm attending nearby and realized I lost a sentimental necklace I've had on my neck for years now it was nowhere to be found just a few months back I lost my dads large chain bracelet that he's had since I was a kid last month at school too. i was so upset that I lost a necklace so soon after having lost another sentimental item not too long ago..i didn't end up coming back to the shop for a few days, I told myself I didn't deserve anything & today I finally went back to the shop to get the ring & told Becky that I had just lost my necklace & she gave It to me for free!!!! I recently went here to look into selling a five year old dining room chandelier. This place showed no interest whatsoever. I later got an offer of several hundred dollars for this item on Craig's List. Bottom line: you may be able to do better elsewhere. Items for sale here are high priced and not well displayed. Anytime I'm in the area, I have to come and check out their goods. They almost always have items to drool over, although the prices are high for a consignment shop. Consider the prices more like those you would expect to find at an antique shop over those at a second hand store. I mostly ignore the women hovering over my shoulder and make it clear that if I have a question, I'll ask. My mom introduced me to Becky decades ago, and right now I am looking at a beautiful yew wood chest I purchased there and cherish still. An interesting place, meaning just interesting.. I've been quite a few consignments stores before, mostly in Connecticut. To go in a consignments store you usually want to look, as I always do. When I walked in to this one, I was surprised for the gold framed plates, tables, mirrors and all. It almost looked like in between fancy antique shop and other consignment shops. Old ladies with sharp eyes followed me around.. Everything looked pretty expensive. The stuffs here must from the old people who used live in the Leisure World. Thoughtfully curated by the owner, expect to see the finest Lalique, Baccarat, Daum, Steuben, Tiffany, Copenhagen, Herend, as well as designer pieces, fine art, and antiques. If the owner doesn't have it, she will find it for you. She is an absolute love to work with, respectful, honest and kind. Her staff is super friendly and helpful. I purchase nearly all of my unique gifts for my loved ones in her store. Not sure why other reviews mention the owner, Becky, as a rude person because that is the opposite experience I've had on the several occasions I've stopped by. I am in heaven - I just visited Ali Baba's cave of treasures. What an incredible find in Orange County! I needed a beautiful but reasonably priced gift for my mother. The owner has wonderful taste and was so happy to work with me to select the perfect present. From the moment I walked in, the owner and another lovely staff member welcomed me like I was family. We talked about what kind of special things my mother likes and proceeded to spend a ton of time walking around this amazing store discussing which items would make a terrific gift. When we found the perfect item (a stunning set of crystal goblets,) I was frankly surprised at how reasonable it was - a fraction at what I had seen at other antique stores, never mind a department store! Love love LOVE this store! I shop many consignment stores but this one is completely unique. It has high end antique furniture, jewelry, and collectibles. I saw cut glass pieces (l NEVER see these anywhere except ebay!), Lladro, Lalique, Murano, Baccarat, and other fine crystal pieces. They had some sterling silver spoons that were so fun to paw though and beautiful pieces of jewelry. They also had furniture, but l am not much in the market for any large home pieces. Though someday, when l upgrade and get an extra 1,000 or so square feet, l will totally be coming here. Lol. A set of Lalique bullfrogs caught my eye for two reasons. One, I am a collector of frogs and two, l adore Lalique and have a couple pieces. I didn't know how much these frogs ran in the Lalique store, but later, l went on eBay and saw that this store is selling the Lalique frog for an average of $100 less than the other sellers on eBay! So some may say expensive, but it is all relative. They sell these for WAY less than Lalique, and even less than eBay sellers. Plus you can save on shipping. I like real math and smart buys. This is a complete win-win. So some ppl may say this store is expensive, but if you KNOW your stuff, you will find that their prices are actually really good. Most customers don't know the actual cost or retail cost of these items. They just see the price tag and get sticker shock because they didn't think something so small could be worth so much. Well if you know your stuff, you'll find that their prices are pretty competitive. If you don't believe me, just do like l did, and do the research. I ended up finding some crystal magnets which were part of the same set l found 10+ years ago at Marshall's and Marshall's charged me $15 for just the two. The owner quoted me $5 so l was very happy with that! I ended up going to pay for them and the owner said l could have them for FREE! Like, what?!!! I was floored! We got to talking and they were very kind, personable, and knowledgeable. I would definitely be back due to the customer service and excellent finds, alone. I ended up sticking around longer because my mom was going through the silver spoons and l also ended up finding just a handle and was thrilled because it would work perfect for my hair, like a hairpin. My mom and l went to pay and because my handle had no stamp of sterling, they gave me it for FREE! Ultimate score this trip. Long story short, this store has the most beautiful items l have seen at a consignment store and l shop at them frequently. We never would have known it was in this shopping center because it is such a hidden gem. Definitely add this store to your list of must-shop-at stores. It is WELL worth the trip. There is a lovely selection of jewelry, paintings, silver, crystal, etc. I am very surprised at the some of the unpleasant, and quite frankly, ugly comments on here - my experience was very good. Keep in mind that the service is very personalized - so yes, if other customers arrived before you and are being helped with items that are in glass cases behind a counter, you will need to politely wait your turn. If you were well brought up, this won't be a problem for you:) Becky was busy when I came in - I had wonderful time perusing with my daughter until Becky was free to examine what I wanted to sell. I enjoy all types of thrift stores yet keep in mind this is not The Salvation Army or Good Will - this is a high end (although there are deals to be found) consignment store. The employees of the store do not set the prices for most of the items - this agreed upon by the owners of the merchandise who bring it in to have it sold. For those items owned outright by the store, it is not a market to haggle about prices and it is inappropriate to argue with the store employees about this. Horribly rude service!!! And outrageous prices!! Amber C. hit the nail on the head with her review! My mother saw a charm bracelet that she liked (which was horribly overpriced), so I called to inquire if they might negotiate the price. A cranky elderly woman rudely told me that there are no negotiations and refused to even call the seller and present my offer. My offer was much more than a used charm bracelet was worth... and it was scoffed at by this hoity-toity woman, who obviously knows nothing of customer service, nor cares to make a sale. I only offered as much as I did because I wanted to surprise my mother, who thought this bracelet reminded her of one her beloved deceased aunt had. My mother also mentioned to me that when she was in the store, she was treated like a second class citizen because she wasn't wealthy looking. The owner and her mother follow you around like a dog in case God forbidden accidentally touch or drop their junk. I bought some ordinary stuff as my mom was with me and I wanted to make her happy. Never again, I found the same stuff online and in Downtown Orange for 1/3 of a price. So please don't bother with this junk hole.
