Because of that history, it makes me especially sad to write this review. To be fair, several of my consigned items did sell, and I appreciated that the team was willing to discuss pricing rather than simply assigning a number without input. The store also continues to have a well-curated selection of inventory. Unfortunately, after my experience consigning with them, I would never trust them with high-value items again. At the end of my consignment period, I went to pick up my unsold items and was assured that everything had been accounted for. Thankfully, I keep detailed records because I immediately realized that a brand-new pair of Dior shoes was neither returned to me nor included in my payout. After several conversations, I learned that the shoes had been sent to the Carmel location for a customer to consider purchasing. I was never notified that my items were being moved between stores, and the store had completely lost track of them. Even after the mistake was discovered, it took several more weeks of follow-up and back-and-forth before my shoes were finally returned to me. Had I not maintained my own inventory list, I'm not convinced the issue would have been caught at all. Customer service was also disappointing. One staff member is consistently dismissive and unpleasant to deal with, and I've heard similar feedback from several friends who have shopped or consigned there. When you're entrusting a business with luxury items worth hundreds or thousands of dollars, communication and inventory management need to be impeccable. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. While I appreciate that some of my items sold and that the store still has a great eye for merchandise, this experience was enough that I won't be consigning--or shopping--here again.

You do realize your Polk store is selling damaged clothing? I saw a couple items in your store with broken clasps and buttons. If you want me to "show the same care and respect for others' clothing as you and your team do" then I should have broken some clothing. Its funny how your employees seem to put more energy into berating your paying clients rather than taking care of the clothes. They could have asked me to pick up the jeans at ANY time, in a polite and professional manner, and I would have handed the jeans to them or done so. They waited till I was about to leave to scold and berate me. As for my cat and running out of space in the dressing room, I had gone to the vet nearby before coming to your store to check out clothes. Your employees could have collected the jeans at any time. That does NOT give your employees a reason to berate me. The photos: I took the pictures BEFORE your manager asked me to stop. Once she made that request, I did stop and left the store without buying something. I will not take down the photos because they were taken in a public place and reflect my review of your business. You can feel free to report my photos and if Yelp feels it violates any guidelines such as safety reasons. I asked for a first name to be SURE I didn't incorrectly mis-identify a staff member in my review. I'd hoped that as a store owner, you would understand that. I said this to your manager, who said Carol (dark haired employee) but didn't give me the name of the blond haired employee who I wanted to compliment and praise. So I left her out of my review. Upon chatting with the owner I found she's well travelled and has family in Europe too. Her shop has a lovely vibe and beautiful things that are different, not that is in every corner store. When I went in the store the young lady asked what I was looking for and what was the occasion. I explained what I had in mind, she said let me show you a couple dresses, one was a maybe and the other was a no. She showed me the next one and it was perfect, I tried it on and didn't even need to try the other dress. Amazing, I have never gone in a store, brought three items in, tried one on and it was perfect! I then thought, it doesn't have a price and I'm sure it's going to be expensive... but I loved it and told myself I'll pay $300. I asked how much and she looked it up, $125! I'll take it . I also told her and her Mom the owner of the store that I was looking for something for my five year old granddaughter as a shawl, showed her the dress she was wearing to the gala and the owner said wait right here I think I have something perfect. She came back and she was right! Then she was kind enough to give it to us. This store is amazing, I'll definitely go back for another update to my closet. Great selection of quality clothing and a fair price! You can't beat the customer service. A word of caution, pay attention to the parking signs, I parked one block up and didn't see the street cleaning signs. Yeah, well it closed down but No Shop has risen through Thrift Towns ashes and the legacy of vintage lives on. The staff is exceptionally stellar!!!!!!!!!! They were so nice to me, gently letting me know that my YSL bag was a counterfeit, to educating me on why a diamond studded red velvet dress is a hard sale in the middle of summer. They don't take brands you are familiar with, but I did see some Nautica and American Apparel in there...but for the most part no H&M, Forever 21, Hollister, Abercrombie, zara etc. Beautiful collection of vintage clothes, from a Jacqueline Onassis inspired pink dress to a Save the Earth vintage denim jacket, and a planet on it's back studded with sequins. I picked up three fabulous glasses--one that my son that was monster like glasses that he loves and two super sparkly badazzle ones for my daughter and me. They have a fantastic selection of bedazzled vintage boots that I couldn't resist, so I had to go back and grab a pair because they were just too cute and the prices were amazing. I bought my glasses, left, and then immediately returned for the shoes because the deal was too good to pass up. I'm thrilled with my purchases and how little I spent. It is pricey, but I've never felt as though something weren't worth what it cost. The quality is really high. The woman who works there is great too. No high-pressure sales. She is very helpful and knowledgeable about what they sell but doesn't push at all. I tend to see something but not purchase until I've seen it a few times, sometimes over a period of weeks, and that doesn't phase her at all. Even after the first few times I visited and didn't buy anything, she always treated me like a valued customer and, so, I have now become one.

I've been on a 70s polyester kick lately, buying up all the wildly patterned, wide-lapelled blazers I can find. I dropped in here over the weekend for the first time to see what they had and found 70s prints galore and a bunch of amazing jackets to try on. My favorite was a red, white, and blue chevron duster but it had a few issues, such as seams open in three areas and a number of fabric pulls. There were also some confusingly-placed buttons randomly sewn/pinned on but at least those are always nice to have as back-ups. In retrospect I feel a little guilty about having hinted at a discount. It's a fun and special piece and I feel lucky to have it. Thankfully, though, the young lady at the counter was totally gracious about it. In the end, it was worth the hour-ish I spent that evening closing up the seams, pulling through the larger fabric snags, and removing the superfluous buttons. I should note that my duster seemed to be an exception because everything else I looked at was in terrific vintage condition. This is a wonderful shop and I am so excited to have finally found it!

The lady at the counter was super sweet! We left with a nice cashmere dress, elegant yet stylish, and a plaid Pendleton wool shirt... both under $100 each and with zero blemishes. Great quality, decent price, fun and relaxed vibe.
