I order online all the time, and packaging can really be hit or miss depending on who's packing it. That said, I was truly impressed with how my order arrived. I initially ordered the gray sweatfleece set (top and bottom), and the packaging was beautiful, neat, and thoughtful. I had to return it because it was too big, but when I reordered, the second package was just as nicely done. Five stars for consistency and care. As for the sweatfleece itself, I love it. The material is thick, warm, and absolutely worth the price. It feels well made and durable, and I can already tell this is something I'll be wearing for years. Long time customer. A few of us were met with a very disgruntled cashier today. Heavier set with a head scarf that worked downstairs. It was disappointing to experience this at an Aritzia store, which usually employs the most upbeat, positive sales people. I don't know how she made it through the interview process but it was clear she did not enjoy her job and was taking it out on a few customers during a holiday week. Instead of receiving an apology or assistance, I was treated rudely by the staff and made to feel like I had done something wrong. Lost a long time customer (15+ years) who spends 5-10k every year at Aritzia. 95% of my wardrobe is Aritzia, I shop and spend a lot. In a recent order, I returned all 4 items but they only refunded 3 - They wont refund me bc they said I didn't return the dress. When I pressed them on it they told me "to provide the best service" that I can no longer order from them. lol. So now I'm out $150 and need to and WILL easily find a new place to shop (more on this later). Read reviews - there are endless experiences similar to mine so beware if you want to be out a lot of money and treated like trash. Also Poshmark has a truly endless amount of aritzia items at a fraction of the cost. And I mean unlimited contour, effortless, active, sweats, basically every item you could find on Aritzia.com. So if you need these items it's very easy to get without supporting them directly. Plus brands like theory and Vince offer same styles and less polyester. read more

I have to agree with Yelpers who say that some people who work at this store have vibe issues. While my own incident happened over a year ago in August it stuck with me. My incident: A cis-white woman popped out of a door behind the register while I was in line. She walked up to me and said aggressively, "Do you have a problem?" I said, "I'm sorry, what?" because I was truly confused as to what her insecurity meant. The woman next to her calmed her down by whispering that I hadn't said anything. I ordered a $43 shirt from Aritzia--a small purchase, but one I was excited about. The item wasn't in stock at the store, so it was shipped to my home. It never arrived. Based on tracking and timing, it was likely stolen. I expected a brand like Aritzia, which prides itself on luxury and prestige, to have solid customer service and to stand by its customers. I was wrong. After multiple back-and-forth emails with the so-called Concierge, I was told there was "nothing they could do." No refund. No replacement. And then they went ahead and closed my account. Yes, it's just $43--but it's the principle. This is a company that makes a fortune selling $100+ polyester tops, yet they can't support a loyal customer when something goes wrong due to shipping or theft--something completely out of my control. Their response was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely out of step with the brand image they sell. I'd strongly caution anyone thinking of ordering online from Aritzia. It's been a very long time since I've walked into a brick and mortar store and had a sales associate come up to me, help me, and give me suggestions I didn't even know I wanted. I was coming in for a very specific event and didn't have a lot of time to find an outfit, I thought I knew what I was looking for, but with the help of a very friendly sales associate, I was able to expand upon that idea and try on different variations. Meh. Aritzia is horribly overpriced for a bunch of polyester clothes and they have the worst return policy for sale items. All sale items are returned via a gift card. This isn't Hermes. I love Aritzia, but this location is the worst. For starters, I received micro aggressions. One of the workers allowed someone to form her own line, after I had already been waiting 15 minutes, and allowed her to be helped at the register first. After waiting in line for 10 to 15 minutes behind a couple. The couple was helped and I was next. However, a woman decided she was going to form her own line. One of the workers then told me that I had to wait behind this woman, despite the fact that I had already been waiting long before this lady made a separate line. Additionally, once at the register, I requested to combine 2 gift cards. The worker behind the counter was clueless on how to perform a transaction and purchase a gift card with two gift cards. It literally took five workers to combine two gift cards into one. I really don't understand how anyone can work in retail and not understand such a basic task. Worst shopping experience ever! Do yourself a favor and go to any of the other locations in the bay area. I have tried them all and the other locations are all amazing with excellent customer service. read more

