So this is supposed to be a High-End Thai restaurant, but it was neither high-end in food/flavor nor service... We ordered the edamame, LG's Crispy Duckling Specialty, and Beef Egg noodles that was disgustingly drenched in too much sauce. The crispy duck wasn't even crispy bc of the sauce. Service was so slow., I ordered pad Thai to-go for my husband at the same time we ordered our dinner.... but we had to wait another 15 minutes after we finished our dinner and paid before we got the to-go food. The only reason I gave two stars was because I've gotten the green curry here that was good.

I've had their curry and drunken noodles, and both are always packed with flavor and consistently well‑made. They're quick with their orders, which makes it perfect for a lunch break -- It's convenient walking there from work! The staff is always kind, the restaurant is clean and welcoming, and on long days when I don't have time to cook, I'll pick up and/or dine in after work. One of my favorite reliable spots in the area. Highly recommend!

I have to say that I was really impressed with the ambience of this restaurant. Having been the first time here did not know what to expect but walking in the decor made you feel comfortable at ease and as if you're in a fancy establishment. The wait team was excellent; we were seated immediately next to Bamboo trees to give us a little privacy, which I thought was nice. Our server whose name I wished I had gotten was excellent. She was so friendly, bubbly, and very knowledgeable of the menu. The drunken noodle was very good! However, I will say that their level of heat too really was more of a 3+! I am so glad that my aunt and I both said no jalapeños because I don't know how difficult that would've been been. It was very good with flavor. The spice took me to my limit and the chicken was great. My uncle had a pad Thai, which she said was good but after sampling, my aunt's drunken noodle wished he had gotten that instead. Overall, this was very much worth the price for what we got in the service we received. Next time in the area, I will definitely be back.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It was a Friday lunch and business was brisk. We were seated immediately and staff was welcoming and friendly. Libby was our server and she was did a fantastic job. The food was very good. It was a huge portion of Lemon Grass Chicken. Chicken was cooked perfectly. The Fresh spring rolls seemed pretty meager. I would have liked more filling. The staff seemed to know a lot of their customers and that speaks volumes to their service.

Delicious food! Had both The Amazing and Red Curry with chicken as the protein. Nice clean atmosphere and spacious seating. Great presentation. Spice level 1-5. I had level 3 and it was pretty mild. Highly recommend for tasty Thai.

    Crispy Blue Crab Rangoons

One of my cousin's favorite Thai places and she wanted to come here for dinner while visiting! The place is very clean, nice modern feel, and staff was so friendly and welcoming! Our server had great customer service and always checked up on us! We shared all the following: Crispy Blue Crab Rangoon's: 6/10: really good but it was pretty much all cheese and no crab meat. A little disappointed but nonetheless, it was fried to a nice golden color and crispy. The flavor was delicious and the cream cheese was infused with curry flavor. It came with a sweet and spicy sauce. Drunken noodles: 6/10- we asked for level 3 spice and could not taste any spice at all. I asked for some chili oil to spice it up. Their Drunken noodles entree consisted of rice noodles, garlic, eggs, bell peppers, jalapeno, fresh mushrooms, cashews, scallions, sriracha, and Thai sweet basil. My cousin said it's good but not enough basil flavor. And I agree, there's no punch of flavor in this dish and it's missing the basil flavor for sure. Crispy duckling specialty: 7/10 - while it is crispy, after it sits in the brown sauce for a while, it gets soggy. It's still really good in my opinion and has a lovely flavor. It wasn't as crispy as most ducks I've tried but I enjoyed the savory brown sauce. The duck came with sautéed assorted vegetables in the same sauce and steamed rice. For $32, I wouldn't pay for this again. It's not super amazing for me to buy again at that portion and price. Panang Curry with beef: 6.5/10 - We asked for level 3 spicy level and got no spice all. The curry came with peas, corn, carrots, potatoes, bell peppers, and onions, Thai sweet basil, steamed rice, and crushed peanuts. The curry was just okay but the consistency of it was good. However, there were only two small potatoes in the bowl. Charging $19.50 for this entree is pretty steep. I don't think it's worth getting it again. Our server was quick and made sure we had everything we needed! I really also like how open the restaurant is! I love spacious restaurants and here it was a good size. The portion sizes were meh for the prices. I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here but if I'm in the area, then definitely!

