We were driving back home from Mountain House and were also hungry and wanted something quick and good. This place popped up in a search. We took a chance and were glad. The place is quiet and calm inside a small strip mall tucked away inside a residential area. We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and tofu and chicken drunken noodles. The order was made quickly and spiced as required. We totally enjoyed the food. Will visit their main location when possible. The food was okay, I appreciated that the papaya salad could be spiced up to your liking. The Pad Thai was okay as well but nothing that made me want to go out of my way to go again. I will go if I'm in the neighbor though. The location was easy to get to and the place was clean. This place is bad, stay away, unless you want to learn for yourself. I will begin with the plus matters to give it two stars versus the zero star or 1 star: 1) its in livermore (if you live in livermore) 2) we did not get sick Now here are the cons 1) one waiter, one cook, nobody in the restaurant on a Thursday night...that should have been a strong hint 2) food is a la carte and to each a curry really costs $20-$25 with taxes and tip. You pay $15 for the curry then $3 for a meat to put in the curry then another $2.50 for rice then tax and tip. So when it is stated as good food/afforadable - i wonder if these are fake reviews. 3) the apetizers are jokeville - overpriced. 4) plates are plastic, cups are plastic, water is put in a plastic pitcher from tap 5) noisy even with no customers - see #8 6) service and food quality was subpar - they did not have brown rice, did not have fresh ingredients, did put a lot of salt, a lot of vinegar on food. 7) the 'ambience' is an lol - next to a liquor store, across from a water reclamation plant that smells, people come in to ask to use the restroom from HWY 84, they have to post signs to keep out people...'rough area.' The outdoor dining is a plastic picnic table. Advice: GO DOWNTOWN OR TO A NICE SHOPPING AREA 8) The owner with her daughter babysitting the granddaughter in a back make shift room, so loud and obnoxious. (See photo) 9 )They had no lettuce wraps but said they could make them. They brought old lettuce and just food processed old chicken and charged $16 - more than some entrees. So you can tell this is not a situation of "i just like to complain" but goodness, it was terrible. Just go to a downtown location for Thai or anywhere else, seriously. Never had it worse. Lots of polite people at best giving 4 stars here or 5. This is nothing like downtown places or out of Livermore places for Thai. read more

Lovely experience! Came in around 5pm on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty, so we got our foot within 10 minutes of sitting down. It was quiet inside and outside the restaurant. The service was great (Icedro was our server and was so kind). My mom ordered the pad see-ew with prawns and I ordered another but with tofu. The dishes were delicious, but the only thing I'd love to make this review to be a 5/5 on the food, would be to have the protein seasoned a bit. The protein was bland but everything else was great. We saw it on our way to Brentwood and i immediately added it to my list so that we can try it on our way back. They dont close between lunch and dinner so it was perfect for our 5 pm linner. Lots of parking in the square and couple of reserved spots for this restaurant too which was perfect and made it super convenient. In $57 (before tip), we got: - veggie crispy rolls 5/5 - i wish the portion size was bigger for the price but they were so good. The accompanying sauce was good too - young coconut 4/5- expensive for being a boxed coconut water poured out. Umbrella decor was cute - thai iced tea 5/5 - yummy and less than $4 amazing - Penang curry chicken 5/5 - loved the curry flavors and surprised to see eggplant in Penang. It doesn't come with any sides so u have to order and pay for that separately - steamed white rice side 5/5 - standard order - pad se ew chicken 4/5- smaller portion than what i expected for the price. I had gotten take-out from this Livermore location a couple months ago for a friend since she mentioned they like their food so wanted to give them a try ourselves. