Great attraction for kids. There are plenty of things for them to do (inflatable slides, wooden rocking horses, goat feeding, train ride, hay ride, face paint, electric cars). To enter the farm, the cost for each child (14 months and up) is $30. Each adult is $15. There are also pony rides but they do not allow parents to enter the corrals. I do see a safety issue with this especially for younger kids. I seen one worker place a child (under 2) on a larger pony and leave him there without strapping him in, because he went to pick up more kids. The pumpkins here were also small compared to other pumpkin patches. The largest one we found on this day was 26lbs. The cost of the pumpkins range from $5 to $30. $30 for the 26lb pumpkin. read more

Do not waste your time or money here. Last year we went to Pastorino's and decided to try out Lemos this year. Huge mistake!!!! Lemo's is all around a joke from their pricing to entire set up of the "pumpkin patch". Each kid is $34 or $37 dollars (depending on Silver or Gold package) and $17 per adult. Completely overpriced especially considering the place is a joke. It is sooooo tiny inside, barely any walking space, and very very little to do. Haunted house looks like they put no effort into it. Petting zoo was a joke. Across the street the petting zoo is sooo much better with other animals than just goats. There were 0 places to any family photos. The place was an entire joke and I will never return here or refer anyone to go there. I'm so mad we even wasted the money we did to get in. read more

disappointed at this location's policy of dealing with harassment. i used to come here as a kid with my family and i remember it being fun but coming here over a decade later with my friends, traumatized us after what we had experienced. Higher staff did not show any care about our issue and asked us to write a complaint on the back of a random person's ticket. it should not be considered a complaint when we experienced verbal harassment from the alleged worker at the booth. after what happened, i will never come back here. don't waste your time coming to this place if you want to be treated as less than. read more

READ BEFORE GOING TO GOAT YOGA I came to Lemos Farm yesterday for goat yoga. It was a surprise for my friend who had goat yoga on her bucket list so I decided to take her for her birthday. I wanted to give it 4 stars because the goats really were adorable and the instructor tried her best to teach yoga amidst the distraction of goats. Anyways when we first arrived my friends and I had our hair down and one of the goats was already nibbling our hair. The instructor advised us to tie out hair so we did. We even tied it into a bun to make sure we don't have hanging hair. So here we are doing goat yoga, it's fun, goats are engaging. I get to tabletop pose and a goat hops on my back. I saw other goats on people's back and thought ok they're just chillin so I continued to do my poses with this goat on me. Then i felt it licking my hair and nibbling on it. It wasn't pulling on it but i just thought it was doing little licks and stuff and it didn't hurt. So the goat jumps off me and my friend was like omgggg do not touch your hair it's so gross and slobbery, well the goat had made a mess of my bun so i thought I'd just retie it. As I undid my messy bun and tried to unstick this chunk of saliva section the goat left me with, chunks of my hair starting out. Like no joke, my friends were literally like omgggg wtffff!!!! And it wouldn't stop. The more i unraveled the more was falling off . It was all over the floor and I didn't want to leave more hair there so i started gathering it (see photo). I got home and washed my hair and more hair was falling out. I dried my hair and realized the goat had chewed and broke off my hair from the middle of my head. I really wanted to give them 4 stars but serioisly I'm so mad and traumatized. Actually at the end of this review I decided to give it 2 stars because it's really f***ed up and they should have given a warning that they will chew through your hair and to wear a cap or push the goat off if it tries to chew you hair. Luckily my hair is thick so it's not super noticeable but I do know it's there and I know it'll take forever to grow out to blend back in naturally. read more

