Maria at this location is one of the best Customer Service Agents I have ever worked with & not just Speedy Cash but any business establishment. Even when she is not assisting me but working w other customers I watch & listen to her. Just as she does w me, she greets, converses & offers every option available to accommodate her customers. She acknowledges them personally by name as well. I actually enjoy stopping in to handle my business here because of her. I walked in to get a payday loan and she asked for bank statement, paystub, personal blank check, ID. She then looked at me as if I was stupid and I kindly said "yes I have it." I supplied all the documents. She looked at my bank statement and immediately started shaking her head and talking to herself and told me my bank statement was fake. Keep in mind I printed this bank statement from my bank branch down the street on Chapman Ave and The City Drive. She then said she doesnt see the deposit on my bank statement. She has eyes but she did not want to use them because she thought a person of color cannot make more than her. She probably makes 20 dollars per hour max, so how can you judge others? There is always just 1 person working which is a nice black lady or an Asian man. But they never have enough people to accommodate their customers. Sometimes you'll be standing in line for like 30 minutes because the person in front of you doesn't know what they want. I've also gotten a payday small loan here before.
