We ordered the edamame, LG's Crispy Duckling Specialty, and Beef Egg noodles that was disgustingly drenched in too much sauce. The crispy duck wasn't even crispy bc of the sauce. Service was so slow., I ordered pad Thai to-go for my husband at the same time we ordered our dinner.... but we had to wait another 15 minutes after we finished our dinner and paid before we got the to-go food. This was our first time at this restaurant. It was a Friday lunch and business was brisk. We were seated immediately and staff was welcoming and friendly. Libby was our server and she was did a fantastic job. The food was very good. It was a huge portion of Lemon Grass Chicken. Chicken was cooked perfectly. The Fresh spring rolls seemed pretty meager. I have to say that I was really impressed with the ambience of this restaurant. Having been the first time here did not know what to expect but walking in the decor made you feel comfortable at ease and as if you're in a fancy establishment. The wait team was excellent; we were seated immediately next to Bamboo trees to give us a little privacy, which I thought was nice. Our server whose name I wished I had gotten was excellent. She was so friendly, bubbly, and very knowledgeable of the menu. The drunken noodle was very good! However, I will say that their level of heat too really was more of a 3+! I am so glad that my aunt and I both said no jalapeños because I don't know how difficult that would've been been. It was very good with flavor. The spice took me to my limit and the chicken was great. My uncle had a pad Thai, which she said was good but after sampling, my aunt's drunken noodle wished he had gotten that instead. One of my cousin's favorite Thai places and she wanted to come here for dinner while visiting! The place is very clean, nice modern feel, and staff was so friendly and welcoming! Our server had great customer service and always checked up on us! We shared all the following: Crispy Blue Crab Rangoon's: 6/10: really good but it was pretty much all cheese and no crab meat. A little disappointed but nonetheless, it was fried to a nice golden color and crispy. The flavor was delicious and the cream cheese was infused with curry flavor. It came with a sweet and spicy sauce. Drunken noodles: 6/10- we asked for level 3 spice and could not taste any spice at all. I asked for some chili oil to spice it up. Their Drunken noodles entree consisted of rice noodles, garlic, eggs, bell peppers, jalapeno, fresh mushrooms, cashews, scallions, sriracha, and Thai sweet basil. My cousin said it's good but not enough basil flavor. And I agree, there's no punch of flavor in this dish and it's missing the basil flavor for sure. Crispy duckling specialty: 7/10 - while it is crispy, after it sits in the brown sauce for a while, it gets soggy. It's still really good in my opinion and has a lovely flavor. It wasn't as crispy as most ducks I've tried but I enjoyed the savory brown sauce. The duck came with sautéed assorted vegetables in the same sauce and steamed rice. For $32, I wouldn't pay for this again. It's not super amazing for me to buy again at that portion and price. Panang Curry with beef: 6.5/10 - We asked for level 3 spicy level and got no spice all. The curry came with peas, corn, carrots, potatoes, bell peppers, and onions, Thai sweet basil, steamed rice, and crushed peanuts. The curry was just okay but the consistency of it was good. However, there were only two small potatoes in the bowl. Charging $19.50 for this entree is pretty steep. I don't think it's worth getting it again. Our server was quick and made sure we had everything we needed! I really also like how open the restaurant is! I love spacious restaurants and here it was a good size. We came here for our early Valentine lunch date. Got here right when they open and it was pretty empty for a good hour. The servers are great and attentive. We got our order on time. I had the typical spicy chicken with added veggie pad Thai. The chicken is very dry, overcooked and hard to swallow. The veggies are great, plentiful and flavorful, the tamarind sauce is good but could use a little more salt. Overall, I like my husband's Drunken noodles dish more because it has more flavor and the chicken is more edible than my dish. Compare to my previous experience, I would say I left a bit disappointed. Although the service is great, I would like my food to taste as good as what I'm paying for. First time eating here (my BIL gets takeout from time to time). We waited about 30 minutes for a table for 5 on a Friday night. Not bad with no reservation. We tried the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer. A little on the small side but fresh and tasty. We had the following dishes, grouper special, Shrimp Panang Curry, Thai fried rice with tofu, Basil fried rice with tofu and pad thai with tofu. The kids loved their pad thai and Thai fried rice. The grouper special was not as special as we would have preferred. My BIL enjoyed his usual, the Shrimp Panang Curry. My Basil fried rice was wonderfully spicy but not too much. I may have finished it all in record time, for me. Prices were not unexpected. Gratuity was included but we added some extra as our server was fantastic. We'll be back for sure! read more