My son is 1 years old and got bitten by the goats that you can pet after my son had gotten bitten they never closed down that section and still allowed little kids to pet the goats although a previous mother walked up to me and told me her child had just gotten bitten as well. The staff wasn't helpful at all just saying run through water . They're emergency kit barely had stuff to cater to my child. Rude owners. My husband, a retired officer, parked near a car with hazard lights on, using his backup camera to avoid hitting anyone and maneuvering around them. After he parked, the woman, apparently the owner, approached his window, yelling and stating he almost hit the people in the car. He remained polite, explaining he used all his mirrors and backup camera to ensure he didn't hit them, but she continued to be disrespectful, so I yelled back, she then proceeded to take pictures of our truck, treating us like criminals. Could not have been more satisfied. This is my second visit and the grandkids are 3 and 5. Last one they were 2 and nearly new born, this time was was a magical experience, due to their now ages. Lemos Farm is staffed with friendly, top mark staff who smile, greet you, make your visit a pleasurable experience. They took the time to answer my questions and smiled while doing so, and I felt welcomed. Lemos Farm management has delivered a great experience for us. The kids road the ponies which looked well cared for and tended and the riding was so fun for them. We all rode the hay ride, which took a winding path around the property, again so fun. We then took the train ride, which went through a secret tunnel and on to a very cute western town with all the trimmings, again so fun. We dashed off to feed the well cared for goats and then gave them a brush. Washing station right there for your clean up. Sifting for gems or gold is a fun experience for the kiddos too, of course anything with water. There are slides, car rides, haunted house and just a feeling of a well run establishment that cares about your experience, their staff and the animals. Such a fun experience for the 3 of us. Lemos Farm was super cute!! My children loved feeding the goats and the pony rides. I recommend this place for children 2 to 10 anyone older might not find it fun! I did wish they served alcohol but the little snacks and sandwich place was pretty good. The hay ride is a truck with hay in it and there's a little train that goes around the whole place. read more

This place is magical! I went for goat yoga but I was too enraptured of the goats to do much yoga. I even held one for about 5-10 minutes while doing yoga poses. The staff was really nice too and offered to take our pictures and asked if we wanted to hold the goats and how to hold them. You must try this at least once, even if you don't do yoga. They also had an area nearby where kids could go on rides and also feed and pet the goats and it's a good place for a kid's birthday party or day out. Highly recommended! I felt so happy and relaxed after doing yoga, thanks to the goats! Parking is also easy since it has its own parking lot. read more

My 2.5 year old nephew loved it here, especially the open corral pony ride ($8 if purchased as individual ride). It's a small "farm" with some chickens, goats in a petting area where you can buy pellets to feed them for $1, and ponies. Next time we go, we'll buy the $15 kid pass, which includes the train ride (technically golf carts but still cute) and pony ride. Getting here can be a hassle on weekends because highway 35 gets congested. It does kind of smell cause of the animals, and the grounds can be dusty, so wear shoes you can clean off. I like that they don't charge admission, and the cost of the rides was reasonable. read more

I have been going to this pumpkin patch for years, and overall it's a very nice place. It seems to get more and more crowded each year, so I don't know if they are not capping off the tickets like they used to. I am leaving 3 stars on this review as the food quality in the food shack in the back is extremely poor. The pizza is microwaved and the hot dogs didn't seem fully cooked. The prices are also extremely high for what is essentially microwaved pizza slices and .25 cent hot dogs. Overall it's a bit of a mixed bag as the rides and activities for the kids are fun, but the high priced marginal quality food really puts a dent in the whole experience. Pretty ordinary farm style park suitable for kids under 5 or 6, older kids will find this place silly. There are barely 5-6 rides for $25 and the hay ride is a joke. Not worth more than one visit in your kids childhood. There are better places in the Bay Area worth the time and money. read more

Came here today and paid $15 per adult and $30 for a gold wristband for my daughter. Came early and there was already a huge crowd at opening! My daughter did enjoy the rides and attractions, but it was so crowded and the lines were long. The train and hay rides were quite short, as the farm isn't that big. The pumpkin patch area is hard to navigate through with the crowd. The goats are fun to feed though. Overall, underwhelming for its price. read more

THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME COMING!! My family and I visited the farm on the 28TH it was a great experience for my son and us. But we would like to make a shout out to an employee that made our visit even better . His name is Jose , we didn't catch the last name. we had a mishap with our food order and he provided excellent customer service to get it fixed . We really appreciated it cause my husband can be very finicky and he was very happy. He seem like he enjoyed helping us even tho we were being like KARENS! I think that guy deserves some type of praise or even a raise cause of the annoying customers he has to deal with. With a smile . He was fun to talk to and a joy overall being it was a very hectic day and took the time to take care of us and we felt like he listened and understood. Came here for their pumpkin patch 2 years in a row and to be honest, it's a little overpriced for what it is. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because the kiddos always had so much fun. The farm itself looks really nice and there's a lot of good spots for photos. Make sure you come early during the season so there are more pumpkins around. The pumpkins are reasonably priced. Kids loved the pony ride and the train ride. The worst ride of all was definitely the hay ride. There was nothing to see along the way and the line was pretty long. It was a big disappointment. Most of the rides are included in your ticket (depending on which type you got). They charge extra for things like goat feeding, face painting, balloons, etc. In terms of the foods, the pumpkin ice cream and pumpkin pie were really good. They're a little pricey, but it was worth it. The pumpkin latte was sold out by 11AM. Sad lol read more

Went here for the first time with my little one! It's a great place for small kids, my little one is 2.5. Would recommend coming back. Only tip is to bring your own snacks and food, not a huge selection besides standard burgers, popcorn, salad, from what I saw. As for the entertainment, I think kids can be entertained for maybe up to 1.5-2 hours before getting hungry / nap time at lunch. read more

This place has like exactly 3 different activities which in my opinion is nothing after paying $70+ to be here. Most importantly the majority of the staff had the most awful, disgusting, hostile and rude attitude. They need more/diff activities instead of the 3 different pony riding areas. Never coming back here not worth the money at all completely over priced. Food over priced. The lady taking tickets at the front didn't say hi welcome nothing. The older guy working the goat petting/feeding area was so rude not helpful staring at me the whole time making my family super uncomfortable. The guy working the big jumper wouldn't look/talk to the kids getting on and looked like a little mad boy forced to be there they all looked like they were forced to be there with the attitude they all had. Today my family visited this farm and I wanted to let anyone who cares that we did not feel safe at this venue despite the covid-19 restrictions so carefully described on their site. It was incredibly disappointing to make the drive to half moon bay only to spend less time at the farm than in the car ride out there. The following are reasons that we noted in the 15 minutes spent there: 1) No 6ft spacing markers for any of the lines (any of the attractions, ticket purchasing, etc) 2) 6ft social distancing measures were not enforced or even encouraged by ANY employee 3) Employees holding up the "please social distance safely" signs were not even wearing their own masks properly (where their noses were exposed)! 4) Employee for goat petting zoo did not even bother to monitor how many people went into such a confined area exacerbated by the volume of goats in there - did not feel it was large enough to have more than 2 families in the pen at a time but people came in and out as they pleased with no consideration of space and keeping any sort of distance 5) What is the point of limiting tickets when they are going to oversell beyond a safe capacity?!Every attraction had long lines winding around the park with no 6ft markers. 6) we did appreciate all the hand sanitizing stations available throughout the farm though! The bottom line is we did not feel that Covid-19 precautions were being taken seriously in accordance to current CDC guidelines. We went in knowing that there was a high probability we wouldn't spend much time there (if crowded) and chalked up the money spent on prepaid admission as doing our part of "supporting local", but definitely didn't think we wouldn't feel safe due to the lack of oversight on the farms end! If you are at all anxious about social gatherings - do not go here! I dont ever write reviews but felt our experience needed to be put out there for public health safety. read more

We went here on Friday Sept 18th hoping it would be okay for COVID given we were going on a weekday, they were limiting guests and had COVID precautions. Sadly, most people there don't seem to follow them. No one is maintaining 6 ft of space in line, about 25% of people only fake wear masks (below the nose) or don't wear them at all. The staff is not really enforcing anything and some of the staff have masks dropping below their nose as well. The one good thing is they make people sanitize their hands. I felt so uncomfortable I left shortly after arriving because we didn't feel safe there. Wast of $35 dollars. read more

