Came here for a work lunch and was pleasantly surprised! This restaurant is tucked away in an office building. Great outdoor seating and view of the lake. I tried to order the black bean burger but they were sold out when I arrived around 12:15pm. Note to come earlier for it! There weren't a lot of other vegetarian options so I went with the grilled cheese and grilled veggies. Both were good! I did not know the grilled veggies came with cheese and likely would've passed on it if I did. The servers were very kind and attentive. The only downside is that it was probably a 25 minute or so wait food so I don't think this is a place to come if you are in a hurry. There were lovely free bread rolls to have while you wait. The good: I ordered delivery and the food got to me much faster than I expected. I ordered today's special which was a sloppy joe and mac n cheese. The sloppy Joe was very flavorful and I like that the bun was toasted. The bad: The mac and cheese was bland. I also ended up with some stomach issues after eating so either the sandwich or the side did not agree with me at all. The unnecessary: When my food was delivered, there was a note written on the top of the to go box telling me that I should not have ordered the daily special so early (9:30am) and that I was lucky that it was ready this time. I was told that I could call and check to see if items are available. This place is IN THE OFFICE building, on the ground floor! But don't let that deter you, this is a mom and pop shop that is the best hidden gem. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle so it's not super busy, but run with care and attention, and with old family recipes that are top notch. Very cheap compared to all the crazy prices out there. I could not believe this place has been missing from my lunch options for so long!! This little gem is tucked away in an office building with no signage and is simply AMAZING!!!! Apparently it has been in the family for some 34 years and their food is to die for, their prices are reasonable and the family is sweet as pie. Not to mention they cut their own fries every day and bake their own cookies which I should have gotten more than just one since it was that good. They have indoor and outdoor sitting by a lake to make things even better. Just pull into the office building complex and either take the path on the lower level around to the tables to enter or go into the front doors and take elevators down to lower level and boom you walk right into heaven. Oh, wow! First time coming here since I was a teenager and it is still as wonderful and flavorful. I mean, I bit into a forkful of their spinach pasta with garlic pepper sauce and almost slapped my steering well (I'm eating in my car). They have daily specials and a nice variety menu. Homemade rolls, fresh food. I had the turkey burger- yum! Fresh ground turkey patty and lots of fixins. Scott is very friendly and the banter was very enjoyable. The ambiance was spectacular. I sat outside overlooking the pond with the fountain and drank in the morning bird sounds with my coffee in a pleasantly shaded spot. And then the food - OMG!!! I want to take Carla home with me eggs, grits (she even made cheese grits!) and sausage patties!!! Some of the best eating I've had in quite some time. Why did it take me so long to try this place?! Yes, it is a little hard to find, but Google Maps gets you there and then just enter where the large patio is. While the menu is huge and the sandwiches I saw coming out looked amazing, we had to try the HOMEMADE PASTA. You get to choose which flavor pasta you want (flavors today were spinach, lemon pepper, rosemary basil, whole wheat), then you pick your sauce (flavors today were basil pesto, tomato pesto, cilantro pesto, low-fat alfredo, parmesan parsley, pepper garlic, marinara, black bean, or Raphael). For just the pasta and sauce, it is $8. Or you can add grilled veggies OR chicken for $10. If you want both chicken and veggies, it is $12.50. or you can get salmon and veggies added for $16. No matter what, the portions are HUGE. Both of us easily had two meals out of this. The only negative thing is that everyone waited at least 25 min for food, and it wasn't crowded. So, pick this place when you have an hour to spare. It is worth it! read more

This is a great hidden gem! It is located at the bottom of an office building with no signage, so we had to drive around a little bit to find it. You can enter through the patio area or through the front doors and take the elevator down. The atmosphere is a bit strange for a restaurant because of the location, and it could use some updates (which is the only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5). However, the food was delicious and seemed freshly homemade! We were very appreciative of the gluten free option of all sandwiches, and the chicken avocado club was delicious! This place is a little tough to find, located at the back of a corporate office building. Once you do find it, everything is perfect! Nestled on a lake, there are swans roaming outside. We were greeted like family and told person suggestions in how the staff modifies he menu to customize their meals. Of course, we listened! Ordering happens at the counter, but the staff brings your food to your table. EVERYTHING was delicious and beautifully served. The chef is reminiscent of a grandmas on Christmas morning. What a really nice surprise. We had an "Earl" and a chicken Ruben. Both were very very tasty. The chicken Ruben had a nice piece of beast cooked to perfection, the Earl looked very good and my wife said it was full of veggies and meat. She normally doesn't eat sandwiches but she enjoyed the flavors and the amount of meat/ veggies. They also deliver. We don't live far do this will be a great substitute to the few grub hub choices. This place actually isn't too hard to find if you already know it's in an office building. I came in for breakfast to kill time before a doctors appt. There was no one in the restaurant, but me at 9:40 a.m. on a Thursday. I paid $8 and some change for French toast. (See picture). It was basically three pieces of soggy sandwich bread and the saltiest eggs with the most pepper I've ever had. I was really disappointed because I wanted 25 mins for my food. I asked for he eggs to be remade which they did without a problem. On the upside, the flavor of the French toast was good even though the texture wasn't. Maybe they have a lot of call orders that keep them busy or they were prepping for lunch, but my experience was terrible. I'll probably come back in for lunch one day to see if it's better.
