I've literally never written a review before, but this was the weirdest worst workout class experience I've ever had. I've done almost every studio in LA and NYC and work out 5-6 times a week, and feel pretty well-versed in the LA workout scene. (Tracey Anderson, Silver Springs, Barrys, Heated Room, etc etccc). so I feel like I can confidently say this was not right... like something is so off about this place I walk in, and they show me around, point out the amenities, but then tell me I can't use the locker room because it's for members only. Okay... fine. I go into the waiting area, and even though the class is listed as 10:45 AM, it doesn't actually start until 10:58 AM. We're all just sitting there on our mats waiting. Then the instructor (who is the owner) walks in without saying a single word and literally just starts working out full speed ahead. No intro, no warm-up, no cues, no hi, just starts like full workout mode in the mirror facing herself - just loud music and silence from her like she has a mic on but isn't actually using it. Maybe she was saying something, but the music was so loud you wouldn't know. I left the room not knowing what her voice sounds like.. Then, a girl with a camera walks in, records her for 10 seconds, and leaves. What?? That was strange, but okay. The class keeps going--still no cues, no counting, no nothing and every few minutes, this camera girl comes back to film her again. You never do a move for more than 5 seconds, so you just have to watch her in the mirror to even know what's going on. It felt less like a workout class and more like we were just there to watch her work out. Otherwise, why would there be no cues, no corrections, no countdowns... and a camera girl filming her the whole time Oh, and there was a full-on ring light set up in front of her to make sure she had good lighting for these video clips. Bad Business... I've been an online class customer since 2019. Last year I stopped my renewal subscription half way through the year on my iTunes app. Jan 1 2025- I had a charge from LEKfit for $439.99 for a recurring payment. I contacted through email on Jan 6 when I noticed the charges- thinking okay no big deal Im sure they will refund me, because this was a mistake. Nope- I have been corresponding over email for a week now with not much help, except then saying this is their policy- and I must have a email confirmation of cancelled services - which I have from my app only. Anyways , they won't refund me my money- even though I contacted them just days after charges. You would think they would have a grace period, or something prorated, or even a notification that you have an upcoming recurring charge. I guess this is how they run their business , and needless to say they have lost a long term customer. read more

I have done many workouts throughout the years to get to know what my body likes and what I can do without getting hurt. I was interested in this workout especially after my husband hurt his ankle we needed something low impact that was still effective. We bought the rebounders from LEKFIT and all the equipment we did not already have. Been doing the online studio since December 2023 and we both love it! It has helped workout muscles we didnt even think of. Plus I love Pilates and Lagree and this has elements of that as well. Our bodies are looking and feeling so strong! A must try. read more

First, let me make one thing clear: I am a female small business owner, and I do not write reviews out of spite. In fact, I hate that I even have to write this. But what's happened has left me no choice. I paid for a locker, and I bought their equipment. One day, I showed up for class, and they emptied my locker, stole my friend's and my stuff, and threw out my bag. Even worse, they admitted to doing it. I've been doing LEKfit since 2018--when it was a small setup in a garage. I've stuck around because I love the workout, but the toxic culture at this studio is impossible to ignore. It feels cliquey, like some twisted version of "Mean Girls." I've had other members cut in line in front of me, steal the trampoline I saved, and even yell at instructors for the most minor mistakes. And the staff? I've watched instructors scold their own team for something as ridiculous as a misplaced trampoline. The constant staff turnover makes it all the worse; it's depressing to walk in and see yet another familiar face gone. Many incredible LEKfit instructors have left over the years. Now, let me get to the most infuriating part. In the summer of 2023, I wanted to attend a Saturday morning class. But it was only open to members. So, feeling forced, I paid for the membership. And then, not even a month later, they opened those same classes to non-members. Can you imagine how livid I was? It felt like a total bait-and-switch--pressured into paying for something that immediately became unnecessary. I paid an outrageous $3,100 for a year-long membership. Honestly, I'm embarrassed to admit I spent so much. Also, You need to purchase LEK Equipment which costs about $300 per person, purchased directly from LEKfit, or else you're forced to rent it every time you attend class. They often add equipment to the classes and in which case you need to purchase more items. But it gets worse. When I showed up for class in August, I was shocked when I went to my locker, the one that comes with the membership, and all my belongings--over $600 worth of equipment, both mine and my friend's, plus personal items--were gone. GONE. No warning, no email, nothing. When I confronted the front desk, they had the audacity to tell me it was "policy." what policy it was, they could not tell me. They couldn't return my items because they didn't know where they were. I mean, seriously? I gave them my name, locker number, a detailed description of everything, and still, nothing. I left that day empty-handed, and I have every reason to believe my equipment has been thrown into their rental inventory. After a month of back-and-forth, I finally got some things back- they told me to get my stuff from the valet--but not my friend's equipment (and she's on medical leave, for goodness sake). A whole $300 set of equipment that she purchased from LEKfit that they refused to replace. It took them a month to return a random box of equipment that is still missing a 5-pound set of weights. The stuff they gave me also looks old and dingey, and the wrong set of gloves. They still owe me $25 for my tote that they threw out- they promised they would venmo this since they are taking responsibility for the loss. The toxic environment, the disrespect for loyal members, and the appalling customer service have ruined what should've been an enjoyable experience. I'm sickened that it's come to this, but I can't stay silent. I do this with the hope that I can spare someone else from wasting their time or money. read more

