There were 2 different techs. here & couldn't fix a leak from the shower stall upstairs and put plumbing goo around the knobs in the shower hoping that would work and it didn't. So the next tech. tried something else that also didn't work. My son came over and fixed the problem which was the shower pan not being tight to the floor which caused the leak! They didn't want me to give a bad review telling me they would credit me for $200 for hiring them to do work which obviously I didn't. read more

I originally chose Len the Plumber because they were open 365 days a year and my A/C gave out the day before Labor Day. They were able to come out on Labor Day, and the technician, Mike (who was fantastic), was able to diagnose the issue very quickly and unfortunately due to the age of my unit suggested that I replace it. While he was there, he also took a look at my aging heater and had to condemn it, so I was forced to replace that as well. He had a salesperson come out that day and I signed paperwork to buy over $16,000 worth of brand new heating and air conditioning units. They came out two days later and I had to miss work as it was a full day install. It worked fine for two days, then the A/C unit turned off completely. A tech came out that night and noticed that the wires were installed sloppily and loosely and had completely come undone so there was no power to the unit. He also cleaned up trash that he said was left behind in my basement during install. The A/C worked... for 5 hours. In the middle of the night I saw that the entire system was again off. A tech came out AGAIN the next day, told me that the condensation drain pipe was installed BACKWARD and he would have to replace that for me because it was causing the safety switch to shut the system down as it wasn't draining. He replaced it that day but told me that the duct work seemed shoddy and there was no transformer for the air scrubber I purchased. I spent a few days calling Len the Plumber to finally get in touch with a manager who told me they were upset with my install team and he would personally come out (and I had to miss work again) to redo a lot of the work they messed up. After that day, I was told everything would be working fine. Three weeks later, now I need to turn the heat on and it's only blowing cold air and my house is 59 degrees. I called them and they have to come out AGAIN to see what's going on. The techs have been great but the install team was absolutely awful. They have caused me to miss several days of work while I wait for them, and my BRAND NEW units aren't working properly. I will never use them again. read more

awful experience. maybe the company is ok the bit plumber we had tried to make it seem like we needed all this work for 20k then offered to do it on the side for less to "save me so much money" and when I got a second opinion it ended up costing me 1/8th of the price. read more

RIPOFF! My 88 year old mother in law had two leaks. Len the plumber came out a day later than scheduled and wanted $1000 to do the the repairs. She sent him packing! A neighbor came over and fixed both leaks in 1 1/2 hours. The only positive was that she said he was very nice. At least they are nice while they are trying to steal elderly peoples money! read more

my heater stopped working and I made an appointment to have it inspected. A technician (Chris Mercado) came out quickly to do the inspection and within 10 minutes he told me my compressor was bad and needed over $5000 in repairs and labor minimum or a whole new system. it felt like a sales routine. The technician clearly did not do a good job with his inspection because I got a second opinion that same day and he fixed my problem in less than 10 minutes. I will not be using Len the Plumber again and do not recommend. read more

We were taken advantage of when we called them to repair our tankless water heater. We already had the part required for the repair. There was a clamp that had to be properly installed. After many visits to his repair truck, the plumber told us that it would take him two hours to repair. He gave us various estimates for the repair. At the end it took him about 15-20 mins to repair. He charged us around $900 for less than 30 mins of repair time (we supplied the parts and he spent a considerable amount of time in the truck) We were taken advantage of since we were desperate and did not have hot water for 2-3 days. Sad to see that they take advantage of people in such situations. read more

The good: everyone was very friendly. However, this is not helpful if you cannot do your job. The bad: I had a simple dishwasher install. Most places charge about $200 (give or take) for this. Len doesn't give quotes until the arrive to your house. I should have been weary of this, but I needed someone fast and decided to roll with it. I will cut out the details, but after HOURS of working, their plumber did not install the dishwasher and charged me a "discounted rate" of $175 and told me to hire a handyman to finish the job. What?!?! I was VERY clear that I needed a dishwasher installed. If you could not do that, then do not come to my house. I didn't need a non-working dishwasher that is hooked up to water. I needed to replace my hot water heater. Their quote was just under $4000. When I told them that was ridiculous he offered to call his manager. After the call he came down to just under $3000. I sent them away. My water heater was replaced at a cost of under $1700. Not by Len. read more

