DO NOT ORDER THROUGH DOORDASH! I placed an order the night before for catering I needed on my way to the airport for a private jet flight. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told they had no record of the order. Apparently their DoorDash system was down, even though the order still went through online. The owners were very apologetic and quick to try to rectify the situation. The owner explained that he knew they had an on going issue with Door Dash and had attempted to contact DoorDash about the issue but had no luck. I was charged by DoorDash and had to dispute the charge myself. While the owners were kind and the restaurant was clean, the experience was stressful and disappointing, especially when you're working on a tight timeline. Came here to try the bagels and croffle (croissant waffle). The food selection was pretty decent with breakfast items, lunch sandwiches, fresh juices, etc. I agree with the other reviewers comments. The owner or cashier (Asian) lady was a bit rude. When she rung me up, I asked to see the itemized bill as the amount seemed really high for ordering a croffle, a single bagel and 1/4 Lb side of cream cheese was over $18. She gave me an attitude and said that it was already on the screen. I indicated no, all I can see is the amount of how much tip to add. Then I exited out of screen and saw the amounts of where she did overcharge me for 1/2 lb of cream cheese. She didn't apologize, scoffed and acted like it was my fault!! I was super turned off by her attitude and they can stand to learn some better customer service. In addition, I saw in the back area where one of the workers handled food with his non-glove wearing hand. Sanitation standards should be reviewed here. Just moved to Edgewater and trying to find my new bagel place. This was in walking distance of my new apartment. They have a good amount of bagel flavors and spreads. The lox spread looked rather disappointing though, so didn't try it. Ended up ordering a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. It was a step up from a grocery store bagel, but it left a lot to be desired. What a disappointment. My husband and I moved to the area recently and haven't found our new "bagel spot" yet. After looking at reviews for a ton of places, we settled on this one. Had great reviews, and the breakfast burritos sounded amazing. Went in 15mins before closing to order a burrito and get a side of lox spread and a couple of bagels. We were rudely turned away by the staff because they said they already shut down the griddle. Ok, no problem. Pet peeve of mine, but no huge deal. If you are shutting down your grill and closing up shop fifteen minutes before closing, then change your posted business hours. I went to Bagles n' More on Saturday, 5/2, with my two sons and ordered takeout food for them. They have gone many, many times with their Mother to eat. I understand they are under a new owner. Unfortunately, the new owner doesn't understand how to treat her customers with respect. She is so tone deaf regarding treating her paying customers well that she may wind up going out of business. After ordering food for my sons (about 10 to 15 minutes passed), the new owner comes from behind the counter and orders my sons and myself outside of Bagles n' More to receive our food. No explanation. No reason. We had masks on due to coronavirus and were at least 6 feet apart from everyone else. Standing quietly. Why did she order us to go outside? Why? I was livid. I demanded an apology from the owner and coworker once the owner handed me our food. I repeated myself at least 50 times for them to apologize and they did not. These people offer the absolute worst customer service possible. The person answering the phone barely speaks English. They huff and puff when they don't want to make something. If you order a turkey sandwich everything is an extra charge, cheese, even lettuce and tomato is an extra charge. They make up prices as they go. They add a delivery fee if they feel like it.