2 year old paradise. My wife and I brought our 2 year old son and I can safely say this was probably the most fun he has ever had in his life. From the baby goat feeding to the train ride to the pony ride, there wasn't a single ride he didn't enjoy and he was smiling the whole time. He even enjoyed the haunted house although it was a bit too scary for him and in my opinion a bit age inappropriate. Overall while I read a few negative reviews about rude staff or long lines I didn't experience any of that despite going on a holiday during peak hours. I think the farm might be a bit boring for older children and the admission fee might not be worth it, but for a 2 year old it was fantastic. read more

We LOVE Lemos Farm! We have been twice- back in January 2019 we brought our little girls on a lovely morning and they had a wonderful time. Our older daughter had such an amazing time riding the ponies (she loves horses and ponies), and we thought the place was so darling, that we decided to have her 3rd birthday party there! We just had her party yesterday and it was a smashing success! We did the pony party where we had our own ponies and jumpy house, and we also added the unlimited train rides. It was perfect and easy! The party areas are set up to easily host and keep an eye on everything. We were in the Joe party area and it was awesome. The owner, Bob, was super kind and helpful and our cowboy, Javier, was awesome as well! Our daughter rode the ponies for over an hour! All the kids enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep as well, and lots of our guests took multiple train rides. All the parents said it was such an awesome party and they kids had a blast! I think this place/party is best for 3-5 (maybe 6?) year olds. Any younger and they are afraid of the ponies. Any older and they may get bored. Some tips: do the early party if you can. Traffic gets rough on 92 in the afternoon. No problem in the morning. Bring plenty of plastic or paper tablecloths. Plenty of tables but the non-picnic tables need to be covered (we covered all). Designate a time for everyone to come together for cake/any other activities you want everyone there for- people will spread out and explore. Bring dollars or quarters for your guests to feed the animals on the petting zoo or do the digger! read more

This review is for their Pumpkin Patch event in October. Wow... imagine your average pumpkin patch and then put it on steroids. Ok, so you've all heard about this place and how it's THE place to go in the run up to Halloween, and I've got to say, I was skeptical. How can one place outshine SO many others in the Bay Area (and gosh, there are so many...). Well, here are my thoughts. I went with my husband and our one year old (kids under 14 months get in free, adults are $10 each), and we managed to easily spend two hours here. Even as a baby, our little one was able to ride the Hay Ride (6/10), the train (10/10), the hay maze (10/10), the haunted house (I was too afraid - my husband took the baby), the goats, the rocking horses, the pumpkin patch and so many more things. I was disappointed that they made such a big deal on the website about how tickets were limited, but we got there as it opened and it was HEAVING, and only got busier. Even in the good old days pre Covid that would have been a pain, but with the added anxiety of trying to maintain social distance, it was a let down that they put their profits over safety. Lemos Farm is a year-round family-run children's play farm located in the rural section of Half Moon Bay along scenic San Mateo Rd (aka Hwy92). This place is very popular and can get super-busy at anytime but especially during weekends and holidays; I'd suggest going during the week or get there early and gird your loins for kidsanity! As I stated earlier Lemos Farm is open all year, but we've only visited during the Halloween/Pumpkin season, so this review will cover that season only. Haunted House- This is a unique feature for Pumpkin Patches; the previous three patches we visited this year did not have a Haunted House. They have two versions of the haunted house: the not-so-scary version and the scary version. Since my son is only three we opted for former. He was a little hesitant at first but I kept it positive and goofed on the decorations and pretty soon he was laughing at all the monsters and goblins. There's nothing too terribly scary in the kiddie version. If your kid can watch Shrek he'll have no issues. 4* Hay Ride- This was my least favorite part of the Farm. They basically stuff you in the back of a diesel truck on some hay bales and take you around a pretty unimpressive track. It's nowhere near as cool as Spina Farms Hay Ride. The truck is also very bouncy and my back was a little sore after the ride. I would not recommend this for anyone with a bad back. I would give it 2* but my son loved it (he loves anything that has to do with trucks). So I'll meet him in the middle: 3* Train Ride- You won't find any rails here as this isn't a traditional train ride that you'll find at most patches. It's a motorized train that pulls the cars along a dirt track through some well-decorated tunnels and around some comical dioramas. This was my favorite part of Lemos and my son had a blast looking at all the fun stuff along the way. 5* Pony Ride- Pretty basic Pony ride. You get in line; they put the kid on a pony; and they walk around in a circle for a few minutes. It's pretty boring but the kids seem to like it. So what do I know? 3* Playtown- This area consists of 2 bouncy houses (one shaped like Thomas!); a plastic Tot Lot for the really young 'uns; some old timey rocking horses; and (my favorite) some shaded seating for the parents to rest their weary feet. If there's one thing I've learned as a parent it's kids love bouncy houses and these are no different. My son had a blast and I had to literally tear him away from it when it was time to go. I also really like that they have an employee there policing the bouncy houses. That really gives the parents a chance to relax and not have to helicopter. 5* Petting Zoo- Not the most impressive petting zoo. It's just a bunch of lazy, overfed goats. Not that I don't like goats, mind you, in fact I love goats. I think they're funny, but I want a little more variety in my petting zoo. How about some bunnies, chickens or ducks? 3* Pumpkins- Huge selection of pumpkins that are priced by size located throughout the Farm. They don't have half as many varieties as Spina Farms but they're still quality. 4* Restrooms- It seems a little odd to wax poetic about bathrooms but these are the nicest facilities I've encountered at a park/farm/outdoor venue; they have (Eric W approved) ceramic toilets, hot water and a fantastic diaper changing station even in the men's room. Very progressive. 5* If you add the sum total of the parts this is probably not a 5-star venue, but there are a few things that give it that bump up: friendly staff; they do a fantastic job decorating the place and giving you a Halloweeny feel; and I really appreciate their flat-fee pricing option for the rides (I don't dig the ticket system). Also I just really like the feel of this place and that alone is reason enough to bump it up. read more

