Made a reservation here last night Monday at 6pm cause my mom wanted to eat early. We were the only people in the restaurant, we were seated and immediately asked our drink orders and she explained the menus were on the tablets. I ordered the chicken satays and spring rolls for appetizers, they were prefect for 4 people. I didn't care for the chicken satays, but my boyfriend liked them. The spring rolls were delicious. We ordered shortly after enjoying the appetizers. I was able to get half of the vegetable ginger and half of the ginger shrimp. Basically half portions of each full order together which really appreciated and enjoyed. My boyfriend got the basil fried rice with chicken, my mom the green curry with chicken which she didn't like how liquidy it was. My brother got the chicken pad Thai. Both my boyfriend and brother got medium spicy and said it was hot enough. I don't like any spicy food so I got it without spice, which was good because the more I ate my dish the ginger became more strong and flavorful. All entrees come with white rice. I was in the neighborhood between a doctor's appointment and a meeting at the library so I decided to give this place a try. The menu is extensive with so many options of appetizers, soups, salads, sushi, Thai entrees and plenty of Noodle dishes. I opted for the pad drunken Noodle dish. It was flat noodles with mixed vegetables and chicken. I really wanted to like it but it was pretty bland. I also received a cup of clear soup with it which was also very bland. Service was good. We had to be in Ponte Vedra last night and John went on the hunt for dinner and Thai is one of his favorites! I love the ambiance- it is a tiny dining room, but the bar is fabulous, the plants and orchids are glorious and we were seated in the "front" room, near the windows- which was nice. It had an authentic feel to it. I order hot ginger tea- delicious and scalding hot! I threw some ice cubes in my mug so I could even pick it up. Won Ton cup of soup- not my favorite. The noodles around the won ton were so soft and mushy which contrasted the crisp beans spouts. The broth flavor was yummy. Pad Woosen noodles with shrimp (no peppers)- the shrimp were huge, I was really excited when they set my plate down- and the smells, oh goodness! The noodles were packed with flavor- oddly enough, all the veggies and shrimp sis not have that same wow effect. It was almost as if they were cooked separately. Don't get me wrong- I enjoyed it, I ate all of it (I took home some and ate the rest later)- but I wish the flavor was throughout the dish. John got Pad Thai- shocker, and he LOVED it- like almost licked the plate clean! He was bragging that he might like it more than our go to for Thai. So... I'll have to try something else next time we visit. The lady next to us highly recommended the dessert- the banana chip thing. I will have to try that as well. We have frequented this Ponte Vedra Beach Thai restaurant on numerous occasions. Each time everything we have ordered has been excellent. It's a smaller venue setting but has good ambiance. Service has always been exceptional. Establishment is in an outdoor shopping area so has plenty of parking. read more

This place feels fancy inside unlike your usual Thai food restaurant, which feels like it hasn't been cleaned or renovated since 1987... this place looks like it belongs in a ritzy area in New York City or SF... beyond that the food is honestly really quite good and I've had excellent Thai food in major cities across the country, and fresh homemade authentic Thai food. The portions are reasonable, and the prices are not too bad either.. I'm gonna give them a solid four, it's not a Michelin star restaurant, but the vibe and food is real good. read more

I have to say that I heard some phenomenal things about this place and it was OK. I'm not 100% sure is worth the long drive the coconut soup the rich with flavor was very sparse with chicken and vegetables. The drunken noodle had very little flavor. I was somewhat disappointed in it. The waitress was wonderful, great sense of humor, very friendly. So the service was great. The ambience is phenomenal very quaint restaurant and I love the red chairs. But overall the place that is near me I find to be more authentic and enjoy much more. Should I be back in the area? I would go back, but I would not make a special trip. read more

Ordered take out for 15 people. Out huge order was ready for pickup only 5 minutes after we arrived to pick it up. We ordered multiple noodle dishes and curries. Everything was great! Service great. Food not. There are plenty of better Thai restaurants in the area. One dish had overcooked beef. Too chewy , when we said excuse us but the meat was tough he said "yes". lol. Tuptim Thai, I love you but you are really bumming me out. Small restaurants that have survived the pandemic to this point are worthy of respect. And now they can't find people to staff so management starts to do all the work. It's not a good vibe to see the Mrs. stressing to handle all the orders, delivering food, cleaning up, etc. I felt terrible when she came running after us saying we didn't get what we ordered or something like that and gave us an extra order of noodles. It's just a reminder of how hard it is to run and work in a restaurant. I hope other reviewers on this site remember that and be kind to your local small business people. Anyway, the food is great including fried pot stickers, Panang curry, drunken noodle, Pad Se Ew. Sticky rice with custard is a great end of the meal. I will order from this restaurant until it is no more. Although I may strictly order to go from now on. It doesn't feel right requesting wait service from this restaurant given their labor conditions. read more

