terrible. I was a walk-in and the first the the employee said to me was "what do you want". I asked for A gel manicure and gel pedicure. He then argued with me saying I asked for a full set. During the manicure he made me bleed twice in my cuticles. I got gel french tips, was charged $40 and they literally chipped the next day. but it didn't end with the painful manicure. He then argued with me saying that he didn't have enough time to do French tips on my toes because he wanted to "go home" it was 30 minutes to closing time at this point. the pedicure was sub par at best, he made my cuticles bleed again. He didn't do the massage for the manicure OR the pedicure. this was probably the worst experience I have had at a nail salon. read more

Told me that my nail beds are too "small" for long nails.I have never heard of that effecting how long you want them?He said I need to come back in 1 WEEK. I have had acrylics many times and this is not true. He snickered and asked me if i bite my nails, nope. I cut them short for the purpose of getting acrylics. Understaffed on a Saturday - we called ahead and told 3 of us to come in at a specific time, after an hour and a half they only got to one of us. The the tool they used on me was dirty: I saw her wipe off the cuticle residue before using it and assumed it was from using it with my right foot. She began my left foot then moved to my right foot last....realizing the residue she originally wiped off WASN'T from me. Asked me to pay before painting my hands. She stopped to look at the signed receipt, noticed there wasn't a tip (I tip in cash at the end), glared at me, was noticeably upset and ended up doing a messy manicure job. read more

Avoid at all cost! I went here making sure to ask ahead of time if they did hand painted nail art and was told yes. She ( the only employee in this establishment is also the owner) has me at a pedicure first and just talks about how she's the best nail tech and does hollywood celebrities and name drops a few and just goes on n on about how much they tip her. We move on to nails and she refuses to cut them short. She then files my nail bed almost to my flesh before refilling the acrylic and then refuses to do any nail art because she's tired and "maybe next time" ( it was 10am ) and hands me a box of stickers to choose from. she ends up doing her own thing all I did was pick the color. she was extremely hard to sit through and work with. One of the nails ended up snapping off within two days and 4 others within that week. after soaking the rest off I can see the insane damage to the area of the nail bed she worked on compared to previous fill in's elsewhere. read more

I highly recommend that you do not go to this establishment. While checking out at the register in Walmart with my 98 year old neighbor ,she started feeling as if she was going to pass out and asked me to find her a chair. The closest chair was in this nail salon, I sat her down and went back to the register to check out. When I came back , maybe 3 minutes later, an employee by the name of "Sunshine " told me I needed to ask her first before I sat my 98 YEAR OLD neighbor down and demanded to know how much longer "the old lady " was going to sit there. "Sunshine" is a cold, heartless person that does not deserve your business. I would like to imagine a world where care and concern for our elderly population outweighs her concern about a chair. Forgot to mention this was only my neighbors 2nd venture out after coming home from the hospital. Now associated with Hollywood Nails in Yucca Valley. Went in here to get a full set of pink and white. These are the worse nails I have ever gotten. The "owner" came over from Hollywood Nails to Walmart because no on there did acrylic. It's been awhile since I had my nails done, but I didn't expect what I got. Clear nails put on top of my nails and pink and white nail polish. I have always had tips put on, then pink and white powder. After just a couple days they look awful. She told me they would be good 3-4 weeks. lol. Not going back there again. I think they are onky doing mani/pedis. And it was $70. Seemed high for what I got. read more

Went for the first time and had Bee. He was amazing! Very friendly and made sure I left happy. After trimming and shaping he made sure i still was pleased. I also got the basic pedicure and was really surprised. He took his time and did not make me feel like i was bothering him at all unlike alot of shops around town. She's very open to listening to what a customer wants and is enthusiastic in delivering it. For example, I went in on a Thursday to ask her about MOOD POLISH. We looked at examples on my phone. Her reply "I check Monday when I go to Orange County." And I happily replied I check back Tuesday. Well, to be honest, I went there because my gel nails needed refreshing and they were the only shop open! Actually, the hours posted on Yelp are incorrect, so when I called to find out the location, the incredibly nice young lady said they were technically already closed, but we're busy and would take me if I could get there soon!! WOW! They are located in the local Wal-Mart, so very convenient. The woman who took care of me really took her time and did her best....I appreciated that she didn't rush so late in the day. Now, the reason I held back the 5th star.....the condition of the shop...Ughhhhhhh! Nail clippings all over the place! Other shops sweep after each customer; I was trying to look somewhere, anywhere other than the floor. The paint and furniture, all beat up, some pedi chairs marked as not working. Oh, and feet entirely too close to my face as I sit there having my manicure. Bottom line....staff is wonderful, really! If they upgrade the space, I just might consider making this my primary nail shop. read more

