I moved to Texas February this year, and fly back to visit my family for Holidays. Every time I've visited 2024 and 2025 I have had a great experience until yesterday. I booked a 12:30 pm appointment for a 90 minute massage. Upon walking in I was greeted by a lady who said you booked for 90 minutes? I replied yes and as we walked to the room a woman popped her head out of another room speaking angrily. The lady helping me started laughing and said this lady is an angry lady. The second woman said you don't tell customer I'm an angry lady. The two lady's started fighting as I started to undress, I could hear them rumbling outside the room. I looked out my room and they were tussling with one another and one ran out the door. I really should have departed but really needed a massage. This was the worst decision I made. I could feel all the negative energy flowing through the masseuse and she gave me the worst massage ever. Twice during the massage she went out the room to argue with the other lady. Need your Aura/Chi/Ki, massaged? Look no further! Took my mom here for her birthday for two 90 minute massages. I only saw 2 women working and they took us to a room that was divided by a curtain. Right off the bat, the girl I got was 10 minutes late and started maybe 15 minutes agter my mom's did. Then when asked if i wanted light, medium, or deep pressure, i asked for deep. Well, this woman was pribably trying to massage my aura or something because it was so light! I was only slathered in oil for 20 minutes, got my head rubbed for 20 minutes, and only massaged over the sheet for 30... i like to try different spas to keep things fresh, but that was the WORST massage ever. My mom? Same thing. She said she even asked the lady if she was tired because she kept yawning and just lightly smoothing the sheet over her skin. We still tipped and paid, but we didnt think it was earned. They definitely need to teach those ladies how to give priper massages. Their technique and pressure was sooooo bad! read more

Hello Yelp community! I've always came to Lemon Tree Spa for when I wanted to get a good massage. I've been coming here for a few years now and have even introduced my family to this place. My most recent visit was last Friday where I came with my wife and mother. For the entire duration of our experience, all 3 therapist can't stop talking to each other. Not only that, they weren't as focused on their craft as expected and our overall experiences were horrible. We left there feeling more stressed and felt dirty in a way. There's lotion all over us! It was just gross!! I will not go back there again and have my family go through this. In addition since they share adjacent walls to a popular Thai Restaurant, the noise level is beyond bearable at best. Now I have to search for a new place! read more

Okay, either reviewers are too picky or they really cleaned up their act recently. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely go back again. Full disclosure: I am a CA Certified Massage Therapist and have been for over 15 years. To say that I'm jaded regarding massage would be a gross understatement. I can tell in less than 3 minutes if I'm about to get a good massage. And if it sucks, I'll stop the service so as to not waste their time or my money. My wife (booked 1 hr for $20) was recovering from nasal surgery and could not be face down at all. They totally accomodated her needs and did all her massage face up. Her therapist, Sonia, was strong and quiet. Quiet is important to us. It's not relaxing to hear people answering phones or talking with customers or each other. She checked in on pressure a few times and made sure my wife was comfortable. Wife watched the clock and did get her full time. I had Shawn (booked 90min for $35). I needed body work SOOO badly. He took me to a room, where I disrobed completely, covered myself with a sheet and went face down for most of an hour. I'm telling you this dude's work was cut out for him! He uses a lot of oil, which I normally don't like, but the oil was very light and gave him the glide he needed to push the meat off the bones along my spine. He pushed, stretched, held trigger points 'til they relaxed and gave excellent tapotement. After he finished my back side, he told me to get dressed and come out to recliner. When I got there, he had the foot soak ready for me. While I soaked, he worked on my scalp and face. He took the foot bath away and went to town on my feet and legs with every bit of energy like he used on the Shiatsu. TIPPING: If you get a 60 minute massage--and I don't care how little you pay for it--you should tip at LEAST $10. Folks complaining about tipping $5 are massage-ignorant. To Rudy D., how would you feel about getting a few bucks for pushing around flesh for an hour? I tipped $15 on the hour massage and $25 on the 90 minute. Which probably explains the looks of shock from our therapists. Apparently, some of their customers don't know a good massage from a hole in the ground. Granted, it's no Burke Williams. Not fancy by any stretch. But each room was clean and each customer we saw left happy. The *only* negative feedback I have is that there's no separation from the front door and the reclining chair area. People walk in talking, not realizing there are massages in session right in front of them. read more

I tried this place while in the area and went in as a walk-in. The receptionist was very friendly and polite and was able to accommodate me for a massage... Let me tell you that this experience was absolutely amazing. The masseuse was excellent and she had strong hands and elbows. $20 for an hour foot massage includes head, neck, arms, back - I made OOhs and AAhs sounds getting my back massaged! I had the Chinese guy and my BF had a white lady, who he said wasn't that strong. You clothes are on, but I wore PJ pants so I can roll them up past my knees, and for maximum comfort. It's an open room with recliner chairs, so don't expect anything fancy. It's cheap and gets the job done. The workers try to speak softly, but end up making noises with the plastic bags they line in the foot soak and you can hear the restaurant customers next door. I recommend calling ahead. There's a sign that said $5 tip is minimum for $20 massages. Funny how they have a sign for something that is optional, but of course you should always tip! read more

