Very positive lunch experience. Very clean, very fresh, wonderful food as you would expect from this chain. Most negative reviews posted here are in regard to to-go orders and service. The staff were not overly friendly, but they were certainly professional as you would expect. Would definitely return here when traveling through Little Rock. Very easy to get to off I-30 and I-40. The overall rating should be much higher than what is listed. Not enough evidence to warrant some of those bad ratings posted. Glad we took a chance. read more

First time we've(my family of four) been to this location in a couple years. Gotta be honest, probably won't be coming back any time soon. Where to start? $13 for the salad bar? Really scaled down version too. Gone were the hard boiled eggs, pickled okra, artichoke hearts, snow peas & green peas. The ice machine wasn't making ice in the soda fountain. The ice cream machine couldn't get cold enough to make the chocolate soft serve anything better than a runny mess(the vanilla didn't even work). Ordered a kid's baked potato and meatball marinara pasta for the little ones. About the only thing worth giving a good star to. Place just seems to have fallen on hard times. I'd like to think we just got there after the church crowd had ran it over but going by the price hike and lack of variety on the "famous" salad bar, it's probably the new normal sadly. This place is waaay better than Panera! Had the quarter Muffuletta with turkey sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup and both were soo good! This is my new go to lunch place. They also had a pretty nice salad bar if you dine in. Place is kept clean. Service is fast. Really good deli! Filling sandwiches. read more

We came here on Sunday at about 12:30pm before heading back to Missouri, and I'm really glad I did! The wait at a nearby restaurant was too long, and I found this place on google. Their menu is HUGE, so there's so many options to choose from and it was hard to choose. The employees were really friendly and helpful, and the food was great! Everyone with us loved what they ordered and the salad bar was kept really nice and clean. There was someone cleaning up the salad bar area and drink area regularly and the tables were wiped down pretty quickly after people left. I'd definitely come back here, or recommended anyone to give it a try. You won't be dissapointed! read more

After 15 years coming to this location, i regret to say this will likely be the last. Ordering a spud and getting a side of sour cream has happened every time with no issues, as should be, since its a VERY simple thing. Today when asking for it, I was informed it's no longer on the menu for the item, and to go order some at the counter for 49 cents. The line at this point was nearly 20 customers deep, since I didnt want to pay extra for what has always been included, nor wait to get it until my food was ice cold, I just turned and went back to eat my food. UPDATE: the manager (or who i assume to be one) just came to the table where we were nearly done eating to literally argue with us, after they noticed me snap a photo of the line for this review, questioning me "taking photos of her employees". She said if there was a problem, I could just jump to the front of the line and pay for the side, and that they get in trouble if they just 'give stuff away'. I told her it was way too late to fix, and explained what I was told, but she kept on, so I just said I didnt want to argue with her. She said thank you and left the table. I went to this place for the first time on Dec, 19 2021. I wanted to try their muffuletta, everything was great, got it fast even though I was told it was short staffed. When I was eating it I had no complaints but then I bit into something hard. When I looked it was a screw in the olive spread. I called the manager but they didn't care. I went to the Jason's in N. Little Rock, we had placed a large online order. I was skeptical because in the past other restaurants had disappointed us. They either totally left out someone's order or got amounts wrong, and in other cases totally misled us. We had individual orders and the names and order were correct and it was all delicious!! I usually choose this restaurant when I am in the mood for a baked potato and excellent sweet tea. I have tried a few other items here, but what sticks in my mind the most is the large baked potato with chicken, bacon, spices, cheese, and chives. I believe it's called the Santa Fe Spud. The potato is HUGE so be ready to eat or split it between someone. They serve the spud with a side of sour cream and butter. I like to add salsa to give it a little extra juice/spice to it as well. This goes along great with a large glass of their sweet tea. But what doesn't go great with their sweet tea? =) The restaurant has a very appealing looking salad bar as well with a lot too choose from between fresh veggies, fruits, and individual salads. The menu has just about any type of sandwich option as well as a few soups for the day. The fruit platters look amazing, and the desserts looks mouthwatering. BF and I love Jason's Deli. Best sandwiches, soups, salads and humongous stuffed baked potatoes. Jason's Deli is very generous with the meats in your sandwiches. They are always huge. The sandwiches are crammed with your selection of deli meats. I always get the Prime rib Au Jus and I am never disappointed. BF usually gets the Rueben, and he is always satisfied. The large sandwiches are plenty satisfying-I usually can only eat 1 1/2 of it and save the other for lunch. We also had the Tex-Mex loaded potato. The potato was the biggest potato I have ever seen-loaded with BBQ brisket, cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce.($7.99) I am amazed at how big everything here is. You do pay a good price for it-a bit expensive if you just want a sandwich-( $11.00 ) but pretty much worth it as you get huge portions. Our bill was $35.00 +. I think the workers here are extremely cheerful, pleasant, happy workers. Always a good experience here. The Chefs seem to overload your plate-which is a good thing. So I just doordashed a grilled cheese and tomato soup from here and the grilled cheese was awful. The bread was hard as hell and it was just kind of gross tasting . I was pretty hungry too, so I was just dipping the sandwich in the soup to make it edible. I ended up eating a pretty good amount of it and left the rest on my plate. My husband then walks over and picks up my left over sandwich remains and the bread is molded. Green and everything. I then called to get at least a refund for my order since I just ate moldy bread, and the manger told me I couldn't receive a refund for my order since it's through door dash. Understandable, but the manager didn't even once seemed concerned for this, didn't apologize or anything. This is just beyond disgusting, and y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for not even feeling bad when you're customer eats MOLD. read more