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and was surprised to be the only diners inside. There were a few take-out orders while we were there but it was pretty quiet. We have been to their sister restaurant in Pleasanton but our server said that their menus are slightly different so we took a closer look. For our appetizer, we ordered the 6-piece finger rolls (like skinny egg rolls). Inside is a mixture of chicken and shrimp. They are a cute size and they came with a sweet chili dip. They were served crispy and hot. For our meals we ordered the khao soi and pad thai with fried chicken. I'm always afraid that the khao soi will be too spicy for me but this one was perfect. The chicken reminded me of a breast they would use to make teriyaki chicken (not what I am used to). It was sliced and added to my soup noodles. It was okay but next time I will order it with tofu, if possible. My husband's pad thai was flavored very nicely and the fried chicken breast came with a side of peanut sauce. The fried chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce was a good addition. Conveniently located right off of 580. If you get stuck in traffic, take a rest at this Livermore location! Service was amazing! Food was really good! We also ordered coconut shrimp, roti, and veggie crunchy rolls that were all great appetizers. I ordered tom kha and was one of the best Ive had! Yellow curry is also highly recommended and delicious. Only things that took it from 5/5 to 4/5 was that the beef was a bit dry and overcooked and the florescent lighting was really harsh so it was not the best ambiance (but maybe was just tonight bc we were there late and changed the lighting bc I saw lamps). What truly elevated the visit, however, was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Their hospitality alone is reason enough to return. My dining partner and I arrived around 5:30 p.m., and we were the only customers at the time, which made for a very peaceful and personal dining experience. The server was a highlight of the evening--they were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. ​We started with some roti and followed with a few of the main dishes. The kitchen definitely prioritizes freshness; everything tasted like it was prepared to order. The panang curry was a solid, enjoyable dish. It had a good flavor profile and was well-balanced. We also tried the kee mow and the crispy fish. The fish was the most interesting part of the meal. The fish itself was beautifully delicate and perfectly cooked inside, but the coating was a bit too thick and overly crisp, which overpowered the subtle flavor of the fish. also the peppers in the curry and noodles were too chunky and way too much. my request would be to cut them thinner, less is more. ​To finish, we ordered the classic sticky mango dessert, and it was a great choice--I really enjoyed it. ​Overall, the food was good. While it wasn't a "wow" meal that will stick with me for weeks, it was by no means bad. The service was excellent and the food was fresh. Almost 4 stars. The food was pretty good. We had pot stickers (so/so) the pad Thai, basil chicken and Thai fried rice. There was a lovely smoky flavor to the rice, the pad Thai was cooked well and the noodles slid off each other when mixed. I would have liked a slice of lime and bean sprouts and cabbage to mix in for some textural elements. The basil chicken had good flavor (maybe just on the salty side) and the portions were more than enough for our party of three. The service was quick, friendly and they noticed things like when our water was low. We ended with mango sticky rice and it was presented so well. The coconut sauce was a bit in the thinner side than I am used to but flavored were great and loved the contrast between the warm rice and cool mango. Great spot for for a quick lunch or dinner. The bathroom was so/so but the dining area seemed nicely decorated and there were enough space between tables. I also liked the wide bowl/plates that were used. I had the Pad Thai for lunch it was up there for my best Pad Thai ever! The noodles and really nice and springy if you know what I mean they have the right chewy consistency. One Spot that I've been meaning to go for a long time, is this Grill right here. Everytime I see the City Of Livermore Water Resources Tanks, with the Under The Sea themed and Aquarium murals on it, I know I'm in Livermore. I spent a lot of nights here for the last two years. This is right next to Livermore Municipal Airport. Tonight, I'm in the East Bay. This is what I need in my life right now, some Basil Chicken Gra-paw Kai dao. And look at the Egg served right on top, it's excellent. I had a lot of versions of this Dish already, and this must be the best one so far. It was perfectly Stir-Fried. It arrived scorching hot, straight from the Wok. The Sauce is smack, very flavorful, savory, and the Basil is aromatic. And this must be, the most perfectly Fried Egg I ever had as well. It looks even better than the Pictures. This was Executed, very well. And everything worked harmoniously, together. I was thinking this was going to be a 4.0-4.3 stars, I was thinking I was going to give it a 4.3 stars or 4.3/4.4 stars, but I give this 4.4 stars out of 5 stars. I'm satisfied. read more
