And the chicken kabobs were testimony to how delicious chicken kabobs can be - golden seared on the outside, tender white meat on the inside and perfectly seasoned making them the best kabobs I've ever had! All the tasty sauces and dips perfectly complemented the top quality meat. We loved the baba ganoush (so flavorful!) and the house-made tahini (you cannot get this smooth flavor at home!), and the garlic sauce, tzatziki, hummus and garlic potato salad just took the delicious meal over the top! And also, their fountain drinks were perfectly crisp, fizzy and delicious. Fady, one of the owners, took time to check on us, ask us how we liked the food and have an enjoyable conversation with us. The dining area is nicely decorated with pretty lighting, the music was lively and had me dancing in my seat, and the whole restaurant and restroom are nice and clean. I don't know if I've ever written a review IMMEDIATELY after tasting a restaurant's food. But Tut's was so delicious, I didn't want to forget to let everyone know! I didn't actually place the order, a co-worker did. So I'm not sure the exact name of the meal or plate that I had. But it came with very well-seasoned tender beef, rice, hummus, a cucumber salad, and a type of bread/pita. This was literally one of the best food experiences I've had in a long time. Everything was so fresh and seasoned & cooked to perfection. The rice was perfect and the meat was so tender. There was also a garlic flavored sauce that I wasn't too familiar with but it was super delicious too! I mentioned to my coworker how much I liked it and asked how long he'd been going there. He said it was his first time having it too. He was equally as impressed as I was and mentioned how much he enjoyed how much flavor it had. We've gotten Tut's from DoorDash a few times now, and everything about it is great--delicious, fresh food, appetizers are great, big portions, great value, etc. I stopped in a couple weeks ago and met Freddy. He's a super cool guy and started talking to me about cars, which I always love talking about. We just ordered through DoorDash again and this time I got the lamb chops. Everything is always so good! Located where Rika's empanadas used to be, there is ample parking on a Saturday evening. Inside is clean and bright with a good sized dining area. Right off the bat, we were encouraged to hear positive feedback from a customer in line. Very comfy dining area with nice lighting and plenty of seating. The hummus with beef schwarma was BOMB. Beet Salad, always a win for me. The Baba Ganouj (eggplant) is an absolute star for me. And every time we've gone, it's been nothing but wonderful warm service with gratitude. Also do NOT cheat yourself of getting the in house made pistachio baklava, absolutely perfect in every way! GREAT FOOD. I ordered Lamb Kabob plate with Hummus and Baba Ganoush. They are very creamy and are not skimming on oil drizzled over them. The owner cooked lamb to my liking, medium well and came out pink and tender. Rice is moist and flavorful and he even grilled the pita to make it hot when asked. The beef kebob is also very good. You can't go wrong with either. We love that you can choose from an assortment of side dishes here. We are in love with their potato salad. It's so addicting! We're also fans of the cucumber yogurt salad, which is a really refreshing complement to whatever proteins you get. Oh, and I can't not mention their rice. I could eat an entire bowlful of their rice alone. It's especially good once it absorbs all of the juices from the meat and becomes ultra-packed with flavor and comfort. Plastic utensils and a to go box is how the meal is served at the restaurant which has ample tables. Get your own utensils. A table of 4 sitting next to us received their meals about 5 minutes before us even though we had ordered 8 minutes before them. Even though we got there at 5 PM, they were out of some basics. There was just one employee working doing it all and let me tell you he knocked the food right out of the park. He was very friendly and very helpful. Also the garlic sauce provided was smooth and tasty, not too spicy. The tabbouleh was refreshing. The potato salad was good as well, large chunks of potato and tasted great. Ever since we read on Facebook about someone's experience trying out Tut's Kabob and how much they enjoyed it I've wanted to try it. We came today, March 8th and ordered the mixed kabob plate. We chose lamb and chicken kabobs with sides of baba ganoush and potato salad. They came on a bit of rice with a large piece of pita bread. There was also a small container of garlic sauce. I have not had that delicious or tender lamb in absolutely years. It was incredible! The chicken was also delicious as was the baba ganoush and the bed of rice the kebabs were on. Next time I am there, I will get hummus instead of the potato salad, which, while not bad, did not stand out in any way. They also had fabulous made in house baklava. All in all, a very nice experience. All of the food was served in to go containers, which made it easy to just pick up and take the leftovers home.
