There are at least 2 other boba places from recognizable national chains a couple blocks away, but this one is locally owned. I stopped by about a half hour before closing on a weeknight. There were a couple customers already seated in the dimly-lit space. It looked like a college hangout, with a few tables and ample space to mill around and wait while being serenaded by Taylor Swift (the soundtrack of the night). I don't tolerate caffeine too well after a certain hour, so I was happy to see that they offered a decaf tea option in the form chamomile -- an unusual option at a boba shop. I got a hot chamomile tea with bubbles and half sugar. The bubbles were rather soft, even for a hot tea drink, and sweeter than I would've preferred, but it still hit the spot on a rainy fall night. If there were a next time, I would get 30% or no sugar added to offset the bubbles and the natural sweetness of the tea. The employees seemed nice, but I didn't interact with them much. The human-run register only accepted cash, so I ordered at the kiosk to use my card.

That's don't impress me much!…read more That's the feeling I have. Queens Cup has been on my list for about 3 years. I admit, I am weak for frosting so I figured this had to be a win for me. Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy. Overall I was let down and Queens Cup is off the return list.

"It's still too hot, gotta wait a few minutes." One of them said. It felt as if I were in my mom's kitchen, and I couldn't wait to see what was this baked good that we had to wait a few minutes for as the smell encapsulated the whole bakery. Everything here without a doubt is made fresh, and this was the proof in case there was any question. On this visit, we tried one of their baguettes to have alongside a kale and potato with cheese soup I made. Always a must is also their gluten free chocolate bundt cake, we ended up getting two slices, it's just too good!!! They also had freshly made pistachio macaroons as well as blueberry, we got one of each. both were amazing, but my favorite was the pistachio. I would be remiss to not mention that their coffee is amazing. Even just the cafe au lait, their coffee is really good. Just as we were paying, one of the girls brought out the baked goods to the front, baked crumble muffins. You could still see the hot butter bubbling at the top; absolute heaven! This little bakery is one of the reasons we come into Stockbridge, especially on a nice day; an absolute gem.

We just love The Lost Lamb!…read more We visit the area often from Upstate NY and on every visit a meal and/or goodies to take home from here are a must. The staff are professional and kind. The owner is talented and personable. The overall vibe is adorable and welcoming. The food is amazing and comforting. What more can you ask for? Some of our favorites are the chocolate chip cookies, ANYTHING chocolate cake (the bundt or any chocolate cupcake), and the roasted red pepper sandwich on their homemade baguette. The coffee and espresso drinks are also great. But everything we have tried? Has been so good! You truly can't go wrong. There's usually a wait, but I hope this review makes it abundantly clear it's worth it!

First off, it's definitely one of those small, tucked-away spots you could easily miss if you didn't know it was there, but once you walk in, the decor is so cute. Think cozy, shabby chic vibes that make it feel warm and welcoming right away. The standout for me? The dinner roll. Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. It was dense, rich, and satisfying, not your typical light, airy Kaiser roll. It reminded me more of a Jamaican hard dough bread in texture and weight, which I personally loved. Super flavorful and filling. I was also really happy about their buy three, get one free promotion. It made it easy to try a few different things without feeling like I was overdoing it. As for the pastries, I tried the cinnamon roll and carrot cake. I didn't finish either, but the carrot cake definitely gave true homemade vibes. It had coconut mixed in, wasn't overly sweet, and felt more traditional than indulgent. If you like a less sugary, more classic-style carrot cake, you'll probably appreciate it. Overall, this bakery is worth a stop, especially if you're exploring the pastry trail. Not everything wowed me, but there were definitely some highlights that made it a good visit.

The inside is really nice and cozy looking. I don't know if it's because we arrived at 3 (an hour before they close) but one of the women working there was busy sweeping and the other was off in la la land, just staring out yonder. Only when we were ready to order did she acknowledge us. Listen, I get it. You're tired, it's been a hard day and you wanna go home already, truly I understand. We were gonna get the coffee. drink it and leave but its the coffee itself that I had a problem with. I ordered the beach bum special. It was supposed to have all these summer flavors infused into it like coconut and what not and it didn't taste like anything. It tasted like a straight up bitter latte; I even had to add sugar because it was more bitter than what I'm use to drinking. I drank it because I just dropped $6 on a small cup but I honestly did not enjoy it at all. To add insult to injury, at around 3:30 the la la land lady started putting the bar stools up on the tables beside us and making all this clean up noise as if to let us know we were overstaying our welcome and we knew it was time to leave as did the other folks who were sitting beside us. We smiled at one another knowingly as we got up and left. Not only did the coffee leave a bitter after taste, but so did the experience; Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
