One of the major factors for me in this credit union is the friendliness and quality of the people that work here. It's kind of like going to Cheers where everybody knows your name, and they make you feel right at home. When I'm in Orange county this is definitely my go-to Branch, as it is right down the street from where I normally stay., and their hours are perfect because I can always stop by in between meetings. Inside the branch everything is neat and clean and feels modern and fresh. Again, the real standout is the people that work here. Always friendly, always attentive, and willing to be courteous and chatty. I appreciate that as it can make it rather boring bank experience. Much more pleasurable. Added bonus, they have a coinstar machine inside, and if you are a credit Union member, you get no fees charged to exchange your coins for paper money. That in and of itself saves you easily 12 or 13%. Bottom line, I cannot recommend this place enough, if you live in Orange county, or if you had lived in Orange county. This is a great place to go to join a credit union and take advantage of all of the savings that they offer their members.

I paid for the tire package, extended warranty package for all electrical issues plus motor that was never filed a prepaid maintenance program that only got entered when I went in for a tire repair/replacement due to a flat tire. I only found out I had paid for services that wasn't delivered 4 and a half months later when I called corporate and they told me my vehicle service agreement hadn't been filed they had no clue of what I was talking about so I paid for something that I did not receive. Beach City Toyota took $4,000 and never did anything with it so basically they stole from me. They said why didn't you read the contract. When you sign for a car they basically sit you at a table they tell you what you're signing for and give you the square to sign saying this is what we agreed on right and then they give you a flash drive well when you get home you open the flash drive and what you agreed upon is totally different from what was said at the time assigning. Now supposedly the gentleman/ scammer that did my paperwork no longer works there and I'm being gaslighted by the person who took his place. All I want is what I paid for what I was told I was paying for tire package, the Platinum vehicle service agreement and and my prepaid maintenance program by (NOEL). I believe I was taking advantage of because I was a single woman there with my daughter who witnessed this full conversation and signing of contract. I hope that people will read this before doing business with Beach City Toyota get the paperwork and read the contract that they are actually wanting you to sign for before signing at the table because what they say and what they put on paper are/is two different things. I will continue to have issues with Beach City Toyota until 1 they fulfill the contract that was told but not put in writing to me or give me my money/ full refund back so I could do it elsewhere. When I contacted the branch, I was told that to receive my money back quickly I needed to pick up a check in person while I was out of state attending my son's graduation. Staff treated the refund as if they were doing me a favor, rather than correcting their own error. I asked about reimbursement for any overdraft/NSF fees, late fees, or other financial impacts caused by this mistake. The local manager had no answer beyond, "I don't know; I'll have to find out." This is especially frustrating given that OneMain calls borrowers multiple times a day if a payment is even one day past due, yet when they take two payments instead of one, the burden is shifted to the customer to fix it. Requested Resolution: 1. Immediate refund of the unauthorized duplicate payment. 2. Reimbursement of any bank fees or other charges directly caused by this error (documentation available). 3. Written assurance that corrective measures are in place to prevent recurrence. This situation has been handled in an unprofessional manner and has caused unnecessary stress and financial risk. I was denied a 3K loan because I was being transparent and told them that I had initiated a withdrawal from my 401k early in the AM prior to my appointment at 1600 because I needed more funds than their 3K loan to cover my emergent financial situation. They kept insinuating that my withdrawal was a loan and kept asking what my monthly payback would be. I explained and showed proof that it was not a loan and that I would not be making monthly payments to pay back my 401k because they did not offer loans against my 401k. Just that it would be taxed plus the penalty fee for early withdrawal. I wish that manager would have come and talked to me face to face instead of relaying questions and messages through Ellie and then to me. Especially when I can hear everything she was talking about. I get it. I'm a high risk applicant but why should I get denied because I needed more funds and had to resort to an early withdrawal attempt from my 401k to cover my expenses? Plus no hello, goodbye or thorough explanation as to why the loan could not be processed. I'm not upset because I got denied. I'm upset with their lack of knowledge in regard to early withdrawals from your 401k. Ellie was nice. If you want fast cash do not be transparent. Don't tell them anything else that is required or else you will get denied. Honesty will hurt you unfortunately.
