The food here is really good! I would say it's the best Thai in town. Though I will say Ros ni yom is right there with this place flavor wise. The portions are smaller at Ros ni yom. I don't remember the exact names of our dishes but we had rice, noodles and a beef. All were packed with flavor! Serving sizes were good for the price. Service was quick and friendly. They have indoor or outdoors seating. Highly recommend!

Ordered the chicken pad thai. Not much chicken. More egg and tofu than chicken. Flavor was spot on, but, not worth $14.95. The spring rolls were good and worth it for $17.95. My husband got the Cashew Nut Chicken for $17.95 and had more chicken than me. I dont see us coming here anytime soon with these prices and quality.

Pad Se Eww was delicious! Flavorful umami and good balance between noodles, veggies, and protein. Large portion so had a small leftover for later that night. Servers are attentive and we were seated fast even for a large group. Lots of space inside and lively Saturday night atmosphere.

    Sticky rice $4 for this

So insanely overpriced. A palm size serving of sticky rice $4 and a tiny cup of extra peanut sauce $4 is crazy. All the portions are small but this is such a rip off

This is my go to Thai place in Livermore. The ambiance is relaxing & laid back. It gives a homey vibe. The service is always amazing here. They're attentive & fast. The food is very tasty we ordered Tom Yum. Chicken Satay and curry and roti. It's so good!!!! Everything is always fresh, full of flavors and not too spicy. If you are in this area you got to try this place out. It will not disappoint

    Old steamed rice

I ordered the lunch green curry with white rice from Lemongrass in Livermore, and this was hands down one of the worst meals I've ever had. The curry was unbelievably salty--so salty it was almost inedible. But the absolute worst part was the rice. The "white rice" they gave me was clearly old, dry, and chewy, like it had been sitting out for days. I literally couldn't even eat it. When I called the restaurant to let them know, instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, they blamed the chef for using yesterday's rice--as if that made it any better. The lack of professionalism was shocking. If your staff admits they're serving old food, that's a huge problem. I will NEVER eat here again. Completely unacceptable and incredibly disappointing.

Came here with my boyfriend on NYE just to find some place that was still open for the night in downtown Livermore and the sole waitress was very accommodating, allowing us to dine in 15 minutes before they were about to close. What we got: shrimp pad thai (2/5) -- way too sweet, I couldn't taste any of the other flavors that typically go on in pad thai green curry (3/5) -- subtle heat, decent flavor, but some of the vegetables were overcooked and there wasn't much meat..also why so expensive just for a side of rice? I was expecting rice to come with the dish itself because you can't eat curry without rice Before tip, the total was ~$52, which to me, is not very worth it for an average tasting meal. Service was good, but I would try out other places when I'm in the area next time.

We dined outside as the inside felt too stuffy. Green curry was really good, just the right amount of heat. I enjoyed the salad gai-dressing was very tasty and the romaine lettuce have a nice crunch. Hardly any avocado or apple in it though. Pineapple fried rice was so rich in flavor so we had to order white rice to go with the green curry.

Lemongrass is definitely our favorite Thai restaurant in Livermore, or any place outside Danville. Given the number of options, that's saying something. I like the quiet atmosphere that lets you look out the big front window to First Street. I had to ask them to turn down the bass-heavy music, however. The Wife ordered her standard pad see ew, with Thai tea, and was very pleased. She noted that there was plenty of egg in the dish, which she likes. I ordered an emerald curry that used the green curry sauce, from the specials menu. It contained prawns, scallops, chunks of salmon, with pumpkin and tomato. It was excellent, paired with a Concannon Pinot Grigio (nice pour!). This will be the place we go to the most in town.

I brought my bestie, she'd never tried Thai food. Definitely didn't disappoint! Flavors were on point! Really great service! Felt very taken care of. And fun to sit out on the patio. Such a nice vibe! Can't wait to come back!!

I expect downtime Livermore during lunch time will be busy. Only two tables were occupied inside. The host and server was nice. I like the long dining table with wooden booth that they offered to my party. I ordered the Roti Paratha and Fried calamari as the appetizers. I love the veggies combination with the light green curry sauce, but the battered for the calamari was not good. The Thai tea without ice was wayyyyyyy too sweet for me. The Star Anise fried rice with duck was good. Glad that I ordered this since I seldom find fried rice with duck meat at other Thai restaurants. The seafood claypot was tasty. I wish the portion can be a little bigger though. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I will come back to try other dishes on their menu when I am in the neighborhood next time.

Ones of the things I look for when I dine at restaurants is the stickiness of the tables and this place has nonsticky tables which made me feel good about the hygiene practices here. The food was so good that we ordered a pad Thai to share as a third entree between the two of us! The duck was very soft and the bok choi was super good as well. The pumpkin curry was amazing too! The pumpkin cubes really have a great flavor to it and the flavors blend really well together. The veggies in the pad thai were super fresh and the dish didn't taste great at all. Will definitely be back to try other dishes as well (and the same!!) and bring friends.

Every now and then, my wife and I still make the pilgrimage to Sai's to see our friends and enjoy a meal. This night we ordered: Asparagus Prawns - 5 - When the ingredients are fresh and you know what you're doing, the resulting dishes will be delicious. My wife is particular about her asparagus, too skinny is not acceptable. It has to be medium to fat, and of course, not woody. I'm more particular about my prawns. I can't stand overcooked seafood! Bitter Melon Chicken - 5 - Bitter Melon can be soaked in water to remove some of the bitterness before cooking. Then you want to cook it so it's no longer crunchy but not so much that it's mushy. Sai's always does a great job with it when it's in season. Oyster Pancakes - 4 - A slight downgrade because of the size of the oysters. Maybe I'm simply greedy but I want more! On the other hand, the egg was well seasoned, tasty and not overcooked. Sesame Balls - 5 - These were fried a little darker than usual but that just makes the sesame flavor pop! A great way to finish off a meal here at Sai's.
