2 Al pastor and 2 carne asada tacos.
    Scott V.

This place has become a weekly stop for me. I hit it up at the start of the week and by mid week I'm already thinking about my next visit. These are great tacos starring some amazing handmade tortillas and flavorful meat fillings. After trying some other taco spots in the area I've come to the conclusion that if these aren't 5 star tacos then 5 star tacos don't exist.

Great tacos. Fast, great selection. Very reasonably priced. Great little spot. Food truck/trailer is deceiving. Good clean food.

I'm a tough critic when it comes to food, and they get no notes from me. Every dish was a standout. I've never heard of a scallop roll before, but I want 3 more of them right now. And the lobster grilled cheese will forever hold a special place in my foodie heart. Awesome job guys! Highly, highly recommended!

Shuckin Truck was an absolute hit! They set up the outdoor raw bar...clams (littlenecks), oysters, and shrimp on ice, in a very attractive manner. The table was manned by a charming "shucker". There were an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres which included lobster grilled cheese lobster triangles...these were indescribably delicious. Everyone was oohing and aahing over these. I also loved the smoked salmon on toast and the small cups of really tasty clam chowder. All the appetizers were incredibly delicious although I would say the lobster grilled cheese was the biggest hit. All of the staff were polite and friendly. After the appetizer round, the lobster rolls came out and they were simply spectacular. They were true New England lobster rolls on toasted square edged (this is key) frankfurter buns, and absolutely stuffed with chunks of delicious lobster meat that had been lightly dressed with mayo. Those rolls were out of this world, deliciously prepared and very generously filled with sweet lobster meat. They also served fabulous fish tacos. For the non-seafood eaters of which there were none at this party, they served a pulled pork taco which was spicy and delicious. The portions were generous and the food just kept on coming out. While there was plenty of additional food at this party from other vendors as well as some homemade additions, Shuckin' Truck was my favorite part of the overall feast. Great job! I would not hesitate to hire them for a party or to seek out the food truck wherever it was parked!

Skinny Pines aims to keep its pies as local as possible, buying all its produce and many of their key ingredients from farms in Connecticut and New York. In fact, Borofsky and his truck are headquartered in Easton, just less than five miles from Sport Hill Farm, where they are regular customers. The dough is made from hard red winter wheat, a 100% whole wheat grain milled to 00, sourced from Wild Hive Farm and Bakery in Clinton Corners, New York. The dough itself is treated to a 12-hour cold fermentation before it's left to rise for its weekly market appearance. This whole wheat dough is used on each and every Skinny Pines pie. The combination of finely ground 00 whole wheat flour and the wood-fired oven creates a light and airy crust, with just a hint of pleasant nuttiness. The Bianca is my recent pie pick, a white kalamata olive and rosemary pizza. They gave sour cream, guac, and salsa on the side, and the burrito was served with a side of rice (no beans though, which I thought was unusual. The burrito was good and the portion of meat inside was generous. The rice that it was served with was a bit boring but tasty nonetheless. I found the whole thing to be a bit lacking in flavor. The salsa and guac were both terrible, which is always my minimum bar for measuring Mexican restaurants. If the salsa and guac aren't at least decent, it's not worth its muster. The birria tacos were pretty tasty and I was impressed by the flavor of the consommé. The birria itself could have been a little more moist and tender, but the flavor was decent. They were reasonably inexpensive ($12 for three I believe). All in all, food probably would have tasted better with a strong margarita alongside it, but it wasn't a horrible lunch by any means.
