A great showroom with a beautiful array of options to dress up the interior of one's sanctuary they call home. There is bedding, furniture, lighting, and artwork. The folks that work here are easy-going and helpful. Always updating with the seasons, their Christmas events are not to be missed. After years of visiting this showroom, I finally had the opportunity to catch the recent one and it was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Where to start. After moving into our new home it was time to decorate. Having no real experience in working with a designer my wife and I struggled with some of the name brand retailers and a few local furniture stores. Needless to say the experience was less than we expected. Finally I reached out to a realtor friend of mine who recommended I contact Jaime at Jonathon's and I am so thankful for this recommendation. Jaime and her colleague Linda have been a joy to work with and have helped us tremendously in decorating our home. The ladies are attentive, have a great eye for design and took the time necessary to ensure we are completely satisfied throughout the process. I've shopped at Jonathan's for about 18 years, first in their HB location and now in their Fountain Valley store. My very first purchases were teeny tiny; just little Knick knacks now and again. I met Brooke Naef, one of Jonathan's interior designers, back then, and she treated my smallest purchases with excitement and care, listening intently to my descriptions of what I was trying to do and consulting with me on how to arrange my purchases. Flash forward to today: Brooke has worked with me on a complete rebuilding, design, and installation of a new kitchen, including the granite selected. My husband and I trust her so much we went with all of her color choices throughout the house for flooring, carpeting, wall colors -- everything. She redecorated my 3,000 square foot office, completely refurnishing it and my house. Yes, we used Jonathan's furnishings but we also checked prices, and they had the same or lower prices on every speck of furniture. And Brooke worked with my budget, too. I'm not wealthy by any means. Brooke just left my home after staging it for sale. What an amazing job she did! I will add some photos in a bit. By all means, just go in and say hi, take a look around. I wear and have always worn sweats in there (referencing an earlier negative review) and everyone was welcoming even when they didn't know me. My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted, a coffee table by a California design firm called Palecek. On their website we looked for a local OC dealer and found Jonathons Coastal Living on their list. We visited the store (loads of beautiful furnishings and objects there BTW) and spoke to Linda. Then several weeks later called back and asked her to send us the paperwork to order the table. Linda went above and beyond for us, she called Palecek and found out a new shipment of the table we wanted was coming in that week. She handled everything graciously and quickly. Even better, the table came in 2 weeks ahead of her projections, and it is now looking great in our new home. If we need any more furniture or accessories I know where I'll be shopping! read more

I absolutely love this store! My designer brought me here as she told me she totally loved the all the stuff they had. Ok, I had to see this for myself as I really wanted unique and good quality accessories to spruce up my new home with. The second I walked in the doors, I thought, wow! Amazing! No sooner than we stepped in that we were greeted by the sales people at the counter some distance away. We just took our time browsing at all the many really wonderful and unique items they had on their floor.....most of which I would absolutely love to have, but if only I had a 20,000 square foot mansion! But I don't. I have a smaller place and had to be very focused and selective. The task was tough, but we managed to find some really nice artwork and absolutely gorgeous lamps, etc. which I knew I just had to have, so I bought them without any hesitation. Yes, the prices are up there, but you get what you pay for, and it's highly likely that you won't find these items anywhere else. There's just nothing worse than going over to a friend's place and noticing that they have the exact same stuff you have! :) The girl who attended to us was very nice and helpful and even helped me carry the painting to the car to see if it would fit.....it didn't. So we took it back inside the store, she rang everything up, and even arranged for delivery (since the painting was too large to fit in our SUV) of all our purchases. So our experience here was just fine.....no complaints whatsoever. I will definitely be back as I still have lots of accessories I will need, but was only focusing on what I needed for now. They were friendly and helpful and in no way snobby or pretentious! We were definitely not ignored.....and yet, we were not constantly hounded and pressured to buy buy buy.... a very enjoyable, pleasant, and relaxing shopping/browsing experience Even if you're not really shopping for anything in particular, this store is definitely worth visiting just for the browsing experience. She has been amazing to work with and has done a phenomenal job of decorating to our style! She listens and brings great selections. We have purchased furniture pieces, rugs, curtains, accessories, lighting and have been so happy with everything. This business needs to open on Sundays. Working across the street as a security guard on the weekends. I notice a lot of window shoppers walking away empty handed when the door they try to open is locked. I gave it a 5 because I've never shopped there. These folks are amazing. I had questions about a specific set of furniture, what I wanted exactly, and just the right fabric. It took some research and some leg work on their part, which they did cheerfully. The staff TRULY did go the "extra mile" in meeting my exact specifications. I have loved this store from day one in Huntington Beach! Though at that time I was not looking for furniture I always found something beautiful in the way of a gift, accessory or floral arrangement. However, recently I was in the market for new furnishings. I happened to drive by their new store and spotted a big "Sale" sign. My car careened on two wheels as I pulled into their parking lot. Brooke greeted me and we immediately hit it off. With my small budget, she and owner, Jamie, put together "the most beautiful living room" that I could have ever imagined! My house is beautiful and I receive many compliments. My seasonal changes are wonderful and I always look forward to the surprises Chelsea has for our home. Beware! I purchased JRM $1000.00 beautiful mirror on a final sale event. The store employee removed mirror and took the mirror to the back to wrap it to be moved to my house. When we unwrapped the mirror the top was broken off and dried glue was smeared on the wood, which indicated the mirror had been broken in the store and I was not made aware of the damage. Being a final sale, I am stuck with a broken mirror. When I called the sales associate, she said "sorry". read more

Chelsea rude???? Do not know what happened there???? Jonathons is by far the top of the line, classy, many one of kind items. This store does not have snobby people in it.