I started attending LEKFIT nine months ago. I was nervous to attend because I hadn't done a workout like LEKFIT before. From the moment you step in the studio you feel positive energy. You're greeted by the sweetest girls. They're so patient and kind and answered all of my questions. The studio is the cleanest most beautiful space I've worked out in. I started LEKFIT a few months into COVID when I was in desperate need of movement - specifically led by someone who knew enough about the body, strength, and support, so that I wouldn't end up injured! Especially without the in-person piece of working out the body, cues on form become super important. I did a trial with another workout streaming subscription before finding LEK, and this instructor gave very little to no cues on body positioning etc. and I did end up injured. So I was thrilled to find LEK, who sets streamers up with prompts and cues for body alignment that ALWAYS come at the perfect time! Just when I think something feels a little off, Lauren or the instructor will offer just the cue I need correct my form. I'm in my 40's now, so it's more important to me than ever that movement nourish and strengthen my body and not harm it. Injuries take longer and longer to heal from the older I get! Also, classes are FUN! The couple of times I've been ill and unable to workout, I'm always super excited when I can do the first workout in awhile. Lauren is such a masterful choreographer and strategist in how she plans the moves for each work out and from week to week! I also LOVE that she phases in heavier weights some weeks. My dad was a bodybuilder so I grew up lifting weights and I'm so appreciative she doesn't shy away from this, even though fitness trends might swing away from this. Also, high impact just doesn't work for me knees, so I ADORE the rebounder. I've never been so obsessed with a method of cardio in my life. Also, on days my muscles are sore, the rebounder portions of LEKFIT feels like a massage, so restorative while still working my heart! I also appreciate Lauren's approach to wellness in general, including the curated workouts, but also extending to the OTS content. It's such a rarity to find someone (much less in LA) who is so grounded about food, eating, and exercise. The workouts are all under 60 minutes. They are challenging but NOT punishing to the body. Her approach to food/eating that she shares seems to focus on eating when you're hungry, minimizing processed foods, and not putting anything 'off limits'. And then drink water and move somehow every day, even if it's just 5 minutes. It's such a sensible approach to living, especially in this time and place (2023 in LA) and I'm super grateful she's out there promoting a more centered approach to wellness. Last piece of praise, this may or may not be fair to evaluate, but I can't help noticing things like this. Even though I live in Southern California, I have never attended in person yet, only digitally as a streamer. Anytime Lauren needs things adjusted during a recorded live class (such as a side door open, music up/down, lights up/down), she doesn't stop the class, she just gently asks for a team member to help her out. She always says please and even when she needs to ask multiple times because a team member hasn't heard yet, she just keeps gently asking and saying please until someone is able to help out. This kind of stuff really matters to me, even though I know it's not directly related to the fitness content. And I really appreciate it when folks running things treat those they work with well - so I wanted to name that here too. You have to rent the equipment for an additional $10/class or bring your own. The instructor I had was more concerned with her own workout than leading the class. Class wasn't worth $45 ($35 class+ $10 equipment rental) in my opinion. read more

I have been working out with LEKFIT since 2019 and I cant say enough about how incredible this method is.. it is pure art, challenging everytime.. but so FUN. These workouts are curated to target different muscles groups each week but are always full body activation. I have never been stronger, healthier or happier since finding this method. Best there is. I called and emailed Lekfit to find out their mask and vaccination policies since it's an indoor gym and there was no indication on the website. I got vague answers which wasn't surprising being that their social media touts infrared heat and air filtration. What??! So I indeed went in to take a class and sure enough, instructors and students all maskless. Not a care in the world. Shame on them. read more
