Michelle did our nails (both myself and daughter) --full set for me today 7/3/26 and fill for daughter (had appointment). She mentioned many times today how busy it was and on phone a lot taking appointments while doing our nails. She was definitely in a hurry. I've seen nail jobs she did on other people that posted pictures and so I know she could do better. The attention to detail today wasn't there. I have 2 crooked nails and mid paint job, by end just glue everywhere that I was cleaning out while daughter was getting her fill. It wasn't really until we were outside in better lighting that we both noticed many bumps, bubbles and scruffy spots, and crookedness to our nails. We went back and she proceeded to fix one of my crooked nails and then asked, "that better?"--it was worse! So I said, "no, we're going somewhere else to get them fixed." I knew that if she thought it was better, we were waisting our time. I did ask if we can get a credit of sorts since now we have to pay to get them fixed elsewhere. She said they "don't do refunds." I said, "oh, well not coming back." This place fell hard since when they first opened. It was dirty too and had homemade wrist supports made of duct tape and zip lock bags. Will not come there again. I should have known we were in for a bad visit when she showed me a French nail she did just finish on her previous customer and it looked all messy. Customer beware. Try the other ones in town, that's my advice. read more

I have given this place my business for more than five years. I was very happy going there until my last visit. I don't know what happened to have changed my experience so much. I had noticed that the quality of the "spa" pedicures had gone down. They would finish a pedicure in 25 minutes, even though I had paid for the extra time and reliably tipped. During this visit, my pedicurist spoke about my request in another language to another person there, which was quite evident. When I later asked her to please work on a small rough patch on my toe she absolutely refused. I am sad that I'm going to have to find another place, but I'm never going back to this place again. read more

I've been here a couple of times, and each time I think I've found a winner, I end up with damaged nails. It's really disappointing. Even when I tell them they're filing my natural nail, they argue and insist the file won't cause any harm. When I say it feels too hot, they say it's not. I gave two stars because there are some good technicians who work here, but unfortunately, the damage I've had to both my fingers and toes makes it hard to recommend this place. Maybe it's fine if you're not trying to keep your natural nails healthy, but that's a priority for me. read more

I am visiting from out of town and decided to get a pedicure for my birthday. I didn't have an appointment and two other places were booked, but I called Lena Gel Nails and they got me right in! I chose the spa deluxe gel pedicure that included callous remover, leg massage, skin scrub, hot towels, and a paraffin wax. It was awesome, my skin feels so amazingly soft, I love the gel color and how it came out, and the price was amazing, only $58 when in my hometown I would probably be paying upwards of $75 for the same services. They had adorable children's spa chairs, I've never seen them before! One thing to keep in mind that it's cash only but they have an ATM for convenience. I really wanted to like this place based on its 4.6 star review on Google, but after my experience today... I cannot concur. Some positives, good color selection, nice spa chairs, they offer a complimentary beverage. A few helpful tips. Don't tell the customer to "come in now" and have them wait for over an hour. Nail clippers are supposed to cut nails, not fingertips. The girl that was doing my nails was obviously inexperienced and someone's daughter. Don't laugh when the customer tells you she's in pain and continue being harsh and rough with her nails. Don't gossip about other employers. Change the towel between customers, you tried to lay my hands down on a dirty towel that had someone else's nail trimmings. Listen to the customer. If I'm telling you that the polish is not being applied evenly and has bubbles, offer to correct it and don't keep polishing and adding multiple coats. At the end, I paid for a manicure and left with worse nails than I came in with. I asked the technician to remove the color. Terrible. I went to Walmart and bought polish, I did a better job. Sorry guys, but you have a lot to learn. I'm really disappointed and can't believe that nobody read more

