i will not use this company. the plumber had access to my home while I was out. he did get the job done. however, he did not clean up behind himself. 1 he tracked dirt on my new carpets. 2 both of my newly renovated bathed had drain residue on the freshly painted white walls. 3 he left a puddle of water on my new basement floor. 4. whatever came up out the pipes was still visible in the sink bowl. i just feel you do a job to completion and that includes cleanup. when asked about the mess created, the owner said he would give me a 30 warrant. a warranty of your work should be standard. that warranty aint gonna clean the mess u made. Our water heater broke last Thursday night and I called Guaranteed Plumbing and Heating Friday AM. Troy was out within 30 minutes of my call, gave me an estimate and replaced the water heater quickly and efficiently. Meanwhile, while attempting to drain the remaining water into the utility sink that was backed up from cleaning up the night before, they discovered/suspected that the pipe to the sink was broken. So they ended up digging up the pipe and replacing it all in the same day! It turned out the old original lead pipe was broken in 2 places and so badly corroded that the inner diameter was about 1/2". They replaced the pipe and the utility sink and we are back in business!!! As our water softener system drains into the sink, a potentially bad situation was averted. Troy and Kenny (who did the pipe replacement) were great in explaining everything and were very personable and professional. I will call them again if and when I have the need. read more

Do not use this company unless you have money to burn. They will tell you you need way more things done that do not need to be done. They are the biggest con artists that I have ever had in my house. By the time they left our house our estimate was $2,400. They said it was an all day job and we would still have to have a tile person come and re tile our shower. Roto-Rooter came and fixed the problem and everything was done in an hour and cost only $450.00. No tile man needed. They also tried to convince us all our plumbing was iron pipes and we should have the come back and replace all our plumbing as we should not be drinking any water in our house. We had it confirmed and our pipes are all copper. Guaranteed Plumbing is a scam and should be avoided at all costs. I would give them zero stars but that is not an option. read more

Called yesterday around noon for a water heater leaking water. I was told no one could get out yesterday but they would be in touch first thing this morning to schedule someone to come out. "First thing" turned into 10am when I had to call for an update. I was told someone would call by Noon to confirm when a Tech became available. Noon turned into 2:30pm when I had to call back for another update where I was told I was next and would get a call within the hour to confirm when a Tech was in route to my address. I finally received a call back from these guys at 2;45 only to be told "Sorry, no one would be able to make out to my address today". I've had it up to here...with water!!!! read more

Master plumber stopped by to look at a job that I had to possibly relocate the sewer drain and piping in the basement. He totally freaked out and said he never heard if such a thing and wouldn't do the job. Mind you, Roto Rotar said they could do this job and guarantee it. Don't use this company, they price gouge and overcharge. Harold also tried to pressure me into giving him money right then and there. I felt so uncomfortable. Make sure to shop around. My girlfriends hair is always clogging the drain so I called Guaranteed. They came out and saw the bath was clogged, really badly. In no time they had the clog cleared. While they were at my house they also replaced the hose to my toilet as it was dripping/leaking about a cup every week, with no problem. I had a great experience with Guaranteed Plumbing! Here are all the things I liked: -They did a Great Job on the work! I had a leak in an old pipe behind a wall. They were able to find it quickly and show me the issue. -They were very clean, they wore those booties to keep your house clean, they put down tarps to catch any drywall etc. They also took any and all trash with them. -They were very diligent after they completed the work. They stayed to make sure after the water was back on that there were no more leaks. Keep this number handy folks. read more

Very poor! Would not recommend to no homeowner the guy in the reviews is right.....they come for big money! First off it was $125.00 to come out and troubleshoot the problem SCAM! Then they send this young kid out with this bucket of tools for him to tell you "oh you need a new heater it's not worth fixing!" So my response is how much is a new heater? $6500 dollars, he replied. Oh we have financing he states! My response is NO! just fix the problem with the heater......this guy disconnected the heater altogether thinking I'm going to call them to hook it back up! Which I'm not! My recommendation is to go somewhere else altogether because no one told him to disconnect the heater, it was fine just turned off. Customer Service was excellent! Completely unprofessional... We called Guaranteed Plumbing on two occasions in the hopes to resolving a leaking tub diverter. Ron came out for ten minutes and appeared in a hurry to leave. Despite his lack of interest, at first he appeared to be an honest guy, but misdiagnosed the problem as a need for new calking and grout around the tub. I went to work that week and tore down and replaced/sealed the grout and tub. I wasn't mad about it and In fact I appreciated the advice. When it leaked again I considered calling them again for the work. The 2nd time Ron came out; he told me it was a leak from the tub water diverter and a leaking trap. To replace the hardware he quoted me with $1k. Though it seemed like a bit of work, it seemed over priced and Ron became very pushy to have a deposit of $500 upfront. Later that night I spoke to an acquaintance of mine that was willing to proved me the work at $125 for both the labor and hardware for each job. I immediately canceled GP from coming and spoke to Ron the next morning. Instead of being a professional he resolved to blaming me for having to come out twice despite it was his misdiagnosis the first time and banned me from call them again for more work because I refused to pay a $1,000 for a job I could get done for $250. He could of at least ended it on a high note with something like "Hey sometimes we aren't the cheapest but I hope you would consider calling us again and maybe we can work out a better price the next time". But no he had to say something stupid. I don't write reviews usually but I would discourage anyone from using these guys again. read more

Complete disaster of a company. DO NOT USE THEM. They came out to fix a clogged drain. The guys that came out then broke the line and ran out of the house saying they couldn't fix the clog. They broke the drain line which caused a leak in my ceiling. The owner then came out and said his guys didn't cause this but would give me my money back and walk away or he could redo the bathroom for a real good price. The bathroom was a bit old, so I decide to use them. I was happy with the work and ready to move on. However a year later I get a call from my tenants that the ceiling is leaking. I call guaranteed plumbing to see if my work was under warranty. It was three days past a one year warranty. They send someone out to clear the drains! Of course this didn't work. I went over with a friend and tore out the still leaking and damaged ceiling. I found my leak. When guaranteed plumbing installed the new pipes they had to cut a joist. However it was clear that a saw blade had knicked my copper pipe. Causing a slow steady leak!!! This company screwed up and left my house in a mess. I had to get someone with some common sense and decency to fix it. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. read more

The plumbers are here as I'm typing this review. A gentleman named Harold came out this morning. I explained the issues I'm having-my toilet is constantly running or gurgling or making dripping noises in turns and there is some water damage on the ceiling of the second floor bathroom that is likely originating from the third floor bathroom. He says that it's likely not a plumbing issue but poor tile work which is causing water to slowly leak down from my third floor shower. He said caulking around the tub will likely fix that which I can do myself. As for the toilet, he quoted me $240 (which allegedly included a discount). I figured OK that's more than I thought it would be but fine. When the two men came to fix the toilet they were polite. When they went to fix the toilet, they told me that I should replace the parts in the tank as well to stop the constant running. I asked whether that was what I had already contracted and paid for them to do. They said no and that it'd be an additional $85 to do the work. I called the company to get an explanation and was told I would need to pay the additional money. I feel hustled and angry. I'm allowing them to fix the problem at the additional cost because I can't afford to take another morning off of work to have this taken care of. They seem to know their trade and hopefully their work resolves the issue. Be wary if you use their services. Make sure you know exactly what you're paying for them to fix before you sign any papers. read more
