Three big issues: (1) Lemus seemed great over the phone. However, after finishing the cleaning service, he repeatedly told me how dirty the car was, that it was way dirtier than he expected. I know the car was dirty. That's the whole reason my wife reached out to get her car cleaned. She didn't have time to clean it because we were in the middle of moving, and she's working as a nurse during this pandemic. We don't need to be berated on how dirty the car was. (2) My wife and Lemus had agreed on a price, but when the services were over, he tried to charge more than the agreed upon price. I've used Lemus Auto Detailing for a few years now. They've been able to detail my SUV at work. I rarely wash my SUV, and I take it skiing and often go hiking and backpacking to distant trailheads on dirt roads. I bring in a lot of dirt with my boots and gear. They are very thorough and take care to get the build-up of dirt off of my car. They even removed some "desert pinstripes" off of my doors, a side-effect of desert dirt roads and scratches from the thorns of cat's claw acacia. As a surprise father's day gift, my wife had Lemus Auto Detailing do a full detail of my car, which I had sorely neglected during the covid-19 lockdown. I have trusted Lemus with a few of our cars, including my husband's pickup truck that was in dire need of TLC. Richard and crew cleaned it engine to under carriage. The end result made my husband's day. Lemus was able to get out swirls that other car was services inflicted; he pointed out areas of concern (loose front bumper connector), and overall paid considerable attention to details. Aweful! they said they could remove my car seats for cleaning, just joke! they actually don't know how, even my car is very popular type. Not only they wasted around hours to figure out how to uninstall/install my car seats (usually under 10 minutes work), but eventually they messed up after done: one bolt is missing, see attached picture; also the cable line should be hooked by clip onto the underneath of the seat for stability (like before uninstallation), not like right now, it randomly lies down under seat, in which case, the cable may be easily disconnected when seat moves. Under my watching, their doing is still like this, what should I say? I will need to take my car to a car repair shop for car seat installation repair, what a hassle! read more
