I have been a customer for years. I gave the girl clothes and a coat and boots.i gave the old man a hat from aruba when I go.i am very good to those workers. Well I wasn't treated the same. I came in only 1 woman was waiting. Noone else. The old man took my order. Not big at all. I waited and waited. All of a sudden from nowhere an Indian couple with a kid is standing behind me and the old man is giving them a tray with food . Then they say it's to go. He starts packing it . And my order? No place. He shouldn't be working there anymore. Doesn't get orders right. And I walked out. This taught me not to give things to workers or big tips etc. Thanks for the lesson. I ordered a THEC SPK, blueberry bagel with butter, 2 muffins and a coffee with sugar and cream. The THEC was not that good. There was hardly any egg on it, nice thin slices of TH and the cheese/ketchup wasn't visible. I tasted too much roll. The service was good. I got what I ordered but it wasn't that good. The coffee tasted like whole milk instead of cream was used. The muffins were good, except one said banana cream when it was really banana nut. The other was mochaccino and they both tasted very good. They were made by amazinmuffin.com. The bagel was eh. One half tasted like blueberries and the other didn't. The ambiance was hot. Seemed like the AC wasn't working. I won't be back for an egg sandwich or a bagel. I might come back for a muffin. Go at your own risk. I do not recommend. read more

We were craving bagels so we came here randomly for a late breakfast. Upon walking in the older man working wasn't very welcoming. Without even a hello just asked what we wanted. We ordered two sausage, egg and cheeses; one on an onion bagel and the other on a plain. My boyfriend was picking out a drink and the man just says in a loud tone "anything else". We got startled but said no and paid for everything (around $15 for two bagels and an orange juice). After the encounter we lost hope the bagels would be good, but when we tried it in the car, fortunately they were BOMB. It doesn't look like it gets a lot of business because it's almost always empty when I go around lunch time. That also means that I get my order pretty quickly though. The bagels aren't really that great-looking and slightly hard....probably because little customers = slow turnaround and not so fresh baked goods I got their daily combo special which includes the sandwich (I got it on a Tuesday which is philly cheese steak and a little less than a foot long), a small macaroni salad, a can of soda, and a bag of chips. You get to choose the last two. The philly cheese steak was decent. The bread to meat portions was a little off. I could taste a lot of bread. The daily combo special is $7.45 and comes out to be $7.97 after tax. I think this is a pretty good deal for the amount you get. They also have a eating area which is pretty large. read more

Excellent, warm, crunchy/chewy bagels and a no-frills menu let them do what they do best: serve up the best egg sandwiches around. They also offer a variety of spreads. I can't speak for most (tofu?), but the scallion cream cheese is really good. Oh, and their tuna salad - I prefer it on a pumpernickel bagel - is a tasty, simple lunch. They make a solid cup of coffee too: available hot or iced. And have a large selection of fruit and vegetable juices, soft drinks, and iced teas (for you heathens who don't like fresh coffee!). Growing up in Jersey, this is where I first was weaned on bagels. To this day, I still think Lemoine serves, on average, the biggest bagels I've had including New York. That's not to say that they're the chewiest or springiest bagels I've ever had, but I've never gotten a bagel from Lemoine and been like "I wanted my equivalent of 4 pieces of bread, but this looks more like 2 pieces." When I first moved to Fort Lee in January I was ecstatic to have a bagel shop right up the street from me that actually has good bagels!!!!! They were warm and delicious - loved it! The past two visit have left me disappointed though. Not sure what is going on with this place but the quality seems to be sinking. So far so good! Second time and perfect! Little seating area separate from order station. Tuna isn't made with ten tons of mayo, thank god! Breads are great!
