We ordered 4 dishes from this Thai restaurant and they all were well prepared and had good flavor. The shrimp Pad Thai was very good flavor. Not bland like it tends to be when you order at other restaurants. My guy ordered the " special rice" but I didn't eat much as I'm not a big fan of yellow curry. The chicken pieces were very dry. This dish was not our favorite. I had an eggplant, tofu, and veggie dish that was very good. I'd order this again for sure. My guy loves duck and he gave the dish . The meat was very dry. His comment: Chinese make the best duck. The beef Pad Si Eew ( I better check the spelling lol) was ok. The beef- dry. Big surprise. However they are cooking the meat or maybe the quality of the meat needs rethinking. I think they would have a higher rating. We usually order takeout and they have some rotating DoorDash deals which makes it very affordable. They're also fast in preparing the food. It's good for a quick takeout meal, not my favorite for Thai but a regular in our takeout rotation. read more

We were driving back home from Mountain House and were also hungry and wanted something quick and good. This place popped up in a search. We took a chance and were glad. The place is quiet and calm inside a small strip mall tucked away inside a residential area. We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and tofu and chicken drunken noodles. The order was made quickly and spiced as required. We totally enjoyed the food. Will visit their main location when possible. The food was okay, I appreciated that the papaya salad could be spiced up to your liking. The Pad Thai was okay as well but nothing that made me want to go out of my way to go again. Umbrella decor was cute - thai iced tea 5/5 - yummy and less than $4 amazing - Penang curry chicken 5/5 - loved the curry flavors and surprised to see eggplant in Penang. It doesn't come with any sides so u have to order and pay for that separately - steamed white rice side 5/5 - standard order - pad se ew chicken 4/5- smaller portion than what i expected for the price. Lovely experience! Came in around 5pm on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty, so we got our foot within 10 minutes of sitting down. It was quiet inside and outside the restaurant. The service was great (Icedro was our server and was so kind). My mom ordered the pad see-ew with prawns and I ordered another but with tofu. The dishes were delicious, but the only thing I'd love to make this review to be a 5/5 on the food, would be to have the protein seasoned a bit. The protein was bland but everything else was great. I had gotten take-out from this Livermore location a couple months ago for a friend since she mentioned they like their food so wanted to give them a try ourselves. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and was surprised to be the only diners inside. There were a few take-out orders while we were there but it was pretty quiet. We have been to their sister restaurant in Pleasanton but our server said that their menus are slightly different so we took a closer look. For our appetizer, we ordered the 6-piece finger rolls (like skinny egg rolls). Inside is a mixture of chicken and shrimp. They are a cute size and they came with a sweet chili dip. They were served crispy and hot. For our meals we ordered the khao soi and pad thai with fried chicken. I'm always afraid that the khao soi will be too spicy for me but this one was perfect. The chicken reminded me of a breast they would use to make teriyaki chicken (not what I am used to). It was sliced and added to my soup noodles. It was okay but next time I will order it with tofu, if possible. My husband's pad thai was flavored very nicely and the fried chicken breast came with a side of peanut sauce. The fried chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce was a good addition. Conveniently located right off of 580. If you get stuck in traffic, take a rest at this Livermore location! Plenty of parking shared with other businesses. read more

This place is bad, stay away, unless you want to learn for yourself. I will begin with the plus matters to give it two stars versus the zero star or 1 star: 1) its in livermore (if you live in livermore) 2) we did not get sick Now here are the cons 1) one waiter, one cook, nobody in the restaurant on a Thursday night...that should have been a strong hint 2) food is a la carte and to each a curry really costs $20-$25 with taxes and tip. You pay $15 for the curry then $3 for a meat to put in the curry then another $2.50 for rice then tax and tip. So when it is stated as good food/afforadable - i wonder if these are fake reviews. 3) the apetizers are jokeville - overpriced. 4) plates are plastic, cups are plastic, water is put in a plastic pitcher from tap 5) noisy even with no customers - see #8 6) service and food quality was subpar - they did not have brown rice, did not have fresh ingredients, did put a lot of salt, a lot of vinegar on food. 7) the 'ambience' is an lol - next to a liquor store, across from a water reclamation plant that smells, people come in to ask to use the restroom from HWY 84, they have to post signs to keep out people...'rough area.' The outdoor dining is a plastic picnic table. Advice: GO DOWNTOWN OR TO A NICE SHOPPING AREA 8) The owner with her daughter babysitting the granddaughter in a back make shift room, so loud and obnoxious. (See photo) 9 )They had no lettuce wraps but said they could make them. They brought old lettuce and just food processed old chicken and charged $16 - more than some entrees. So you can tell this is not a situation of "i just like to complain" but goodness, it was terrible. Just go to a downtown location for Thai or anywhere else, seriously. Never had it worse. Lots of polite people at best giving 4 stars here or 5. This is nothing like downtown places or out of Livermore places for Thai. read more

Yellow curry is also highly recommended and delicious. Only things that took it from 5/5 to 4/5 was that the beef was a bit dry and overcooked and the florescent lighting was really harsh so it was not the best ambiance (but maybe was just tonight bc we were there late and changed the lighting bc I saw lamps).