Delicious sandwiches. Friends took me to lunch here today for the first time and I really enjoyed it. When you walk in it seems confusing but take a minute and it all makes sense. You pick up a menu decide what you want and then order and walk down the aisle to pay. They then bring your sandwich to your table. I ordered the grilled chicken panini- grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, pesto, and spinach on toasted panini bread with olive oil on the bread. It was delicious. A bit bready, I prefer a panini with thinner bread but i just picked some of it off. I will definitely be back to try out some other sandwiches, they also had a salad bar that looked really fresh and delicious. read more

I'm not usually a fan of buffet's, but this salad buffet is done really well. Lots of fresh ingredients. If you are familiar with Souplantation, it's similar on a very small scale. They also have a large sandwich menu. The bf got the weekly special and enjoyed it. He chose a side of steamers and turns out that is a big cup of steamed vegetables, mostly carrots and zucchini, a healthy choice, but he regretted it and wished he had gotten chips instead. I've eaten Saturday lunch here twice and have enjoyed both visits. My first visit was after having been outside in freezing conditions for several hours, so we had the chicken tortilla soup. The soup was very flavorful. We especially liked the complimentary mini cornbread muffins that accompanied our soup. We had hot tea also and were directed to the hot water and a selection of tea bags, many herbal. Some mini gingerbread muffins went well with our tea. Our second visit we tried the chicken chili and its was a hit as well. This time we knew our way around the complimentary breads. Jason's is a regular site for local amateur radio operators to have lunch on Saturdays. They seem to visit at least once a month and are found at a row of tables near the mini muffins. Watch for the display of hand-held radios adorning their table. They also hold a informal lunch net on Saturday's at 10 a.m. on 146.940. Our Family has eaten at Jason's since I was a kid and we used to eat at their Original location (Shackleford Rd West LR) all the time. Their Salad Bar is like none other. All the fixin's you could possibly imagine on a salad. Their regular deli menu items are always spot on as well. Soups, Sandwiches and their Desserts are fantastic. Of course at the end of your meal their ice cream cones are a great way to end your visit Expect a busier atmosphere here on most days during lunch & dinner rush. Even their large open seating area has been found wanting for more space on several occasions. I love this place!!! Seems to have just about everything for everyone.....even for picky eaters like my wife who only want Mexican Food all the time!!! Best of all they're incredibly consistent. This is a great spot for healthy dining when traveling along I-40. It does require a detour to the North, but US-67 and Springhill Road give quick access to the address. Find it in the Best Buy shopping center accessed from (the North side of) McCain Blvd, just East of US-67. We found the salad bar fresh and well-maintained. The premises were clean. Get a Manager's Special (side salad and half sandwich) and wrap up your half sandwich for a snack down the road. read more

Not sure what happened to this location but it is now a mess. My husband and I come here most Friday evening and each week the environment gets worse and worse. The soup is luke warm, the service is marginal, the salad bar always needs more attention then it gets and the tables in the lobby don't get cleaned regularly. There is more than enough worker in here to keep this place up but that's not happening. They are too busy playing behind the counter. The young ladies are working and the guys are loading. Maybe the management has changed. We are going to take a break from this place and try back again in a few months hopefully thing improve. read more

My boyfriend and I have just returned from an awesome meal at this place. As a side note, we have just driven 15 hours from Virginia so I may be over-estimating the place the tiniest bit. But either way! I didn't expect to come to this area and find somewhere with a decent health conscious vegetarian selection. I had the veggie wrap which was great, especially the guacamole. My boyfriend had the zucchini grilled sandwich which he can't stop talking about. Even the salsa tasted pretty healthy. But we're most excited about the vegetarian onion soup! We haven't been able to eat the real thing for years and have never seen a veggie option before, so we tried it and are so excited that it was just as good as we remembered - even without the beef stock.