I on the other hand have never heard of it, and am always done for some thai food so heck yea, why not, let's go. We came around noon and were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and delightful. She informed us that there was a big party so she would get our orders in and have it come out before the big party, which we were very grateful for. For appetizer, we ordered the bang shrimp and gor our entrees, I ordered the beef spicy drunken noodle and my friend ordered the shrimp pad thai. The bang shrimp was flavorful and delicious. My spicy drunken noodles was chef's kiss. So freaking good! Definitely recommend this dish. My friend's pad thai on the other hand, was on the sweeter side. Too sweet actually. I drove by this restaurant dozens of time since moving to the area but had never tried it until today for lunch. I am so glad I finally gave it a try. It is in a strip shopping center on Old St. Augustine Road, but the interior is very nice. It was almost full at lunchtime on a Monday. They have plenty of tables for seating, as well as bar seating. I ordinarily order Pad Thai at a Thai restaurant but decided to try something different today. I opted for the spicy drunken noodles. The entree consists of wok tossed rice noodles, garlic, eggs, green peppers, jalapeño, mushrooms, cashews, scallions, Sriracha, and a Thai sweet basil sauce. You can choose beef, chicken or shrimp for a protein. You can also select the level of spice you want between 1 through 5. I selected level one and it was delicious. The entree was also the perfect size for lunch. Service was very fast as well as professional from my server, Roth. I will definitely return. read more

I've heard so many great things about Lemongrass & it's close to home so I decided instead of going to my usual Thai I'd try it. Lemongrass is located in a strip mall but once you walk inside it leaves the strip mall look behind. It has a beautiful nice sized bar that rivals any around. The hostess & servers were sweet & attentive on this slow midweek night. As we looked over the menu the 1st thing my friends and I noticed was that Lemongrass does not have Massaman curry available except for a short rib dish. We both enjoy it & we're a little disappointed that it wasn't available with any other protein. I judge all Thai restaurants by their Tom Kai Gi . I like a nice coconut soup with a touch of lime & made with galanga & lemongrass. Unfortunately, the soup misses the mark. Sadly, I did not taste any coconut at all. The soup did have a good flavor, and was filled with onions, peppers, and sliced chicken. However, no coconut flavor. I found it not to be spicy at all on the contrary my dining companion couldn't even finish hers as she thought it was too spicy. Next we ordered the chicken & shrimp egg rolls. They were served two eggrolls cut in half with a sort of sweet sauce on the side. The eggrolls were nice and crispy on the outside and had a good flavor on the inside. For entrées, we ordered the pad Thai with chicken and a dish called The Amazing. The Amazing did not live up to its name but was very tasty with a rich peanut sauce. The Pad Thai had a sweet flavor not a peanut flavor as it is usually served but we fixed it by putting the sauce from The Amazing into it. This made it so much better. I love the food here, it's consistently good, but twice in a row we've come for lunch and had to ask for our food to be boxed because it took too long to come out before having to get back to work. We thought we were going to beat it this time by having our order ready the moment the waiter came to greet us for the first time. Unfortunately it made no difference. Recommend if you have no where to be? Sure, just make sure you can keep conversation, with whomever you're with, going for 45 minutes before food comes out. Recommend if you have an hour lunch break? Went for a quick take-out and found Lemongrass Thai Bistro off the Phillips Highway 1 right across the Shops from Bayard, and our greeter was very polite and helpful with our order upon arrival. We ordered the Pad Thai which looked really brown and a bit overcooked, and was a bit too sweet. The seafood it comes with including Shrimp was just right on point. Crab Rangoon was ordered as well (5 Pieces) However, they don't look like the traditional Thai preparation/taste as the crusts were too big and sloppy. It was also a bit fried up and we were not really able to taste any of the crab in there as it was all covered up in the sauce. The Tomkah Seafood Soup (Small) was very good though. It had the right medium spice and the vegtables blended in with the taste of the broth. Overall, the food was so-so and is not on the same level with the rest of the authentic Thai restaurants here in Jax. We may have to give it another try and hopefully the food will be better next time. read more