I love Aritzia clothing, I only wish this was in my life sooner because it speaks to my very soul the type of fashion I wanted for quite some time. I feel like its very hard for us late 20s/early 30s ladies who are working professionals that want trendy casual clothing. But the Forever 21s of the world is too childish now. And we're not quite old enough yet for Anthropologie. Aritizia fills that need! This aritzia is also huge, like 2 stories so its hard to come in and out with just one clothing. I have spent way too much money at Aritzia over the years and specifically at this location. Over the years, there has been only 1 associate I've enjoyed interacting with. Most of them are rude and for some reason think way too highly of themselves. Girl, you're the manager at Aritzia--chill. Due to this, I typically order online instead of dealing with the associates here. Last week, I was walking by and against my better judgment went in. I found a cute skirt and since I was in a hurry, I purchased it without trying it. When I got home and tried it on, I realized I needed a larger size so I ordered one online that night and planned to return the one I bought in store. Today, when I walked into the empty store, I asked to do a return. The manager who helped me (and who has been rude to me in the past), asked if I had removed the tags. I had already told her I had only tried it on and decided to buy a larger size. It was even in the original tissue, so why was she insinuating that I had worn it and was now trying to return it? Honestly, this was the last straw for me. It felt gross and discriminatory, and I'm just going to stick to shopping online. Celine is the best!! I came in a few weeks ago looking for an outfit for a work meeting, and she helped me find exactly what I needed. Shopping is normally an activity I dread but she was so supportive and encouraging! I ordered jeans here for the first time based on recommendations from an influencer. They didn't fit well (as jeans often don't) and I needed to return but couldn't find the return information. I emailed customer service and was told to wait 5 days for a customer service response. They sent the return link and I mailed the items within a few days only to learn I was given an e-gift card rather than a refund because you get 14 days from the SHIPPING date to return the items, and the extended holiday return policy does not apply to any items on sale for Black Friday (which was why I ordered the jeans). I emailed customer service to explain this and was again denied a proper refund. This is completely ridiculous and I will never shop here again. read more

If you've been to any Aritzia in store, you know the style advisors are under pressure to hit their quotas so they will only focus on you if they think you will buy something. It's an awful customer experience, being hounded to get a fitting room as soon as you take something off the rack to get a closer look. I've also been treated differently depending on how I dress, if you want to shop in peace, just dress super frumpy. Buying online is an option too, but the return policy is terrible so it's still a good idea to try things on in store. This particular store is always out of popular items like the Effortless pant. It's also split in two levels. They seem to reorganize the layout pretty frequently which makes it hard to find things. read more

I was paying for my order when I realized a pair of pants I was going to buy did not have proper tags on them. Usually Aritizia products should have 2-3 tags, and this one came with none. There was, instead, a crumbled piece of paper with hand written note on it indicating the size and product name. I asked the cashier (the lady with blond wavy hair) if I can get another pair with the original tags attached, and she rolled her eyes and asked "is there any reason why you would need a tag on them?" Is there any reason why i would not want a tag on a NEW pair of pants I'm paying $200 for? read more

PROS: The sales staff have been very kind and helpful every time I've approached them. It's nice to have a reliable trendy luxury retailer downtown that isn't CRAZY expensive (ahem....Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus...). They have a great selection of quality versions of on-trend items. I've purchased several TNA-brand athleisure items and was very impressed by how warm, comfy and durable they remain over time. CONS: Reading all the negative reviews about certain customers being ignored by staff- now I wonder whether the excellent customer service I receive is not the norm but rather due to my "look". I also wouldn't recommend purchasing their premium knitwear as it's very soft but pills badly for a $100+ sweater. AND THE BIGGEST CON is Aritzia's limited return policy of only offering store credit for returns after 10 days. Aritzia is one of the only luxury retailers with SUCH an inflexible return policy. This absurd policy has discouraged me from buying pricier items. And I'm not the only one because I constantly hear people complaining about how dumb only giving people 10-days to return $200 jeans is! read more

A few weeks ago, Dahlia assisted me during my first visit to this SF store. I greatly appreciated her genuine and thoughtful demeanor. Mature, knowledgeable, and considerate. She anticipated my needs and thoughtfully did some strategic up-selling (pulling additional colors or similar pieces to what I had personally picked out that were on point). I've worked in retail many moons ago, and I know minimum wage coupled with an SF downtown location doesn't always lead to a pleasant workday. Hats off to Dahlia and the local managers who help set the store's tone where customers feel as though the employees actually enjoy working for Aritzia! First time going to the store, i felt uncomfortable because I wasn't greeted upstairs and two sales associates were talking to each other among. Went downstairs and only one lady acknowledged me, she was nice. I was looking around for a hoodie, again two different sales associates a guy and a girl were talking to each other. As I was approaching the register, I see the same sale associate who was talking to the guy earlier just looking and staring me. Which made me didn't want to purchase anymore and leave. The same lady who helped me rang me up and was kind. My issue is that the sales associates need to improve better in their customer service. Such an uncomfortable shopping experience. - Employees are constantly asking you if you need help and don't leave you alone to shop. -This place is not welcoming for boyfriends. Their game machine is broken and if your boyfriend wants to sit; the employees (specifically a girl with curly hair) tells them to get up because they can't sit. - you do get judged based off what you're wearing. I saw the girls look at my outfit, but just stared. They had a straight face. - no one was at the fitting room when I went in, I literally had to grab my clothes that they were holding for me on the rack and go in myself. Honestly they are a scam! I bought few dresses 2 days ago in the store. Spent around $1000 and no one told me it was the final sale! I've decided to return 2 of them and cancel the online order as I came home and found other colors of these dresses which I liked. They told me I bought everything on the final sale! I've always referenced Aritzia online for clothing and style. I'm a pinner of their website via Pinterest. But when I went into the store.. totally different experience and it was kind of a buzzkill? -I walked in and was greeted by the security guard then a sales girl. After walking around and not seeing what I wanted, I decided to ask a sales girl if they had what I needed. Turns out, they only carried a very limited amount of what I wanted. -I decided to just go with it and try it on in the fitting rooms. Not only are the fitting rooms small-it literally just fits one person and a bag. The mirror is actually outside of the fitting rooms. So when you go out to check your appearance, everyone can see you. -I had a question for the sales girl, but she had to step away because another sales girl alerted her, "Wasn't that your sale?" causing her to walk away to the register. The sales girl helping me told me that she'd find me when there was an open fitting room, and I decided to walk around the store aimlessly to kill time. By the time I was bored and did a full lap around the store and found her, she was surprised and said that there was a fitting room already open. It turns out that she was just waiting for me this whole time to add more items to try on. Cute clothes, but limited selection. You're better off buying from their online website. read more

