Not a bad place to get your tea fix! What I tried: Mango jasmine tea w/ mango pop topping ($4.50 as of 9/20 for a small) - Quite fresh. I strangely really enjoyed the mango pop toppings. Think of it as a boba filled with a mango liquid. Not too sweet but refreshing nonetheless! Strawberry fruit tea w/ lychee jelly ($5.50 for a large) - Also really good. It definitely doesn't taste artificial and I LOVE the lychee jelly. If you like lychee in any small capacity definitely get it with your fruit tea!

Boba spot for all the college students! Its usually busy and you do have to wait. For the most part their teas are good and boba quality is not bad too. However their boba is on the smaller side and I prefer bigger bobas for a better chew. I also really enjoy their macarons! They have good flavor selection and their macarons are pretty legit. Cute decor for pics!

I appreciate the variety of drinks they have and the ability to customize them, however the taste of the tea itself is pretty mediocre. There wasn't anything that stood out as I was trying it. I also wished this place had regular boba along with the mini boba From my experiences at other shops, here I wasn't asked about what I wanted for my sugar level and I wasn't asked about my ice level. Hence, my passion fruit tea was too sweet and without ice. (Perhaps it was just who was working that day) I really like the set up of the place (the vibe is great with a good amount of seating) and props to whoever drew those Pokémon drawings!

UPDATE I came back this fall semester and Lime Red had gone through a series of changes - rebranding of the logos, cup shapes, switch to mini boba, as well as the addition of milk foam. There is always a long line that doesn't seem to die down often throughout the day. I have gone back countless times since the beginning September, and the consistency with the drinks as well as the drinks themselves have majorly improved - at least from what I remember. I can't speak for the matcha strawberry (which used to be my go to drink), but I will try it soon and post a review for that as well. The caffeine content of the tea has increased quite a bit, but I am more sensitive to caffeine than most, so this shouldn't be a concern to the majority.

Excellent!! Stopped by with friends to take graduation pictures on campus and for our favorite boba! The smoothies with ice cream are to die for mango and passionfruit were delicious as always, also love the boba plushies. Awesome and quick service, love the new decor! We'll be back!!

Gosh, there's one thing about MA that makes me jealous: bubble tea. We just don't have bubble tea houses like this in Cleveland. LimeRed has such a cool vibe. It's a mix of people hanging out and chatting, young people on likely first dates from the internet and students working diligently at tables. They have a small but might list of milk and bubble teas. Tonight we opted for the jasmine milk tea with boba and the passion fruit bubble tea with boba. Both were super satisfying, and I love that you can order either at 75 or 50 percent less sweet. We also noshed on a peanut butter macaron because we have no self control, and it was to die for. If it's a nice night, sit on the bench outside and people watch while you sip your boba. The Teahouse is on a great street and there's a lot to take in! I wish I lived closer, because I'd probably visit here all the time. LimeRed continues to be a favorite stop when I'm out here.

The atmosphere is excellent: lots of natural light, brick walls, plants, light woods, stainless steel. Sound travels softly, so other conversations rarely interrupt your own thoughts or discussions. Music is usually low-volume and unobtrusive. The coffee is high quality. Baristas steam milk properly, pull good espresso, and clearly know their craft. My fiancé is a tea nerd and admits their selection and brew process are both superb. Pastries are good, though not something I actively seek out. Their original cocktails are inventive while still accessible, and they'll happily make most classics at market price. Beer on tap is local and consistently solid. Prices are certainly on the higher side, especially for coffee drinks and original cocktails. That said, I've never felt cheated by what I received. Still, there are occasional moments where friends look down at an iced latte and do a double take at the money that just left their bank account Their Service is great in my opinion. I've had the pleasure of becoming a regular for some of the evening crew. I couldn't find anything to comment on, they are attentive, patient, and clearly enjoy their craft. And watching them work is inspiring during some rushes. I like to try to get work done here, but it's not the most accessible place for that, and I imagine that's partly on purpose. Regardless of time of day or day of week, there is no guest WiFi; I'm unsure if it's a logistic issue, as I know their own POS WiFi is finicky at times, or perhaps they simply don't want to provide it. Nevertheless, if you want to work online, you will need to have a hotspot or equivalent. There aren't many wall outlets, so ensure your devices are charged if you want to camp. But that's okay! At its core, Amco feels more like a gathering space than a work cafe: somewhere to converse, debate, celebrate, drink good coffee or cocktails, and spend time with people. It's also a great place to bring a physical book, journal, or board game. The nights can be unpredictable in the best way. Sometimes there's live jazz, sometimes a special event takes over half the bar, and sometimes it's nearly empty and you end up having an excellent conversation with the bartender about this or that. Either way I'm always satisfied, and I imagine you would be too.