This is our local Thai spot. Can't be beat for their lunch special. $9.99 curries with a spring roll. I have eaten through their menu many times. This time we had the massaman and red curries. So glad they have opened back up for limited hours! Tucked away off of A1A, you would never expect this much culture in a shopping center. When you walk in you are transported to another country through the amazing decor. They even sell clothing, jewelry, and snacks at the register. I've never had anything bad on their menu but I highly suggest the crab rangoons if you're a cheese lover! They are probably an Americanized version but oh so savory, sweet and creamy. read more

I LOVE the crab rangoons, massaman with roti, basil summer rolls, chicken dumplings, soups, pad thai, basil fried rice!!!!!! I think I would like the whole menu. 3.5 stars. I visited here a while back for lunch, and the food was definitely better when dining in. This time, we grabbed 2 quick dishes to go. "Pad Thai lacks favor" said my Pad Thai connoisseur 13 yo. I thought the noodle is too broken and still has too much starchiness taste. I liked my sea food salad (yum talay) ok. Had Tom Yuck Soup it was tasteless and had just a bunch of sliced button mushrooms on it. The curry was watery and tofu was rubbery. Ate a few bites and left the remainder of the dish there. I've had better elsewhere and eaten Thai from Hawaii to Chicago, New York and Tampa. I won't be back. read more

This is my boys (age 6 and 11) and my favorite restaurant! We come here for "mother & son" dates. This is a very special place for us. Every time we come, we are treated like VIP guests by Sahar. My boys adore her!! She pampers them with attention and delivers great care/service. Thank you so much, Sahar. We wouldn't come some much if you weren't here. The restaurant itself has the most beautiful decor and the food is supreme. It is the only place my kids will eat their veggies and proteins reliably. We love Thai food. We eat a lot of Thai food. This unassuming spot ties for our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Their curries are really savory and well balanced. Their food is not too sweet, which we find in a lot of places.. So, I know that summer rolls are Vietnamese. But Tumptim has a "Basil Roll" which is the same thing, but without Shrimp. I know, I know, but I love Summer rolls - so how about putting some Shrimp in? Go to Tumptim! Yum! read more

It's been about five years since I last went to the restaurant and still think of their food and service every time I think of FL. When I did live closer I would visit the restaurant every weekend for my favorite the Tom Yum noodle soup that I cannot find another restaurant to compete with within the states. It's easy to find tom yum soup but not a good combo of the soup with noodles. If you're up for sour and spicy I highly recommend the tom yum noodle soup! read more

You'll feel like you've been transported to Thailand. Stopped in today for lunch. Had the shrimp with green curry. Wonderful presentation and it was prepared perfectly. The shrimp were local from Mayport and we're very tender. It had just the right amount of spice and a nice array of vegetables. Great value for the lunch special only $8.95. The Tuptim Thai chain of restaurants are always a reliable bet when it comes to Thai food. They all have extremely affordable lunch specials. This particular location has not yet raised their prices by a dollar like the other locations. So Pad Thai, appetizer soup, and egg roll for 8 bucks? Yes please. Very affordable! In addition the food was very good although on the sweet side. I like for drunken noodles to be more savory. My colleagues also noted that their pad Thai's were on the sweet side too. Although it was sweet I enjoyed my taste test of the Pad Thai with it's blend of savory, sour, and salty (could have been less sweet). Their chili tray is excellent too (love that there was a lot of oil to use. Some places put a little oil in lots of chili flakes) and thankfully I could add their chili oil and some peppers to help the drunken noodles be more spicy and savory. Decor was great and ambiance transported you away from North Florida. Lots of people too for mid day lunch. One server went in between everyone which was pretty impressive, but would suggest getting another server to help and provide better service. All in all, not the best of the Tuptim Thai chain and not my go to for Thai but definitely a place you will feel like you got your money's worth and feel satisfied and full. read more

We were excited trying this place for the first time. On Saturday 12/18, we ordered 2 orders of papaya salad Thai spicy but they came out 0 spiciness. The portion were also very small, it's probably ONLY 2 bites to finish it. Seemed like they only made 1 order but put in into 2 orders and put lots of lettuce under papaya.