Visited again to try their crispy duck. Large portion and very tasty. Also shared the appetizer combo and sticky rice with mango with a friend. Service was also very attentive and friendly.

my wife and I had our grandkids for a few days and live out of town, but they live nearby, so once…read morewe dropped them off, we were exhausted and were looking for somewhere nice/buffet style to eat. We decided upon this place based on reviews, including from all our oldest grandchild, who said that he had been taken here and everyone enjoyed it. we knew it had previously been a Japanese/Asian grill for many years, but now it is a Korean style barbecue and hot pot.m, so we stopped in. first be aware that this is not a cheap meal, it was $37 per adult. that said, you get access to a variety of proteins and options. I will also say that my experience was quite a bit different than that of my wife. to start, you get one type of flavored broth for your hot pot in which to cook proteins or vegetables. The table also comes with a built-in grill if you choose to Cook that way. My wife selected the mushroom broth base and I chose the pork broth base. I must say, my wife added her own spices/sauces and enjoyed her broth so much that she shared with me and it greatly enhanced my experience. We enjoyed it so much so that we took the remainder home - there was a by weight up charge for taking this or anything else home. initially I felt that was a little expensive ($5) for taking home What amounted to 2 cups of broth, but we made Ramen out of the next day and it was the best Ramen I've had in a long time, so kudos to my wife for having seasoned it so well. my pork broth was not very flavorful, but I was being lazy and did not add any sauces to it, so I was disappointed, but frankly that is probably on me. In the middle of the restaurant is a very clean and well stocked protein buffet that has all types of seafood, pork, chicken, and beef offerings. I selected many of these, and went directly to the grill instead of cooking some of them in the hot pot. i ended up over cooking several of them before adding them into my hot pot, and they weren't good, but once again my disappointment is in part due to my impatience or inattentiveness. my wife enjoyed her selections very much because she didn't overcook her proteins. my favorite thing was the beef Bulgogi and Korean short ribs, which I grilled (or my wife did) and these were delicious, marinated in an excellent sauce and I frankly could've and should've probably just eaten several plates of this. they had a sushi/dessert bar with typical fare; my wife did not partake in any of this. I tried several of the sushi rolls and they were OK -- frankly this is probably not what you would gravitate to if you're going to a hot pot/Korean barbecue restaurant. their desert offerings were fine: I enjoyed the tiramisu and the Asian style donuts, which were very doughy, but I love them. My wife thought they were just meh. they were alcoholic options, but we were already going to be at $90 with tip and take home broth so we just had waters. I apologize for forgetting the servers name, but his service was excellent, due to attentiveness, explanation of the options, and making sure our drinks were consistently refilled. The ambience was nice, modern, clean. so my take away is that this would be closer to a 3.5 star review versus a four, as this was expensive and everything that I tried other than the grilled Bulgogi and what my wife shared that she had added to her broth) was just OK. However, my wife enjoyed the meal so much, that alone is worth it. Also, I should attribute some of the "disappointment" to my own laziness or overcooking of the proteins on the grill. I would go back for another special occasion, but at the price point, it would not be a weekly choice.

They're at 10586 Old St Augustine Road in Mandarin with a nice size parking lot so their location is great and parking isn't a concern. I'll get to the food in a minute but I'll start by saying that before we opened our fortune cookies at the end, I jokingly said "I hope one of these says 'you will get your original Facebook account back". They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.

The broth it was served in, had not a hint of pork. I asked the server about the flavor and she said she would have to ask the cook, but they never got back to me and they didn't offer to take it off my bill. I do not consider this good service. The Steamed Pork Buns were served and again there was no pork flavor. I broke it half and handed it to my girlfriend and she tasted it, no flavor. We even tried to eat the pork in the bun separately and it had no taste of pork. I wondered if it was actually pork. The last item was Sizzling Steak with peppers and onions. The steak was tough and very chewy and again there was no flavor. I could taste the onion and peppers, but the steak had no flavor. I don't think I have ever had such a bad experience in an Asian restaurant. The pictures I shared are different than the menu, the pork buns I shared are the actual. The menu shows 4 buns. The white rice was a very small serving, my girlfriend said they didn't provide enough rice. If you have eaten here and enjoyed your meal, post a review. I personally would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I give one star only because the Kung Pao Chicken was very good. Everything else was not worth what I was charged.
