So. First.. the food was actually pretty darn good. I mean, the place doesn't look like much and could use a "refresh", but the quality of the sandwich was pretty tasty. I had the bacon cheesesteak, and they didn't skip on any of the materials... Lots of steak and a lot of bacon. I had the 7.5 inch and it was plenty (that's what she said). The staff was super kind and seemed to be enjoying life, which is always bonus in 2022. They took care of mw and the Family and treated us right. I enjoyed my Philly steak salad for two days in a row (lunch). The turkey mile high is delicious! The Italian sub is very good too but it was too wet - I'll order it dry with mayo and oil/vinegar on the side next time - but still a good sandwich. I stay at the Embassy Suites once or twice a year and occasionally walk across the street for a sandwich during my short stay. The subs really are good and the service is pretty fast. I'm also a big fan of their Lenny brand chips here. Really the only thing I've ever had here was one of the cheesesteak sandwiches. You can go wrong with whichever one you decide. Five stars simply because this is *the* place to go if you want a great sandwich in a hurry. The staff is friendly, the ingredients are fresh and your meal is served quickly. While you can get a good sandwich at other places in Little Rock, it is truly hard to beat the Lenny's Italian. What's that? A bunch of Italian meats and cheese piled high on the bread of your choice (white, wheat or multigrain). The blend of meets and cheese is a thing to behold, but what really puts Lenny's over the top is the outstanding pepper relish that compliments this sandwich (and a lot of others) perfectly. That pepper relish is, apparently, simply cherry peppers, salt, vinegar and a little sugar if rumors are to be believed. The relish is very unique and so good that you can even buy a jar of it. Of course, I have a jar of Lenny's pepper relish at home and use it regularly. The only complaints I have about this place is that prices are a bit steep if you're used to buying sandwiches from Subway in that $10 is a bit stiff for a sandwich, chips and a drink. Also, the parking lot at the shopping center where this Lenny's is located is horrible because it looks rather like they tried to jam too many parking spots in a tiny space. Still, the positives far outweigh the negatives here. Try the Italian sandwich and you'll be hooked. read more

I've been going to this location for years. To be fair, all I order is the Philly cheesesteak... It's as close to authentic as you can get in Arkansas. The staff is always super nice and you can joke around with them and they are very helpful with suggestions if you don't know what you want. You can tell when they are busy that they are trying to bust out the sandwiches as fast as they can (I've never waited for more than 10 mins and that's pretty good for a cooked meat sandwich). I've been driving by Lenny's Sub Shop a lot lately and finally decided to try it. I arrived at 7:40 pm on a Thursday night (Lenny's closes at 8 pm) I didn't really feel welcomed perhaps since it was near closing and it appeared that the workers were already in "shutdown mode"... Anyway, I ordered two sandwiches to go (a Hot Italian for me and a Deluxe Club for my brother). I was really surprised how tiny my sandwich was when I arrived at my brothers house. Also, the sandwiches looked kind of thrown together. The Deluxe Club didn't have much taste either. For the price I would like to have had something better. read more

However, the gentleman preparing my wrap, while wearing gloves reached into his pocket grabbed keys handed them to the other worker then patted him on his back THEN proceeded to start getting my order ready. No bell peppers, just drowned in these little tiny diced tomatoes and this disgusting handful of lettuce on a tough white bread I could barely chew.