Yeah dawg rolled in, vibes are solid. It's a cute brick&mortar coffee shop. Nice jazz playing and…read morerustic feeling. However, I ordered a hot chocolate - it's literally just milk and powdered chocolate. Paid $4 for it. And there's no wifi and like one outlet. So basically, solid vibes but little functionality.

The café here, West Street Coffee & Tea, uses their square footage to pack a few tables, and a bookshelf or two with possibly the proprietor's gifted collection for customers to read. The West Street Coffee & Tea helps you feel at home stopping in for some coffee, a selection of a quick breakfast sandwich, a pastry from the bakery across the parking lot, or some other treat. I have enjoyed a quality and consistency of service, not only filling out punches on my loyalty card, but appreciating both my drinks and my meal. The kitchen staff has served me quickly when they are not my talented cashier and barista as well--though do consider this a compliment worth tipping the staff for their ability to know how to run a café in part or in whole. The West Street Coffee & Tea boasts a humble parking lot, but the sizable line of parking spaces allows cars to park and then usually drive forward to depart. This fits that the five to six tables are set well in each of the rooms they rest, with ample light from the interior and exterior. I could imagine the drink staff would keep up with a variety of orders that are park and departing, so be mindful that there is parking at other corners of the plaza rotary on busy hours like at other restaurants within Amherst. Busses do travel by, and I'd suppose those from the PVTA that go between Amherst and Hampshire might even stop here. For a quite accessible location, I can only imagine they enjoy being a secret delight of this area of south and east Amherst.

Before the menu change, I ordered a vegan tofu reuben with their delicious slaw, called a "Cosmos."…read more It was so good, I ordered it again, thinking it was impossible for them to get it right two times in a row. They did. So I came back a THIRD time and ordered it AGAIN, just to see if they can still keep their vegan cheese melted just right on top. It was incredible, AGAIN. Now that I've gotten this out of the way, ask where it is on their new menu as it is under revision--I don't like the tempeh version as much. Onto the rest of the atmosphere of Cushman. One of the most pleasant features of Cushman Market and Cafe is that it is nestled at an important corner in northeast Amherst. You need to travel further west to get to The Mill District and not much opens there early, and there's little else I can recall in the other cardinal directions. It's a pleasant trip, with plenty of parking in front, behind, and in a strip of side road across the street. I've never been in the market, so let me keep talking about the Cafe. The atmosphere of the Cafe is wonderful, with locals, safety officers, and regulars all visiting at each meal hour from breakfast to lunch. Nestled inside what looks like an old barn, complete with doors still hanging, Cushman has memorabilia from decades of music, sports, politics, and news frozen under acrylic, different for many of their tables. The café seems to have at most 20 chairs, and the staff behind the counter will deliver it to your table, call your name, or leave other orders by a stand near the back entrance. Cushman Cafe offers a variety of meals, alongside baked goods and freshly mixed café drinks. While I'm not a fan of the switcherels, I have enjoyed their dirty Chai lattes, iced teas, fresh coffees, and free water if I recall in a pinch. They have gender neutral bathrooms--which is great if you're tired of waiting in line for one of two as they are large but single occupancy. They offer cold panini sandwiches, hot panini, all sorts of eggs, egg sandwiches, and egg breakfasts, vegan and vegetarian options, alongside a seemingly visible carnivorous focus for their new menu's default. If you had a chance to hop on a bus and travel around Amherst, or you were passing through to the highways, Cushman Cafe is worth a quick stop. I've rarely had to wait long for my meals even in busy hours, and this is because of the large and competent kitchen, who--if you'll remember--can get a delicious sandwich right any day of the week. I hope cell service returns there!