Negligent. We had them install a new furnace. They completed the installation but screwed up the a connection which left gas leaking into our house. An hour after they left I walked into the closed room with the furnace to find it reeking of gas. So it is only luck that I found it in time and shut it off before my family was killed. This is no joke. We evacuated and waited in our car. After an hour a tech came out and he eventually fixed the problem. That was the last we heard from them. No follow up to make sure everything was okay or to offer any concern for jeopardizing my family. What a terrible organization. Stay away. read more

I called them after seeing their TV commercials because my pipes would bang and rattle loudly when using certain appliances. They came out and said I needed a pressure release valve. He replaced it and charged me $866. The next day I turned on my washing machine and the pipes were still banging. I called them and the same guy came out and put straps on a couple, but if I wanted all the pipes strapped it would be another service call and more money - no way was I going to give them any more money at this point!!!! My husband and I are senior citizens on a fixed income, this had already really hurt us financially. These guys are crooks and hacks and should be avoided at all costs. read more

Zero! Terrible experience. They charge 49 because they feel they are special. easy money and dishonest practice. Simple replacement that I have got prices for but could not get on the schedule until two weeks from now with other plumbers, was treated as if I am the most special customer so they decided to ask if they could come the next day morning ( Saturday). My price quote from others was 250 for a shower handle replacement. Len the plumber shows up and pulls up the product on their iPad and does not have a price at first. I say I have bought the replacement parts and they show me a price immediately and it is 1112. I ask what if I went with their product. He says still 1112. I declined and he decides to shake me hand and charge me 49 for nothin. he said at least I could come say hello. How many of you want to pay to say hello to a stranger. Aaaaaand no receipt was provided for this so in my books it's equivalent to theft. Go defend that Len the BS plumber my foot. COMPARE LEN THE PLUMBER PRICES WITH EVERY OTHER PLUMBER. Very Expensive. Wish they told me ahead that they charge around $280 an hour when i called them. Wasted $49 by calling them. They asked for $800 what i was able to get fixed by another plumber for $200. Save your money. Hope others find this info helpful. read more

i always see len the plummer on tv, so ok i had a problem, i called on a friday and they set me up with an appoment say day! wonderful untill. they called me and said, we have to reschedule for tommrow, they had an emergency so i said ok. so, they rescheduled me for the next day wicth was sat. then in the last hour tyhey called me and said that they could not find the right tech for the job!!!! i was upset, so they said that they would take $50 off of the job if i rescheule for sunday, so i said they must really be sorry? sooooo, they called me in the last hour and said we will try to find a tech to come out, so 2 hours latter they called me back and said we dont have anyone would you like to reschedule foy monday?! so i said i think not. this company has schewed my whole weekend up. dont calle them!!!! i cryed, they just strung me along! they never even giving me a chance. i am so said! dont be sad like me go to another company. read more

Had work done gas line moved that leaked. Was told to call gas company. Then requested Manager said would call back. He did said supervisor would be out Monday morning to shut gas off. Well an employee with company for 2 weeks came out fixed gas leak. They changed diverter in bathroom. Then water leaking from facets never fixed. Then changed Kitchen Faucet that leaked didn't notice until 2 days later. Customer Service said they reversed the money 2 weeks ago. Guess what NOTHING. He said know I owe them $900.00. read more

TL;DR - Find a different plumber!! Last week I noticed that my downstairs toilet was not flushing properly. I was hosting a party this past weekend and needed a plumber to come out quickly. Len the Plumber was the third plumber I called but they were able to come out same day. They let me know there is a $50 service fee that they charge which is waived if they actually do any billable work. The technician came out, insisted there was nothing wrong with the toilet other than it was old, and that my best bet was to just get a new one (oh conveniently he happened to have a toilet on the truck if I was interested). The cost for replacement was ~$800 and I turned him down because the toilet was working fine just the day before. He told me to call back if it got worse. The toilet continued to not flush properly and was continually getting clogged, so i called Len back and they sent a second technician out, and they said there would be no charge for the 2nd visit. The 2nd technician once again said there was nothing they could do, the toilet is just old and I should just replace it. I turned them down again, and was told they still needed to charge me the service fee and they had no note that it was supposed to be waived. I bought a toilet auger and low and behold I fished out a wire brush that had been flushed down the toilet by our house cleaners (that's a problem for a different review). Now the toilet flushes perfectly again! I guess the toilet isn't too old after all. I called Len back to let them know the issues with the toilet and that their technicians did not even attempt to do any work to fix the toilet. They were willing to refund only one of the two service charges so I've learned a $50 lesson that I'm giving you for free: Find a different plumber!! read more