Visited to buy a coat for a work trip. I knew what I wanted, so went straight for it. I grabbed my size and tried it on. An employee approached me saying she had other coats that were more "relaxed" that I should try on. I was a little thrown off because I didn't ask her opinion or for her help and had already picked out my coat. I assumed maybe she was trying to be helpful so I tried on her selected coats, all of which i hated. It was so weird but I got the feeling that she was trying to get me to buy any other coat than the one I selected. I also overheard another guest loudly asking for the same coat I had selected in the size I had selected, it sounded like I had the last item in that size. I don't wear makeup or dress up outside of work or events, so I think the employees were judging me based off that and maybe thought I wouldn't make a purchase. The girl (Emira? Or something like that) that was helping me was giving me other coats in different colors, saying she liked the other colors on me better than the one I selected. My boyfriend (who was with me) had my back and made me feel confident enough to buy the coat that I had originally selected in the color I liked. I truly hated all of the coats this employee kept insisting I try on and saying they looked better on me. I bought the coat I wanted, and I hope the employee got zero credit because all she did was irritate me and turn me into a fully online customer. The cashier was also acting extremely depressed and had very low energy. She said she was feeling under the weather which made me feel uncomfortable about her handling my items. She Why is Aritzia having sick people come to work these days?? The employees at Aritzia do not match the brand to me at all. They are usually scantily dressed teenagers or college aged kids who have attitudes and alienate customers that do not fit the stereotype of a girly girl. This store deserves a 5 for their clothes, and about a 2 for their customer service. Their clothes are gorgeous. Even the most basic item looks so beautiful and put together when you wear it. Some days (very rare, few days), the gals here are nice and helpful. They say hi, check on you, and make recommendations. Most days though, they can be quite rude. If you want to return something, forget it. I once called an hour after I made a purchase to just ask about their return policy. Their response? "All sale items are final hunny. If you can't afford it, don't buy it *hangs up*". All I asked was, "what is your return policy on sale items"? That should give you some insight to the attitude of the workers there. read more

Audrey is an amazing personal shopper that suggested a lot of great pieces for my wardrobe (other than the Cohen pants I'm addicted to). I would highly recommend her and the store is clean, has good pieces and generally friendly sales staff. Minus a star for customer service - they charge shipping because they don't have the pants I wanted in stock for an exchange. The taller Asian girl refused and charged me the petty $8 when I can just walk to Nordstrom next door and shop there instead. And she wanted to charge me tax on shipping when it was an exchange for a shipment that was delivered in the same city (literally less than 2 miles away). She was unpleasant, unlike the shoppers on the phone and the rest of the Aritzia crew. Also no refunds on sale items, only credit when the discount was only 10% on Babaton during Black Friday. Lame as the $8 shipping basically offsets half the discount when they are the ones without the pants in stock. It's not really worth it to buy in bulk here. read more

I've heard about Aritzia but I'd never shopped there before. It's been at Westfield for years but this new store over 2 levels has been open for just over a year. The setting is lovely, everything is nicely laid out with some set dressing around to make it feel more welcoming. The assistant who helped me out kept coming by to set the things I was picking out aside for me to keep my hands free, which I appreciated. They stock a few brands here with complementary styles so it's easy to mix and match. I usually go for basics and price-wise items were mostly around $30 for tops, $60ish for pants, and anything from $50-160 for dresses of various styles. The fitting room bays are large with a nice sitting area. There are only mirrors in the main area and not in each individual fitting room, which I didn't mind since it was quiet and the lighting is probably better that way, but if it were busy I feel like I'd have reservations about that. The assistant who helped me out was super friendly and I found some things I like. I'll definitely be shopping here again in the future. read more

As soon as I walked downstairs to check out clothing I was greeted by a very friendly and gracious employee whose name is slipping my mind, she was very pretty with tan skin, long dark brown hair with blonde highlights and of Asian descent. She asked me what occasion I was shopping for (I was about to meet my partner's parents) and she helped me find some very chic outfits. She even guessed my pant size right which was impressive. I walked out with an abundance of clothing options and a smile on my face. She made me feel really good about myself and was easy to talk to as well as accommodating and caring. However this review with a one star is for the product QUALITY. I bought this mini skirt and was going to wear it for the FIRST time yesterday when it ripped on me. I obviously tried it at the store and I loved it, when I put it on last night I had to bend to pick up something and it just ripped!