A good place for young kids like up to age 5 but I wouldn't take anyone older than that. The hay ride just goes through the parking lot so isn't very interesting. Our 2 year old liked the pony rides, goats, and the bounce room. Nothing to do for adults here - only watch the kids. Pretty crowded on the weekend. Skip the food - it is terrible! I live in HMB and took a 3 year old and his mom today - they are Ukrainian refugees so I wanted to do a fun outing. For $60 for the 3 of us I was quite underwhelmed. Everything is run down and there really is not much to do. A short train ride, pony ride (would not let his mom walk around with him), electric cars (parents can assist), feed a few goats (pay extra for the food) and a haunted house (pretty cool even with the lights on). I just think for what it costs they could at least clean the wooden figures along the train ride to remove all the spider webs. I know attractions are needed for kids and thankfully it was midday on a Friday so it was not crowded. I just think it needs a bit of an upgrade. They need to add more attractions if they are going to charge this much there's literally nothing to do after you pay to get in. In his words " are you done with that we don't want it getting ruined "" ok we'll then why is it out and by the looks of it I'm sure it was already ruined. We love Lemos Farm! Frank Lemos is always so welcoming and friendly when we come for pumpkins and Christmas trees! For Christmas, you can walk around the farm and cut down your own tree, and then the kind folks of Lemos Farms help you strap it to your car (they have string and everything you need). Very covid safe, perfect place to safely bring your family for the holidays this year to get a tree!! Not to mention they have amazing prices!!! Pumpkin patch ride pass prices for 2018 is $20 for kids and $10 for adults. It was cash only when I went today, but there were ATM's available. Quite pricey if you have more than 1 child and yourself to pay for, but you have the option to pay for individual rides. I liked the activities for toddlers and preschoolers, but the expensive price tag won't entice me to come back. The one thing that bothered me most about this pumpkin patch is that there were huge tarps covering a lot of the bales of hay, like at least half the place was covered in tarp. I think they did it to protect it from the rain or wind, but I wish they took it off during open hours since it ruined so many photo ops and ruined what would've been really nice pumpkin patch photos. read more