So...I've gone to this place several times. The first time, I was unhappy, so I decided not to go back. They were rushed, not very friendly, they over charged and my nails were a mess. However, the last few times I got my nails done, they were the only place open, so I've gone to them 3 more times since then, and taken my daughter. First 2 times were acceptable. They did a passable job. This last time, though...I'm really never going back, now. When we got there around 6, the guy had his shoes off and his feet propped against the wall (disgusting), and was openly annoyed at our presence. He did my nails in a hurry, and nicked my skin so many times that my nail beds are still swollen and sore 3 days later. He then painted my nails in a very half assed manner, leaving unpainted spots on every single nail. The lady who did my daughter's nails was abrupt and also in a huge hurry, she didn't even remove all of the polish from her last set, so she has tri color nails, and they don't look good. All in all, we'll go back to Queen Nails, no matter how long I have to wait to go in. read more

I was slightly skeptical going to a nail salon in Walmart, but I didn't have much of a choice. I got a manicure and pedicure for a wedding and they did a fantastic job! It was a good mix of relaxing and quick. I love my nail color. The gel on my fingernails hasn't chipped in the week that they have been done. I liked that they have exact color matches so that I didn't need to do gel on my toenails too. Went to Da Vi Nails in Yucca Valley, CA WalMart, yesterday after 7 months without a mani/pedi. I had gel polish on my toes still, and she was able to get it off when I couldn't. The lady who did my service was great. I just got the basic service, with the callous remover added in, and was surprised at how much was done. The leg and arm massage with warm lotion was dreamy, along with the hot stones on my feet. I will definitely be going back. I hope I can get this lady again. read more

I called yesterday and made an appointment to bring my mom in for a manicure to celebrate Mother's Day. The man on the phone was professional, friendly, and scheduled us for noon today. We arrived ten minutes early to find that the place was very busy. We were told to have a seat, they were finishing up other customers. Again, we were early so waiting a few minutes was ok. Then, at noon exactly some girl who was related to others getting nail work done walked in and was ushered into a seat. They started her nails immediately. We waited 45 minutes for them to be ready for us. I recommend making sure you have a ton of time when you go here. Your time and appointments mean nothing to them. The work, when they finally got to us, was good. That is the only reason they get three stars. It was Mother's Day. We had other things planned after nail including a movie with a start time. Which is why I made appointments instead of just walking in to get nails done. read more

I had my nails done here once, within a week the nails were pulling from the nail bed. I was able to pull them clip and pull them off myself. I do love their massage chairs though, and I might go back for a pedicure on a Sunday , when Queen Nails is closed. I will not be getting my nails done again at Davi. . Also while I was at Davi Nails the girl who did my acrylic set manicure for the first and last time, told me that the stiletto nails break easier and I felt pushed not to get them.So I chose a slightly rounded tip. I think looking back that she just did not want to do the stiletto's because they are more work and concentration. I always tip 10 dollars for a good pair of stilettos , so it could have been worth it to her.Leave it to Wal Mart to open a nail shop that offers low quality for low cost. You get what you pay for in this town. But big box stores are more interested in quantity then quality. Since then, I have had stiletto nails done at Queen Nails , and they do NOT break off any quicker then ugly "box hand" nails. My husband likes the points, he says they are feminine. I clean houses and my nails will last at least 3 weeks with all the beatings they get during a job. So I recommend the pedicures, But not the acrylic set nails, unless you are an old retired woman looking for a low priced set of nails. The old ladies like this place. My grandmother and her church friends go every month and have never had an issue, but she hires someone to clean her house, and doesn't work. So if you clean your house or have a job that is hard on your hands, go somewhere else. read more