I love the prices! 30 minute shiatsu massage for $24! You don't need to change your clothes though, and they'll just cover you with towels and massage you like that. I also love the fact that they're open late. The thing I don't like about this place, like all Asian places, is that they talk about people in their native tongue. Little did they know that I'm Chinese too and know the language :) Hahah! It reminds me of how health care workers can't talk about their patients because the family might hear it. My mom likes coming here but I don't like it that much. I called yesterday to make an appointment at 6pm for 2 Foot Massages, the man who helped me said they only had 4:30 and 7:30 available so I said I would call back. He then discounted what he said and said we could come in at 6pm when he just said there was nothing available. I get a call at 5:30 from a demanding lady saying we can't be late because they have another appointment coming in. I really don't care what time anyone else comes in and it's very unprofessional to even mention that to a customer. We come in at exactly 6pm and the mood is just not relaxing. You could tell she was upset that he took our appointment. Our massage also was not a full hour, it was 55 mins because their appointment had already showed up. Well, well, well, what can I say. I've been having Jan as my facial lady for 10 yrs now and I can't go to other facial places. I tried so many places and I don't mind at all to drive another 30 miles just to have Jan and/or Katherine to do my facial. They're very very good in doing extractions, as well as massaging my face, neck, and shoulder. I caught myself so many times snoring with my mouth open while they put mask on my face. So embarrassing! They're not the typical facial places that sell you stuff that you're feeling obligated to buy or the frequent programs like buy 10 and get one free facial. From my experience, that go to facial once a month, I don't think I trust anyone else doing my face beside Jan and Katherine. read more

Just now getting out from this massage place , massage was pretty good , however the customer service was crappy, my husband called earlier that day asking for an appointment which he got, but once we got there we had to repeat ourselves over & over again to the guy at the entrance, after that we sat for our massage, throughout the whole session they kept talking, not relaxing at all if you ask me. They kept laughing & there was another worker watching videos on her phone which was pretty loud, we were getting ready to pay already & The lady didn't even finish letting us pay when she pointed at the tip section, very rude. This is my 2nd time visiting this location & it is always such a relaxing escape. My only small concern about the business is when you enter your already placed in the massage room which makes it slightly awkward having to whisper to the receptionist, maybe a small lobby or a movable wall would help. Enough about that though, let's talk about my massage. I was lucky enough to be given a fantastic massage by Sean (I highly recommend him) after a stressful day at work. I normally get the foot massage for $20, where it's normally not just a foot massage but a full body massage (brownie points), but today was a rough day at work so I thought I'd treat myself to the foot & Shiatsu massage for $35. I called for a last minute appointment for a party of 2 And they accommodated us at 8:30pm. I appreciated this because my foot and back was hurting. Amy did a good job during the shiatsu massage. She applied deep pressure which I need. I would come back here again for a $20 or a $35 hour massage. My husband and I recently came here for $40 a person for the reflexology combo. We came here with no schedule and as walk in... The service was good actually great oh, but the massage really wasn't. The reason why it wasn't so great was because they massage me as if my toddler boys massage me like slap my back around picked my arms and legs up and down and massage my back with no effort. I can't believe I paid $40 per person for a simple slap around massage like that if that was the case I should have taken on this business and not be a nurse because they are making bank just picking ligaments up and down and not even massaging properly, easiest money making business around. I had high hopes for this place. First of all there is no receptionist so you just wait and wait and wait until someone comes out (the person who came out was massaging someone). No one speaks much English. When I called 2 different times the person answering the phone spoke English. I wanted to be sure everyone was vaccinated, he assured me they were, now I'm not so sure. The person massaging me spoke no English so I had to point to a picture of what I wanted. The massage itself was very unsatisfying, no pressure was applied and really my toes were pulled for 15 minutes....really? For you own health, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! Where is the negative 5 star button? The price you have to pay is more than you can afford. It's easy to just rant, so I will just give you the facts to speak for the gross negligence and incompetence of Jan at Lemon Tree. She told me before the mole removal procedure that my scabs would fall off on day 3 and the redness should be gone after 7-10 days. I ended up with a staph infection on my face from her procedure. One side of my face was so swollen that my eyes were nearly swollen shut. When I called Jan, she kept telling me this was normal. I had to be hospitalized to get intravenous antibiotics because even with oral antibiotic medication, my treated areas were swelling up beyond control. My recovery took over a month. This experience sounds quite unbelievable, but unfortunately, I really did suffer through all of this. Worst experience of my life and the moles are still there. Stay beautiful and healthy by staying FAR FAR away from this grossily irresponsible and unprofessional establishment. read more

A more personal anecdote: Was referred to Jan by a family member who suffered from moles, but now has glooooowing skin. Flat moles or DPN (google it) are an annoying trait that runs on maternal side of my family. Rather than passively wait for the condition to become unsightly, I consulted Jan to have them removed early in life, prior to their enlargement and/or proliferation. When I entered the establishment...pregnant pause...dubious is not the word. i was immediately escorted into the back area where I was made to lay on an esthetician table and have my cheeks, neck and decollete examined. She named the price, 120 dollars, I agreed....and began to pray to myself. Perhaps I've watched too much Nip/Tuck or perhaps I am just a worry-wart. . A dermatologist told me my condition wasn't bad enough for him to treat me yet. Jan was the third esthetician I'd seen because I'd been turned away by others who were "apprehensive about working on darker complexions". Thirty minutes later I was done with the procedure. Painless, but scabby. Armed with a vial of Neosporin and a wide-brimmed hat I was cleared to go, with the assertion that any moles that were not treated would be removed for free. Seven days later, I am almost at 100% recovery. All my facial moles are gone, my skin is the smoothest that it's ever been in my adult life and, and I have a little pep in my step. I have a few remaining scabs which look like freckles on my neck area but who's really paying close attention to my neck? Lemontree has my vote of confidence.