Customer service is wonderful. Salon is clean and beautiful. $3.00 to remove nail polish before a manicure is ridiculous! No choice, right? $1.00 to buy an emery board and sponge is also ridiculous! No choice, they make you buy! Manicurist said I had beautiful, strong nails; not anymore! Instead of soaking the old gel off the nails, she soaked for a short while and used a dremil tool to remove the rest, which was most of it. She ended us grinding down the thickness of my nails!!! They're bending and breaking too; terrible! The gel color is so uneven, there are light and dark areas. People at work actually mention it, it's that noticeable. The thickness of the gel is also bad; won't go back and will not recommend. It's such a nice looking place, I wanted to love it.......sorry. I was hoping to enjoy this place based off of how beautiful it is, but damn. Went in for a mani and pedi , that is all , I got deluxe for both which includes massage. The lady used machine to file down my toe nails ?!? I was not getting any fake nails, and actually really burned. The foot massage was a whole lot of pain, and she kept telling me to relax. But I couldn't because the massage was way too rough. And then she started talking in another language but made sure in the middle of the sentence she said " attitude " in English. I like the woman who owns it but they just don't have enough technicians they insist on cash only which makes me wary about things that aren't my business. They also go by appointment only I made an appointment at 12 sat there for a about 10 minutes then went out to get the cash came back they still weren't ready for me . About 1/2 Later put me in a chair no water just sat there then someone puts the water on but no jets so I'm sitting there with cold water after an hour I left. They still were working on tie 3 gals that were there when I came in. Nice employees, but after three visits I won't be returning. First visit with Michelle was good, she did a fantastic job on my pedicure. Made an appt with her for the second visit and when I arrived she was busy with another client and asked if I could have my pedicure done by a male technician who was "very good". Don't know his name, and he was very sweet, but did a terrible job, especially on the polish. I had to go home and redo it myself. Third visit was with Michelle again for my pedicure and another gal for my manicure. Michelle kept asking me when I arrived if the man could do my toes and I said no. She ended up cutting one of my big toe nails down too low and filed it crooked, plus did a poor job on the polish, so again I had to redo it when I got home. I got a pedicure, the polish turned a gross brown color and because I can't come back in to get it repaired (when I shouldn't have to in the first place) they won't even refund the polish portion. Decided to check out this new salon, especially since it had such high reviews. The appointment was set for 7pm. They gave my mother and I such a welcoming greeting. One of the women proceeded to take my mom back to the chair and offered her a beverage of her choice. I had to ask for mine. They were in a rush and kept switching back and forth from technicians. So, one moment I would have one lady then she would go to my mom. The next I would have another woman and this kept going on the entire time. Our nails came out lumpy and thick looking. The acrylic didn't extend to the end of the nail so naturally my nails look like it's been needing a fill for months. My mom got a hand massage and I didn't. I guess it just wasn't my day haha but the nails came out so bad :( now I have to get an entire new set. Annoying! read more

I want to love this place but the negative side about it, some of my nails were crooked and they charge an extra $5 for long nails which is ridiculous!! They apply to much acrylic powder and make your nails look thick, heavy and not natural. No other salon charges so much extra for the littlest things. So I'm debating whether I should go back and give them a second chance or find another place. I have been to this place a few times. The first time I got a full set with powder the second time I went in for a fill and they used gel instead of powder again. I got my nails off today because I can't have them for a specific project that I'm doing currently and when the nail tech in 29 palms took off my acrylics it revealed a huge fungus on top of my nail. When I called the shop there was nothing that they could do about it nor would they give me a refund. I will not be going back. Kelly is absolutely the most amazing nail technician ever!!!! She understood everything I wanted to get done and she executed it with amazing precision and phenomenal results. I have difficult nails to work with and she was able to give me the most beautiful dip manicure in a short stiletto fashion. She was quick and precise with my waxing as well - eyebrows, chin and upper lip. I really thought my eyebrows couldn't be fixed, but she amazed me and made them look Fuller and beautiful. I can't rave enough about the employee who did my Eyebrows! I didn't have an appointment but as a walk-in I was in and out the door in less than 10 minutes. I think the woman who waxed my eyebrows is the owner and her husband works the front desk. In any case, she used hand sanitizer before starting, which Definitely put me at ease.
