We stopped in to grab dinner takeout and the owner (gentleman working) was incredibly nice and welcoming. It was our first time in and the food was incredible. I had the steak kabab plate with French fries instead of rice (I'm a sucker for French fries). The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and the flavor was sooo good - idk if they have a special ingredient or if it's the quality of the ingredients but I literally can't stop thinking about the steak, garlic paste, and the French fries. Not to mention how welcoming and friendly the owner was, I felt like family. My only regret is that we hadn't tried them sooner, we'll definitely be back! Owners of this restaurant are amazingly nice. This is a family ran restaurant and the food literally tastes unlike anything Mediterranean I've ever tried. This is our third or maybe 4th time here and compared to other Mediterranean restaurants, their food here are freshly cooked and delicious. I had their tender lamb chops again and it never disappoints with the babaganoush paste. Jack and his staff are nice and kind people, very attentive and will joke around at times. The prices went up a little but it's still worth it, in my opinion. There are 3 tables good for two or 3 and another table good for 4. Additional 2 tables are outside. Sorry I didn't see any restrooms inside and I guess they don't serve alcohol. But they do catering and we tried them once for a birthday. Honestly, the food were all gone at the party. Tried this establishment for lunch takeout and the chicken kabab plate ($12 plus tax) was super delicious, a filling portion. The marinated chicken was moist, flavorful, and tender. The hummus, rice, and salad were all great, too. The plate comes with a piece of pita bread. I do wish it came with those marinated pickles that's sometimes served with these plates. Minus 1 star because I think I got overcharged for a can of soda, at least $3 or $3.50. I'm looking at an old menu photo on this Yelp page and it said $1.25 price for soda. Even though that photo was taken over a year ago, yeah I most definitely got overcharged for a can of soda. This establishment should put up a sign or add to their hanging menu board drink prices, that would be helpful and wouldn't be false advertising or seem like a pretense for deceptive pricing. There is a couple small tables inside for people who aren't doing takeout. The ambience is average noise level but it was quite stuffy and got too warm sitting inside waiting for our food. So, I would suggest takeout preferably. The owner (who also cooked our food fresh) was nice and provided friendly customer service. Recommended lunch spot for fresh Mediterranean food. This was a lovely surprise. We were looking for a restaurant to stop and get dinner at while we waited for the eastbound traffic to ease up a bit. We are so glad we stopped in at JF Mediterranean. A regular was getting lamb chops and told us they were the best in the country. We ordered the lamb chop plate and the combination plate. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious! They were tender and juicy and filled with flavor, as were the beef and chicken kabobs. This is a little family owned business and the owner's pride in his restaurant is evident. We ate there but there seemed to be several regulars popping in to pick up takeout. I didn't take pictures because I wasn't expecting dinner to be that tasty. I'll take pictures next time. I love finding neighborhood, Mediterranean grills. I ordered my meal and the first question I asked was does it come with onions? He said no I said OK well to my surprise when I got there to pick up my order, he had grilled some onions for me. I thought that was so above and beyond nice for the owner to do.
