I am currently…read morein a long dispute with Karen Ackerman and Tim Lewis Communities regarding defects with paint chipping, whole house ventilation that broke a few months after purchase, multiple cracks in walls, AC leaks, sink and plumbing leaks, lights switch plates that crack and fall off, lights that flicker, and load bearing framing that are cut so deep they are no longer load bearing and not code compliant! Plumbing behind walls leak causing so much damage that by the time you find out it is too late. Tim Lewis lies about what they install in your home in order to avoid responsibility for their terrible workmanship. I am stuck in a nightmare I hope others can avoid by not falling for the bs. On the outside the home looks nice, but once you are in the home you can see it basically fall apart bc the materials are so cheap and the work of the installers are terrible.

While I understand contractors need to prioritize their workload, the lack of interest in smaller projects was disappointing. If you have a large-scale job, they might be worth contacting, but don't bother if you're looking for partial work or a smaller project--it doesn't seem to be worth their time. We ended up finding another contractor who was happy to work with us and did an excellent job at a fair price.
