A cute little thrift store in Lake Forest. Parking is easy. It's just a couple doors down from Second Impressions, which is their sister store. I've been there quite a few times but hadn't had a chance to come to Inspired. When I went they had a sale where all clothing was $5. The sales clerk was very helpful with pointing out the price of other items in the store as well - scarves, jewelry, bags - as everything was on special discount. I love the way they curate their selections. I found a couple of shirts in the men's section that I liked. Everything here is new or like new. And they often carry designer clothing. I had a great experience shopping in this store and I'll be back in the future! read more

I did not realize this store was here, and owned by the same person as the thrift store at the end of the walkway, which I have been to a few times. That's where I was headed when I found this place last week. We went in, and its very nicely decorated and has a lot of fun stuff. Tried on a few things, and ended up buying three items, and spent about $50. The employees were very nice and helpful. The problem I have, is after going to the thrift store, and not finding anything, and walking around a couple times just looking at items... we left. We walked back to the car, and what I can figure is the owner as all questions go to him, break schedules are told by him, etc. he walked out behind us and followed us giving us the side eye in my car. I have spent money at both locations, but my friend and I looked at each other after this like wait, really? It was extremely odd and uncomfortable and honestly offensive. I will take my actual business elsewhere as it seems we gave you reason to feel we were suspicious. Which, I am really trying to figure out why. read more

This long overdue review is for BOTH, Inspired the Boutique AND Second Impressions. I received a text message from them today, which reminded me that I needed to share my experience. TLDR version: Overpriced, false advertisement, shady business practices, WILL NOT GO BACK to Inspired the Boutique or Second Impressions!!! Longer version: Back on May 5th, I went to an event that I was led to believe was happening at Second Impressions thrift store (See pic of text from them). When I got to the store it was closed, which was super disappointing/frustrating, because I had parked far away and I'm partially disabled. As I was leaving, I drove past another store that had a tent set up outside and thought maybe they had set up there because Second Impressions is tucked back in the corner without a place to do a tent. I rolled my window down and asked the guy in the tent if this was for the Second Impressions event, and he said yes. So I drove around for a while until I could snag another parking spot (again far away, because El Ranchito was having a Cinco de Mayo event) and made my way over to that other tent location. Turns out, this was for another store called Inspired the Boutique. When I go in the store, I was bummed to find it was just clothes. No books, games, toys, random trinkets or home decor, which is what I've purchased in the past from Second Impressions and expected to buy this time as well. But since I was there, figured I'd check out the men's clothing. Yikes, ridiculously overpriced for what you'd expect from a thrift store! I'm talking well over Goodwill or Salvation Army. But per their text they were doing a ring toss to win "up to 30% off on your highest priced item!" so I went to give that a try, in an effort to make a shirt I found be a more reasonable price. But to add insult to injury, after everything else, you could only win up to 20% off (see 2nd pic of ring toss). WOW, false advertising much? I went back inside and asked the lady at the register about it, and also about why I had received an invite to an event for Second Impressions that was actually for another store with a completely different inventory, and she said that the text I received came from their Boutique store that is owned by the same people. I showed her the text that only said Second Impressions and she said she'd have to check into that. I told her that's kinda shady that I gave my info to one store, and then get texts from a completely different store. And then what about the 20% ring toss game instead of the 30%? Her response was "too many people had won the 30% so we removed it." WTF?!?! I stood there speechless and then just walked out. I did mention to the guy in the tent on my way out that I would be sharing my experience on yelp, and now I've made good on that promise. Obviously I won't be returning to either of their stores! read more

This is my hidden gem for vintage finds. At 28, there's lots of eras of awesome clothing to choose from. I can always find something awesome here. They have new items and vintage. I try and go at least once a week because they put stuff out daily and I hate to miss out! My favorite find so far was a Missoni dress for $18. The new stuff is a good price too. One of my favorite tank tops is from here. read more

My wife loves this place! I almost wanted to write a negative review because she always seems to find something to spend money on here. Leaving another review because my first review didn't show up on my main page but I would like to say this is a 10 out of 10. I went there with my girlfriend. We both found items that we liked. It was also in the area that we visit often. There's El Ranchito, a thrift store and one of our favorite tattoo shops in the parking lot. The boutique has lots of air fresheners and other candles and clothing for women and a small men's section even thought it's small there's lots of good stuff I got a air freshener and some men's lotion for a good price and 5 doors down they have A thrift store with lots of movies,books,cd and lots of clothing for a great price with different daily deals depending on the tag colors I like the deals they have compared to goodwill where it's too pricey now def recommend to stop by it's definitely a hidden gem read more

I LOVE this place!! I often shop their sister thrift store just a few doors down and was told about Inspired's opening the day before so I went down on my lunch break to check it out. Such an amazing selection of boutique clothing with very reasonable boutique pricing. I went back today to get some teacher appreciation gifts because I wanted actual adult gifts and not "typical" teacher gifts. I had 15 minutes (again on lunch break) and immediately found beautiful cup sets and cards. I also spotted many clothing pieces I want to go back to look at over the weekend. Staff is so friendly and helpful and ambiance is wonderful!! read more

My granddaughter and I love this place! Lots of charming items and new and vintage clothing. We did not leave empty-handed!

Would definitely recommend. The owners are honestly so great, they put out great merchandise. I was able to find a dress for an event last minute and was so thankful. They also do so much as far as donations to great charities/foundations on their other side. read more
